Went to the terrace heights restaurant, it just opened a month or so ago. Service was good, atmosphere is a bit open warehouse like they need to make a bit more cozy, maybe put some shades on the upper windows? Food was meh, chicken in the enchiladas was tough and chewy, rice was also tough and beans were nothing to right home about. Tamale, could hardly find the beef filling. Our second time stopping by on our way through the area. The wait staff was wonderful and the chef catered to specific Vegan requests on our order. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's run by a family and they are all very friendly and make sure you are taken care of. The food is very good, you can tell it's fresh and made to order. Daily specials add to the menu if you are a regular diner as My Husband and I are. Love it in the summertime when we can sit outside. Currently they are a BYOB but double check as they are applying for their liquor license. They do have set up for margaritas and you can bring your own tequila. I did take a star off because we got sat at a booth with super outdated and cracked booth seats. It was pretty uncomfortable to sit on. I'm sure this establishment can afford to renovate run-down booths. Other than that, my Xochimilco Margarita was amazing!! Great size and came with additional shaker full of margarita. We literally got three drinks out of it. I ordered the steak fajitas and it was the best fajitas I have ever had! Meat had an adobo-like seasoning.. it was so flavorful! Party of three stopped in for dinner. The restaurant was pretty dark. Ordered fajitas, a combo of enchilada and tamale, and a burrito. The food was good. The tamale was very good. The real problem came when the bill arrived. They had added an additional entree and a bean dip. We asked them to adjust the bill to just the three entrees we ordered. They removed the bean dip ($4) but left the additional entree ($20). We had to send the bill back again. The smirking, caught server did finally remove the additional entree, but the interaction really soured the whole experience. Came by in hopes of a quiet corner to eat a cozy dinner. We were first brought to the bar without even asking if we wanted the bar. When we asked for the restaurant, they put us in the very first booth where everyone walked past. Maybe some people wouldn't mind that, but for us, it was uncomfortable. The food was overpriced for the quality and quantity. The man's mole had a very small portion of chicken in it for how much sauce was on the plate. Came here tonight and ordered a cocktail, ceviche, and enchiladas, we took one bite of the ceviche and cocktail and right away didn't like it. We notified the servers and they took it away for us. When the bill arrived. They didn't want to remove any of the items we did not like and said "well you ordered it, you chose it". After working in the restaurant industry for over 8 years, I was beyond taken away by the attitude and decision taken by the staff. Paid $60 to watch my girlfriend watch me eat my enchiladas. Been here multiple times. Hospitality is always warm and prompt, food is amazing (have had pollo Al la crema, carne, nachos, shrimp wrapped in bacon and more) and piping hot. During a recent stay in the Yakima area, I wanted a good place to eat after a long day of hiking at Mt Rainier. My airbnb host recommended Xochimilco, so off my travel buddy and I went in search of delicious Mexican food. Located in the back of a small shopping center, there's plenty of parking, and after walking up to the host stand, we were able to be seated immediately. Score! Our host had recommended the margarita, and -- without exaggeration -- this was one of the best margaritas that I have ever had. Fresh flavor, not too strong, and you get your own little cocktail shaker to top yourself off. You could easily split a single one between two people. Or you could enjoy one all to yourself -- you decide! The food is more than plentiful as well. I got the camarones al mojo de ajo, and travel buddy got the fajitas. Neither of us were expecting the portions to be as huge as they were. After the chips and salsa that we had while waiting, we were more than full by the end of the meal, and even filled up a takeaway box. We decided to venture here on a Friday evening when we all had a hankering for some Mexican food and were celebrating our 4 year old learning to count to 10 in Spanish - certainly a dinnerable accomplishment! Located on the backside of Glenwood square and was a solid spot for dinner. The fish tank in front of the restaurant was a hit right off the bat as well as after dinner. The restaurant is a bit dimly lit buy it sets the ambiance nicely. It can be either romantic-ish or a family place. The ladies taking care of us were very friendly and attentive as well. We started with mojitos and margaritas. All were excellent and the margaritas were HUGE! Double if not triple the norm. The beer selection was nice and included a good number of local brews, most of which trended towards hoppy. The food was excellent - my best half had fajitas, which were boss. I had the mole de oaxaca - their version of mole and it was delicious. Slightly smokey, a bit of kick and 100% delicious. Little dudes split a burrito, which was more than enough for a 2 and 4 year old. The chimichanga was very good as was the pollo de crema. All in all, this place is a win. It has the appearance of a chain restaurant from the outside, but the flavors are very authentic. Well worth checking out for a trending towards upscale Mexican food experience. read more

The food was better than 99.9% of the Latin Restaurants we have eaten at! Truly authentic and soo delicious! Fantastically refreshing and with the chilled shaker included the drink was well worth the extra money! For An appetizer we had and highly recommend the Queso Fundido with Chorizo! We usually order the Cadillac margarita to begin our meal, which is huge and well worth the price! On the surface you might think their drinks are a bit pricey, but considering the amount of alcohol in them, it's a good deal. We often order a seafood dish, which is loaded with seafood. You definitely won't leave hungry! Everyone on the wait staff is very competent and friendly and welcoming. Five stars for sure!
