My barista did a good job with the coffee but ugh...the music. It's guaranteed to drive you away.

It is kind of like a smash burger, but the patties are actually decently thick and still have that really good grilled crust on the outside. The burger was cooked really well and the bun was one of the best parts. It is bigger and a little heavier than a normal burger bun, and it held everything together really well. I also got the buffalo wings and thought they were really good. You get a great portion for the price and they had plenty of flavor. I also tried the grilled cheese with bacon added. It comes on sourdough and was grilled perfectly. Really simple, but really good. The fries were also very good, although I definitely recommend eating them right away while they are hot. They did not hold up quite as well after sitting in the takeout box for a while. I only went inside long enough to pick up my food, but the bar itself was actually really nice. It had a much better atmosphere than I was expecting. If I am ever back in Yakima, I would definitely stop in again and actually sit down for a burger and a drink.

We've always sat in the main part of the Tavern, but the first person arriving chose to sit in the side room which seems to be a back-up supplies room with a long table for guests since it was quieter. It was quieter. No matter the sitting location, the service has always been great. I had the Reuben sandwich, and it was excellent--flavorful, well made, and generously portioned. Even better, they actually had horseradish available, which is surprisingly hard to find and made the whole thing even better for me. A solid, satisfying meal with plenty to take home half for the next day. I'll definitely be back.

Was passing through Yakima and wanted to grab a growler of beer. After some simple Google search,…read more found Hop Capitol Brewing that had 4 good sour beers that kindled my interest. Now, I'm unclear whether Hop Capitol is the new brewery where previously Yakima Craft Brewing was or if a new name or they are both the same. Sampled their sours and was immediately captivated by their guava sour. Guava, a tropical fruit has a mellow sweet and fragrant taste, balances the sour very well. Took back a growler of that and enjoyed it the next day in the historic 100F weather in Seattle. Great brewery and recommended!

It's a relatively plain looking building from the outside, but inside is quite impressive! Upon entering, you'll be struck by how much space there is in here. Whether you're meeting with a group of 2 or 30, there's lots of room to spread out. Tons of stuff to do - darts, ping pong, Foosball, cornhole, arcade games, beer, did I mention beer! Tons of options including their stuff, tons of other local options, ciders and a few pops for those who like to hang out, but don't love them hops. They have a few food options - we just opted for pretzels and they were pretzelly as expected! The folks working here are super chill and the beer is priced like you'd expect it. If you love $7 Pabst, this isn't your spot. If you love beer culture and creativity going into your brew, this is a place you need to check out!

I have to say that after coming here for a friends 40th birthday, this is the type of spot we would hang out! We came on a Saturday evening for karaoke which started at nine and went to the wee hours of the morning. The cuddled up to the bar and some friends played pulltabs for something like two hours. They have a decent beer selection including some local stuff and a number of pool tables and dartboards on the area opposite the karaoke. The bartenders were all very nice and took really good care of everyone here, despite it being crazy. I didn't have a chance to sample any of the food, but they had a rather extensive list of burgers and sandwiches. I think it's a sort of spot we're going to need to come back to for lunch someday! Pulltabs are definitely not my thing, but for those that enjoy them, they had something like 20 different options. A good spot to check out if you're looking for somewhere to hang or dive bar at which to do karaoke.

We quickly decided that this is a place we will be coming back to! It's literally an indoor golf campus with five or six simulation Stations where you get to choose between what seemed like hundreds of different courses and play them with as many or as few people as you'd like, for a predetermined amount of time. They've also got a putting green, and you can bring your own clubs or rent some there. We grabbed one of the stalls for two hours, and five of us had a great time! The set up is pretty quick and you can make it so you can save your information and follow yourself overtime. It's pretty cool to be able to develop a handicap on the simulator! I've got a full bar and basically Gastropub type food. The bacon cheeseburger that I had was quite good, as were the shared nachos, wings and cheese curds. Prices are not outrageous and the beer and liquor selection was actually pretty solid. The place is super relaxed and the service was quick and friendly. This is a spot that I will be back to with friends, and probably a spot I will take my boys to practice. The place chill enough that it's the sort of place you can take kids, your significant other, or meet up with a bunch of buddies. It was nice to not be rowdy, but also to not have to be quiet like on an actual golf course.
