Recently got a gym membership here. I like that it is conveniently located and they provide an array of workout devices. The biweekly fees seem steep and I thankfully get a deal through my insurance Sadly, there are a lot of big ticket items that are currently broken including the cryotherapy and the body scanner. I also wish the layout was better and that there was more space between the weight machines. The women's locker room is kept pretty clean and staff is normally friendly. read more

I RAVE to everyone about Xperience Fitness. I think this gym is the best of all the other mainstream gym chains and I'll tell you why. 1.) They have everything. They have a pool, tanning, cryotherapy, classes, heavy bags, childcare, a ton of machines and weights, a place to do body weight and/or sprints, and a little shop where you can buy sweatshirts and water bottles. The only thing I've noticed they don't have is a court. I suppose I do wish they had some sort of smoothie bar like LA Fitness, but I can live without that. 2.) I believe they're open 24/7 majority of the week. This is really flexible. Most 24 hour gyms are really small and lack a lot. Most bigger gyms don't have the flexible hours. This is the perfect mix. 3.) It is SO affordable! I pay $20 a month for my membership and then a small yearly fee (under $50). That is unheard of! Most people I know are paying $80+ for Lifetime or at least $35+ for smaller gyms. Plus, I get multi club access. Besides all of these reasons to join, the gym is always extremely clean and the staff is awesome and super friendly. I feel very welcomed when I'm there. Your membership also includes a meeting in the beginning to help go over your goals and see if you have a plan to achieve them. I got to get real in my meeting and be honest about where I'm at and where I want to be. The supportive community is everything. I will say, they call you a lot before you sign up if you provide your number online, so maybe just pop in and take a tour before you decide if you want to join. Lack of professionalism, machines, bathrooms, et . not regularly cleaned. Overall disappointed

I moved here from out-of-state and joined in April 2022 and was happy with the place. Imagine my surprise when I got my credit card bill 8 months later and saw the price increased 36%! I called and left a message with their corporate office - but never received a return call. So then I called the facility directly 6x in a 3 hour period. Each time, the phone rang and rang and rang and then finally disconnected me. My 8th call was to their financial office support (appeared to be out of the country) and this time a real person answered. She looked up my account and she had no idea why my rate had been increased - so she put me on hold and called the facility herself. She came back to me and told me that they were not answering her call either and recommended going directly to the facility to talk to them. Two days later, I did that. I spoke to Jack (the manager) and he said everyone was sent an email months earlier alerting them of the price increase. When I told him I never received an email, he admitted many others had told him the same thing. He said they were short-staffed and that likely was why the phone wasn't answered. So... basic services are reduced but the price is increased. Entirely disgusted with this facility (I've never experienced this at any other gym), I told him to cancel my membership. I'm just going to purchase my own equipment and work out at home. Shame on you Xperience Fitness! read more

I have been a member for a few years and generally like the gym and the people I associate with. However, when the Blaine location closed and most of those members came over to the Coon Rapids location, it has become almost impossible to get on or use any equipment, especially during peak hours. Most of that is because they have double the members and only one gym's worth of equipment. A second part of that are the high schoolers (especially the groups) that take multiple weights at once or bounce between benches and other pieces of equipment with no regard of other people that are there to workout, too. It makes it very difficult to get a full workout in without needing to stay there for hours to do it. A couple of suggestions: - Offering high schoolers a discounted membership if they don't work out during peak hours (3:00-7:00pm or whatever peak hours would be). - Reconfiguring the gym and some of the spaces that are rarely used and get/buy some of the equipment from the Blaine location to accommodate the increased number of people. read more

Closed gym without notification. Went to next closest location in Coon Rapids. Only needed to go two days. Gym is dirty, but the men's locker room and showers were NASTY. Notified Corporate of issue and to inquire if there was any plans to increase the size of the sauna due to the fact that there are now two gyms going to one now. Received no reply from Corporate at all!! When notified gym I wanted to end my membership the employee giggled and asked me which one I went to before. Then the employee turned the keyboard and mouse around so I could fill in my personal data to submit my request of cancelling. I would recommend going somewhere else for your physical fitness needs! read more

I've been to a few different gyms, Xperience is my favorite. A clean location, staff is very friendly. They'll always tell me to have a good day when I leave. I can't remember the last time I saw any equipment was out of service. They have classes, tanning booths and Cryotherapy . Honestly starting at 10$ is pretty good compared to some places. read more

Xperience in my opinion is one of the best bang for your buck on a gym membership. Giant TV's throughout the facility with your choice of HD programming? Check... Friendly Staff? Check... Plenty of equipment? Check... Choice of classes? Check... Swimming pool? Check... Cryotherapy? Check Check Check! Clearly plenty of offerings at Xperience fitness but who is this gym really for? It's for the person who doesn't need all the things Lifetime is offering yet isn't a Planet Fitness located in a strip mall that is always overcrowded from selling discount memberships only wishing you were on a coach airline seat to get some space during your working. It hits right in the middle edging more towards the Lifetime area. The facility is clean, friendly staff, new equipment, plenty of TV's to enjoy during workout, classes, personal training, you name it. US Cryotherapy is also attached to this gym which when your done shopping at the neighboring five below store and need something colder they got your back. We will save the Cryotherapy for another day as it's in a class of it's own. It's hard to be disappointed here with how far your membership dollars go and what you are getting in return. I do wish it was open 24 hours and keys for the lockers would be a nice touch but certainly not deal breakers. If you want one of the best values in a gym membership then look no further than Xperience. read more

Love this gym! They have lots of new equipment so there's always something to do. The staff is great and does a good job of cleaning everything very clean. I always see them wiping down equipment throughout the day so it leaves me feeling comfortable about using it after others. The staff is amazing, very supportive and motivative towards the clients. I really have been enjoying this gym so far! It's clean, the layout is easy to navigate and there is SO MUCH EQUIPMENT. It's cheaper than most local gyms and I really enjoy the BOXX class Saturday mornings. My only complaint is price/time wise this is not a child friendly gym. The kids club staff is awesome and the space is great, but they have very odd hours. You have to be an 8am gym goer or later in the evening because they are closed in the afternoon. I was quoted on the Coon Rapids FB page that kids are $10 a month per kid which sounded great! Once I was signing up I was thrown off slightly that the Coon Rapids location is the only one that charges $15 per kid per month. So I was quoted wrong originally. Paying an extra $30 a month for me to have the option to bring my kids but ONLY during certain hours kind of sucks. Still, it's much cheaper than another gym nearby that charges $67 a month plus $10 per kid. A former gym I was involved in charges about $200 a month for a family of four. On one hand I can't complain, on the other, I'm bummed I'm paying an extra $10 a month then expected and wish I had the option to go at 2pm. The staff is very friendly! I do wish they didn't just let any staff sign people up tho because the girl who did our registration failed to mention the annual fee for ALL THREE OF US (comes up to $150-ish I had no idea about that comes out 3 months after you sign up). Luckily my husband read the entire contract because ours comes out Dec. 23rd. I would have been quite surprised having $150 come out 2 days before Christmas. read more

The facility itself is nice, very clean, the people that work there are very nice. However, it is the most sales pitchey buy this, buy that, sign up for this pay extra for that gym I've ever been in. They suck you and thinking it's going to be $10-$15 a month and by the time you walk out the door you're paying at least $33 a month if you want to have access to the gym for all the hours that they're open and to all of the classes that they have. They're going to cram cryotherapy down your throat and try to force you to sign up for the Q and personal training. If you take advantage of all of these things if they're trying to sell you your gym membership a month is going to be well over $200. It's ridiculous. I feel very pressured to join the Q and to have personal training even though I've already made it clear I'm not interested in either of those two things. Some of the other gyms that are cheaper aren't is clean or as new but I might cancel this membership and go back to my old gym because they're not constantly trying to sell me something I don't want. read more
