A couple years ago, ago a family member had an HP computer that failed while his boys were playing a popular "Online" video game. The computer froze and could not be booted normally. I took it to two national repair facilities over several weeks. One of the stores sent the computer to their High Level Support facility, Nothing helped. Over 4 years of Word Files, Emails, Employee data and company projects etc. were gone (yes they needed to backup, but hadn't). I was about to tell my family member that his data was gone for good. I told a neighbor of my problem, and he suggested I try "Xpert Computer Repair"of Wake Forest. Long story short - 4 hours after delivering the broken computer to Xpert, they called and said found data, but it would take several days to retrieve the missing files. Several days later all the lost data was back in a New Computer "with automatic backup" set up by Xpert Computer Services". The guys here are very helpful and friendly. They performed a malware/virus scan on my computer which helped out a lot - it only took a day to get everything off. There was a specific malware program on the computer that I'd brought it in for which wasn't taken off immediately. However, I called them back about it and they said to bring it in again for no extra charge, which was great. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I had to make a second trip, but even that wasn't a big deal since they're located in the middle of town (which makes running errands a lot easier). We just brought home our second repaired desktop PC from the store and are very happy with the great service we are receiving. The speed of the service along with the quality workmanship and fair pricing means we will also be bringing in our last malfunctioning desktop (our third repaired by Xpert) and next.... one of our kid's laptops!! I am a bit of a computer novice and knew what wasn't wrong with my pc but could not figure out the problem. I took it to a big box store at first and they tried to sell me several parts that I knew were not the issue. A friend of mine recommended Xpert computer repair so I gave them a try. They quickly diagnosed the problem and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. They had my computer fixed and back to me the next day. I took my iPhone 4s into have the screen replaced , because my kid dropped down it the stairs, Jonathan and Kolton were very nice and informative, about the repair. We had a problem with the fan in our laptop - it was running constantly the computer occasionally would shut down from overheating. We brought the computer in to Xpert thinking we would need the fan replaced. Instead, they opened it up, gave it a good cleaning, and it's been running perfectly ever since. read more
