Xpress Relocations was sent to my home by ShipSmart to pack a two furniture items - an antique desk and bookcase and 4 paintings/artwork. They were in my home for approximately 15 minutes. When I offered them a drink on their way out, I was told I should tip them because they are going to take care of my things. I came back with $60, $20 for each man and was asked if that was all I had and I said yes. My desk arrived with two legs sheared off. No damage to the outside of the box. SCAMMERS! I used Xpress relocations about 7 years ago and they were wonderful. I recommended them to my son and they scammed him. First they said they would be at a certain time and did not show up. He was living in an apartment building and had to schedule the move. They did not even call to say they would be late. Upon arrival, the movers were dragging their feet taking breaks and on their phones to waste time on purpose. My son called the office to inform them of the mover's behavior because he was told there would be a charge if the move time went over a certain time. Upon reaching the new home, they were hanging out in the truck for a while and then they said they could not take the furniture out of the truck because the time paid for was expired. They were demanding a couple hundred dollars extra. My son called management and was told if he didn't pay up they would take his furniture to their warehouse where he would have to pay by the hour for storing his items. This is illegal and it is EXTORTION. We called the police to have a report of their extortion. My son spoke with the rude AF owner who denied the movers did this on purpose. Remember, my son called earlier to inform them the movers were on their phones and not packing up the items. Due to unforeseen life circumstances, this review was written last year but submitted late. In short, the staff and movers were amazing; however, the owner/boss, Eynel, is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I moved from FL to PA in June 2024. My Point of Contact (POC) was very friendly and easy to reach. She updated me frequently throughout the move, which helped ease the stress. She clearly understood the stress of moving and was always very helpful and patient. The movers were hard-working and friendly, and they loaded and unloaded my stuff in a timely manner. Most importantly, they carefully handled my belongings. What I wish I had known ahead of time: Their payments online charge a 3% fee. With a $10,000 move, that is $300 in fees I was unwilling to pay. They didn't have the option to enter my bank account info so I did a wire transfer. It took some time so I wanted to plan ahead for my final payment on move-in day to complete another wire transfer. I contacted my POC the day before. She gave me a final total, which differed from the total on my website invoice. On move-in day, there were 3 separate amounts being juggled around before the correct balance could be confirmed. Once it was confirmed, I sent it over to my bank who said it would take 30-45 minutes. I was never notified that the movers would not (correction: COULD not, according to their boss) even begin to unload the truck until all payments were received. Once I was told that, I worked with my bank to try to get it wired ASAP. This is when I get a call from Eynel, with whom I have had zero dealings with so far. There were no formalities, rather, he immediately proceeded to demand the payment. I explained the wire was in the process, and he literally yelled at me and told me I should have been prepared since I knew the total the night before. I explained that I had text messages all morning with my POC about the correct total (I have text messages for proof), but he insisted I knew the night before and would not listen to me. He threatened to tell his drivers to drive away with my belongings and to charge me additional costs because they had been waiting for payment. Obviously I was very stressed out, having been working on this move for a couple of months, and he was threatening to take my belongings away that were right in front of me. I frantically pulled my car in front of the truck because I didn't want the movers to drive away with my stuff at his command. I was panicked. He was not listening to a word I was saying, was raising his voice at me, and was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I hung up the phone on him because there was no getting this man to listen, and I refused to continue to be treated rudely and unprofessionally. I immediately called my POC, who was again, calming, helpful, patient, and spoke with me and my bank to figure out the payment situation. Once my bank canceled the wire transfer and increased my withdrawal amount, I told the movers I was driving to the nearby ATM ASAP. I apologized that I blocked them in but explained how their boss treated me. They informed me that their boss told them to call the police on me. I am aware it is illegal to block them in, but I was also prepared to explain to the cops my reasoning behind it. Luckily the movers were calm and patient and communicative with me so cops were not needed. Cops were never actually needed if that man could learn to run a business and communicate professionally! My POC and moving crew were awesome, and I would highly recommend them. Knowing the above info about payment, you may be able to avoid all contact with the owner if you do go through this company. However, the way he spoke to me and treated me and never apologized, that man will never see another penny from me. This man is not meant to own a company that is designed to help their customers during what everybody knows is already a stressful time in life. And if he treats his employees anything like how he treats his customers (which I suspect), I hope they realize they deserve better. read more

This company has 0 customer service! I ordered movers to help me to take out the furniture from the house. I paid for everything upfront. Initially I was told that they will come 12-2pm. However they postponed several times, but promised they will come today. At 3.30pm I called and they told me that they're not coming!!! Avoid them. Big disappointment. They charged way more than the quote they gave us, after picking up all our boxes and furnitures. Not a small difference. And they request the payment before delivery, of course they are taking hostage of all our stuffs. We found out a couple of mirrors were completely broken. A staff in charge at the site said it was not their responsibility and told us to contact the company. We texted, called, emailed to customer service and our contact person but no response. There are so many moving companies in Miami, why waste your time with incompetent and rude employees that talk back and aren't even efficient with directions. I made the mistake of hiring these folks for our moving and I was very wrong. They were 2 hours and 45 minutes late on top of the fact that they kept getting lost and telling me I was giving them the wrong address. Once they wrapped everything up, they tried exiting through the long way just to consume more time. Both employees needed a SERIOUS ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT. In the end, when I was ready to pay to get them out of my face, they tried slipping in a hidden fee of $75 after I had revised the estimate and not seen it listed as a line item. Thankfully, I signed the CC auth form for only a certain amount so they were unable to add the fee. They only worked for 2.5 hours yet rang me up for 4 hours. One employee even came back INSIDE MY HOUSE to tell me never to call him again for a moving WHEN IM THE CUSTOMER! Businesses like this are a dime a dozen & without THE CUSTOMER they are nothing. Furniture piled on top of boxes clearly marked FRAGILE, padded/shrink wrapped furniture with padding ripped away, boxes crushed, boxes with holes, wooden furniture gouged, leather couch & chair w/leather scuffed off, item missing & other items not mine on truck. We used Xpress to help us move from a one bedroom apartment in Edgewater to a two bedroom in downtown. They were honestly awesome. They came on time to our apartment and moved everything quickly and carefully. My roommate hadn't finished boxing up all her items (still sorry!) and the guys were willing to help her finish which we were so grateful. Once we got to our new place they were able to move everything in quickly. They even rebuilt our beds for us and placed everything where we asked. They completed the job quickly without damaging any of our product and were super helpful throughout the whole process. I would definitely reuse them again. read more

Do not hire this company, after they break a 130 year old barrel trunk that I advised them not to pickup by the leather handles they did anyway and ripped off the handle. They dropped it and broke 2 porcelain figures inside also. So when you call to see what can be done Franco that was very nice when I paid $1200 to go across the street literally, now says well we have a contract and basically it is what it is. Totally a bad experience shit company stay away I would not recommend to anyone use anybody else but this company. Spare yourself. They will lie just to get your business. The website says that deliveries can take up to 15 days from pick up but they do not stand by this. They picked up my furniture and left it in a warehouse for 5 days before telling me that they didn't put my things on the truck that it was supposed to and that the next truck wasn't leaving until the following week. They then shipped my things with a third party shipper and continued to lie about when delivery would occur. It is going on 4 weeks since my things have been in there position and I STILL cannot get a straight answer on when to expect my things. If you expect your things in a timely fashion don't use them. Also, they have made no effort to calm the situation by offering a discount and when I ask, they say "there is no guarantee" despite the fact that their website PROMISES delivery in 15 days. I wish I could give negative stars. This place is a joke. If you chose to use them- don't expect to see your stuff for two weeks (after they said 3-10 days), they won't communicate about delays unless you reach out to them and even then the time frames will get changed several times. The CEO says let me talk with the management team to see what kind of discount I can get you. (The management team is him and his wife according to the website). Their solution? Let me offer you 5% off the second half of your payment...not even the whole thing. So you finally get your belongings great... except your tv is missing, several things are broken, and they don't even bring the pieces for you to put together a bed frame. The delivery drivers drop a desk and break it while coming in. So you reach back out, they say they will look for your tv, pay you for some of the broken objects, and give you a bed frame they have in the warehouse... so you want to give me a USED BEDFRAME/HEADBOARD THAT YOU LOST FOR SOMEONE ELSE???? Disgusting no thanks. After 2 more weeks they find your tv and say they are "working to schedule a delivery". No other comments made. Then two days later the whole company is blowing up your phone because they are now in the area and want to deliver it now. Problem being, no notice was given of delivery so both my husband and I are at work. My husbands ends up having it delivered to his job to put in the back of his pickup truck and hopes no one steals it. They tried telling me "we contacted you two days ago" and had a snarky tone behind the message and tried to back track when I sent them a screenshot of what was said to me and tried to say "they are trying to schedule it now". No they are saying we are dropping it off at this moment because we can't deliver it tomorrow. (Even though our stuff at the beginning was delayed several times supposedly because other people couldn't accept their belongings at the original scheduled times) Franco will act amazing until he collects your money, then he stops caring. He couldn't even be bothered to learn my husbands name and kept calling him some name that he made up. He also thought he was just talking to my husband at one point and tried to claim he told me things and then when I made it known I was on the phone, he wanted to change what he was saying. The CEO acts like he will take care of you to get you off the phone then he just puts you in contact with customer service who does practically nothing. He runs from difficult situations and makes other people deal with it. You can ignore the following quotes on their website: "ensure every deadline is met" "we work with transparency, trust, and empathy" I wouldn't have cared about any of these issues, if they just learned to communicate. And I said that several times before I had to start getting rude with them. This whole company is a joke. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR AWAY from these people. Guys, let me tell you what an amazing experience I had with Xpress Relocations. I've moved a lot in my life, and used my fair share of moving companies, and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. After doing a lot of shopping around and getting quotes for a local move for my one bedroom shoebox, I was fully prepared to pay about $1000. I called Xpress Relocations and got a quote from Joselyn For about $350, inclusive of a $75 stair fee, for four hours of moving service with two men and a truck. I thought to myself that this sounded too good to be true, there had to be added fees, they were going to charge me extra for mileage, extra padding, a roll of tape, who knows?! I was still fully prepared to pay over $1000 for my little tiny local move. But I went ahead and scheduled it anyway. I was told that the movers would arrive with the truck between 8 and 10 AM and paid a $50 deposit with my credit card. I figured worst-case scenario, I could fight it with the credit card company. On the day of the move, the movers called me right at 8 and said they would be arriving by 8:30. Surprisingly, they showed up at 8:30 on the dot. They walked through my apartment, took a look at what I had to move, and gave me a rough overview of what the process would be. They said that it would be about an hour to load, and about an hour and a half to unload. They gave me a load start time of 8:45 and got right to work. They disassembled a bed frame, tightened the legs on a dining table, loaded a bunch of boxes and furniture in about 45 minutes. Less than an hour later, we left from my old apartment to my new place at about 9:30. When they got to the unload location, they did a quick check of how to get from the parking lot to the unit and started unloading at about 10:15. By 11:30, they had everything unloaded, my bed reassembled and were completely done. I have never seen two movers work as quickly and efficiently as these two! At the end of the move, they called in to the office and processed the final charge. Still less than $350! No hidden fees, no extra charges, nothing. I was shocked that the move was completed in less than the planned time frame and stayed within the quoted rate. I cannot express how happy I am that everything ran so smoothly. I have literally been telling everyone I talk to that if they need a moving company, this is the way to go. Found this company through Groupon, but did not buy the actual voucher. I contacted them directly to see if they could match / beat their Groupon deal. The person I spoke to was friendly and professional and agreed to beat the Groupon offer - $270 for 4 hours and $79 per extra hour (with Groupon it would've been $90 per extra hour). They immediately deducted 1 hour for "travel time" which meant that I would get 3 hours of moving time. Ok, that's fine, I'll deal with it. With the two men that the company sent, plus the help of my husband, they moved my 4 bedroom house in just under 2 hours. The owner demanded cash, and I didn't have cash on me. He then advised me of a 3-5% credit card transaction fee and insisted that it was on the invoice that he sent me. I referred him to said invoice, and when he realized that he didn't include the credit card transaction fee clause, he "waived" the fee for me. It sucks that I paid for 4 hours and only really used 2, but the service was good, which is why I would probably use them again. read more

From the second they arrived, they were professional, courteous, and as soon as they figured out the game plan, they were off to a great start! They guys were careful and wrapped everything. They even helped unattach and attach some of the furniture, and were quite handy. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for your furniture moves. They even work on Sunday! Which was important for us. The only reason why they din't get 5 stars was because at the end of the move, they required the balance in cash. I would have preferred a credit card. After all, not everyone has that much disposible cash sitting in their checking account. I read the contract and it did say cash at the end, I had it, so it was ok, but if I was relying on using a credit card, that would have been a major problem. read more

Scheduled pickup at 8:30-9:30. They called me and said two of the crew were involved in a card accident. They told me that they would be there between 1-3 and have two additional men help with the move so it would be done faster. They showed up at 3 with only the three men that I had paid for. They damaged several pieces of furniture in the move and argued with me about the damage being preexisting. When I asked for some concessions. They discounted my bill $30 and didn't charge me the 3% credit card fee for payment. After they left I found damage on a number of pieces of furniture and damage to stairway left a message a s never heard back from them. read more

I hired this company to move me last month. They 'Mistakenly' kept two large bags of my packed clothes and then when I asked them about it, they made up a story about leaving inside their truck by mistake. They returned the bags however they had opened the bags and gone through all of my items, kept 5 of my work Pencil skirts, 3 of my tank tops, 1 new blue knit sweater in total about 10-15 items of my clothes were missing. They may have a side business stealing people's belongings. It's pretty horrible when you pay and trust them to move you and they end up robbing you! Disgusting and horrible! read more

If I could give negative stars I definitely would. The men that packed my belonging were wonderful and very professional. However they advertise the price they quote you is the price you pay. So not true. They charged twice that. They damaged an antique chair and lost the legs to a very large tv. Also they lost a box of my belongings. The men who brought my belongs to the new address drove into my yard and tore the yard up. When I called the mai. Office to complain Joes response was it will go back into the ruts when the snow melts. I called again to inquire about the issues and he said he would send me an email with insurance information, that email never arrived. He also said he knew nothing about the broken chair and he had two missing boxes written down. My belongings were unloaded In Miami warehouse then again in New Jersey. I'll start by saying, if I could I would give this company negative stars. This was by far the worse moving experience I have ever had. The day before my move they changed my move time to later in the afternoon. 12-2pm. The day of the move 12pm, 1pm, 2:30pm rolls around and I haven't heard from the company. I tried contacting them earlier to get updates. No response until 3pm telling me that they had issues and were running late. I asked the length of time the representative says 45 mins. Fast forward 5::45pm they show up, only to have my wife and I moving more of our stuff than the movers. I witness one of the workers on multiple occasions on the phone with a family member. One worker practically stay at the truck majority of time. 3 hours later they are finished packing up the 1 bedroom apartment. 3 hours after that they are done moving everything into the new place. If there is one good thing I can say, I guess I can say their consistent. Smh. Forget to mention two of our nightstand drawers where broken‍. After all this the representative stated that I would be charged additional time , even after I informed her I was promised a discount. Representative stated that the movers would stop moving if I didn't pay. Very condescending and dismissive. Finally spoke with a higher up who helped with the discount. The only person actually conducted themselves professionally. I would NEVER!!! Recommend this moving company to anyone. Unless you want to move your own stuff and pay hundreds of dollars to have someone drive your things. Worst experience I have had after moving closer 30 times. read more

Had a great experience working with this company. I inquired about my move through Yelp to several well-rated vendors, but Eynel (the owner) got back to me the quickest. He was very pleasant and his prices were competitive. We decided to book with him. I think the quality of the company's customer service can be measured when you run into problems and you need to work together to get help. We had a delay in the closing date of our home purchase, which ultimately meant that we had to cancel the move until we knew we owned the house. Eynel spoke with my wife and worked it all out. He answered even though he was on a current job and he pleasantly told her that it was ok, and even though it was less than 24 hours notice, amidst the circumstances he did not charge us any cancellation fee. We rebooked them for the move, and even though the weather was bad, our movers Jackson and Wendy were phenomenal. They were VERY pleasant and personable... but mostly, I admired their professionalism. They offer full service, from stretch wrapping furniture to boxing up mirrors. Needless to say we were very happy with the quality of their work. I would recommend them to my friends and if I relocate in the future I will use them again! read more

I'm still waiting for them to call me to tell me where the screws are for my $4k Mitchell Gold bed. It was an emergency move. They were able to come out immediately, but I had to call twice just to get the quote. The contract was smooth after that. The movers arrived with a ridiculously large moving truck (more than 20 feet) A 2/2 took from 10 am to 4 pm where I paid over $700. This same move was less than $500 just 6 months. It rained so there were start/stops, but the bed had to be taken apart which took an hour.. The Xpress truck couldn't fit in the storage bay with another UHAUL 20' truck in the bay. the Xpress movers walked the items from the street to the elevator for an hour. Finally, the other UHAUL 20' truck that was moving when we arrived, left so xpress could drive the truck into the bay and finish up. They wrapped the furniture for storage, but neglected to attach the screws to the furniture. There were screws everywhere when I returned. I called the next morning to ask where the screws were for both beds. The owner said that he would call back. I'm still waiting. Just use JoChas Moving... read more

On September 17, 2015 at 2:37 pm EST I received an email from the owner Eynel Sequeira stating that I should be getting a letter in the mail and that he planned to take legal actions against me and I should be hearing from his lawyer and plans to sue my for "defamation of character" quoting that I "lied" about them. As of today, I have not received such a letter, though I am looking forward to it. Mainly because he already told me he fired employees due to my communication with them. I also clearly stated that my course of action would be to report the to BBB and give them a yelp review because I was taken advantage of and his employees were not professional. I don't take kindly to threats when I was the one who got bad service from their company. So I am hoping it wasn't just a threat. It's funny that the review below says two movers moved her entire 4 bedroom house in the allotted time but it took them 7 hours to move my one bedroom, yet I am the one wrong. Negative.. I had an unusual situation regarding my move; I had large items at multiple locations. I spoke with Eynel the owner who was very fair and accommodating in pricing the additional work. On the day of the move, he was in contact with me before our agreed meeting time, met me on time at the first location, and moved through the job at each location very efficiently and professionally. I was extremely impressed, especially as one location needed to move heavy items down from an upper level storage unit in an unfortunately awkward and difficult fashion. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend them to everyone. Just used these guys again for my move from the storage unit into my new apartment. There is literally no better moving company. The guys got to my storage unit at 12:04 PM for a noon appointment -- that is seriously so timely and I feel like that never happens with movers. They strategically assigned one of my previous movers to this job and he remembered exactly where all of my things were stored. Moving out of the unit took 45 minutes and then we were already unloading at my apartment. In addition to safely unloading and assembling all of my furniture, the guys were just plain nice...I so appreciate good customer service from people handling my possessions. Overall, I'm just thankful to have found this company and will never use another moving company...I really can't imagine a better experience. read more
