My elevator reservation ended at 5:00. They rescheduled me for that Wednesday since our elevator wasn't available Tuesday. Wednesday was the last day of my lease and my last chance to move. I called them in the afternoon to check on time. They said they'd get back to me. After I didn't hear back for almost half an hour, I called back and they were still scrambling. After I thoroughly explained my situation, and after they already failed to move me on my original scheduled day, I thought they understood. We had a bad experience with All My Sons. Despite getting positive reviews from a neighbor of ours and being fairly communicative with us leading up to the love, I soon learned that there was a big disconnect between their central office and the team on the ground moving. They arrived later than expected (despite being the first and only move they had scheduled that day) and to the wrong building. When they finally got started, drama started unfolding between the team members and they were pretty unprofessional and dragged us into their own disputes. Basically, two of the movers thought the third guy was doing a poor job wrapping and packing our stuff, which to their credit they showed us and encouraged us to file a claim with the company. However, they wasted a lot of time calling their bosses and bickering about the third guy--who eventually left despite us paying for three movers! We eventually got some money back for that but it was a long drawn out process. The remaining guys were meticulous to be fair and I felt like they took good care of our stuff, but they also managed to drag an apartment move out to the whole day (mind you, all they were doing was furniture breakdown and reassembly, our boxes were all packed). They barely finished on time with our condo's loading dock hours, and that was with us helping them a lot personally. Their pricing was not transparent up front and they end up charging you for a lot of packing materials that you never really get the chance to refuse. They also are one of those shady companies that locks your stuff up between where you're moving from and moving to, and won't finish unloading until you pay them. Some may say this is standard practice but if so, that only serves to show how sketchy the whole moving industry is. And--I've moved at least half a dozen times in the past 10 years and this is the only company who has done this, At the end of the day, our stuff arrived in good condition and we got refunded partially for the third mover who left in the middle of the day, but this was the worst and most stressful move I've ever experienced. We used All My Sons back in 2020 and had a fantastic experience, which is the only reason we chose to use them again. We assumed we'd get the same level of professionalism and care. We were dead wrong. Booking was easy, and everything was explained clearly--so we went into moving day feeling confident. That confidence didn't last long. The crew leader, Romeo Sanchez, called about 30 minutes before arriving. When he showed up with two other movers, he immediately asked my husband to sign documents on his iPad. When asked what the documents were, he casually replied, "I don't know what the documents are. I just have people sign them." Then, without a second thought, he slammed his clipboard down on our dining room table. Right away, it was obvious the other two movers were new and inexperienced. They were polite, but completely unprepared. Nearly every piece of wooden furniture we own is now scratched and dinged--clearly dragged or mishandled. They dropped multiple items and literally dragged furniture across the brand-new floors in our new home, leaving marks everywhere. Mr. Sanchez hardly helped, and when he did, he was reckless--carelessly tossing things wherever, without regard for our belongings or home. When we got to our new place, he once again slammed his clipboard down, this time on our new countertops. No respect, no care--just completely checked out. Most of our items weren't even wrapped properly. My light beige recliner for the nursery is now stained with dirty handprints. Our couch cushions were thrown unprotected into the truck. And to top it all off--they nearly drove away with our mattress still in the truck. My husband caught it just in time. Even worse, the glass top to my dresser is completely missing. I called the company to ask if they'd left it behind, and of course, they said no. When I called to file a complaint, I got nothing but a half-hearted, generic "I'm sorry." No follow-up. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE! If I could give zero stars, I would. This was, without exaggeration, the worst moving experience of our lives. We were moving from a 2-bedroom apartment just 25 minutes away. We pre-packed every single item into boxes before the movers arrived. The only thing that needed disassembly was our king-size bed frame, which we were told on the phone would take no more than 20 minutes. We called the day before the move to confirm everything. We were told we'd have a 2-person crew, that we were their second move of the day, and they would arrive between 1PM and 3PM, 3PM being the latest. They also failed to mention at this time -- or when we initially booked -- that there would be extra charges for moving TVs or mirrors, something they sprung on us after arriving. On moving day, 3:30PM came and went.. No movers, no phone call. We had to call them to ask for an ETA. They finally arrived at 3:45PM, a man and a woman, and it was immediately clear they were exhausted and burned out from their first job which took them longer than expected (they said it was a 3rd-floor walk-up with no elevator). While we empathized with them, it was obvious they were too tired to do this second move properly. They used an elevator for every item, so it should've been a relatively smooth process. Instead, it took the mover nearly an hour just to disassemble the bed, which had been promised as a quick task. It took them 5 HOURS just to load everything into the truck. By the time they finished loading, it was 9PM, well past what we expected. At this point, we were so worried about the cost and pace of things that we called all the men in our family to meet us at the new place to help speed up the unloading. When we got there, we handed the movers a tip, they took it and then they followed to inform us they just hit their "legal working limit" and would NOT unload the truck. Like WHAT!? They were taking all of our belongings, including our beds, clothes, important documents, and our daughter's medication, and leaving us with nothing for the night. We were in total shock. We immediately called the regional manager (or owner), Stephen, who was rude, dismissive, and completely unsympathetic. He acted like this situation was normal and not a big deal. He offered no solution and took zero responsibility. So now, my husband, two year old daughter, and I had to stay in a hotel overnight--without ANY of our belongings. The next morning, we were told the movers would arrive at 8AM to finish the job. They didn't show up until 9:30AM, same exhausted crew from the day before, and they refused to unload anything until we paid $1,800. This move was originally quoted at $800-$1,000. They even wanted us to pay for movers commute time the 2nd day. It felt like extortion. They were at our new home from 9:30AM to 12:30PM. And during that time, my family did about 80% of the work. The mover couldn't even reassemble the same bed he took apart the day before. After wasting another hour trying to figure it out, he just left it half-assembled and said he simply couldn't figure it out. To top it off, several pieces of furniture were damaged, and our daughter's desk was broken. The owner? He completely ignored all our calls on day two. Completely unprofessional. In the end, we paid nearly double what we were quoted, had to cover an unexpected hotel stay, and didmost of the move ourselves. This company is incompetent, dishonest, and borderline criminal. Overall the movers who did the work were great but I ended up really disappointed with All My Sons as a company. Their processes and customer service didn't live up to the size of the contract. I didn't get to choose All My Sons for this move as it was part of a corporate contract where they were providing hundreds of labor hours and months of storage for more than 50 moves in total. In my case, All My Sons moved all my stuff to their storage, kept it for two months and then delivered it at my new place. During that process, one bookshelf was damaged and delivered in an unusable condition (pictures). I submitted the claim and ended up disappointed when I learned they were just providing the most basic coverage despite the huge size of this contract. I had to decline their offer as it wasn't even worth the time. Their offer didn't even cover the shipping fee that I paid when I bought the damaged bookshelf. I was expecting something better than the bare minimum for a contract of that size where All My Sons got so much business from a "VIP" customer. Based on my experience with All My Sons, I wouldn't recommend them. For future opportunities I will use and recommend Pure Moving Company Miami Movers. I hired them back in 2022 and they went above and beyond when we had issues during the move. By that time they had an impressive track record of great reviews online and that is still the case. My original reservation an estimate was made with Stephanie more than three weeks ago. I am suppose to move in less than 48 hours. I get a call to confirm everything and am told there is an additional 20% fuel charge "that is required by Florida ODT regulation." This was never disclosed when I made the reservation and paid the deposit. Plus, they already charge a blanket one hour fee for "travel" which is $179. 20%? Not if the travel distance. The company initially provided a quote for my move and offered a discount to secure my business. On the day prior to the move, they called to confirm the details, during which I provided a thorough explanation of the items needing transport. On the day of the move, I was asked to sign paperwork indicating that any charges exceeding the quoted amount would be adjusted post-move. Trusting this assurance, I signed, and the movers began their work. The move took a total of nine hours; however, I was charged for 15 hours and some additional charges that I had negotiated with one of their colleagues and which they refused to honor. Additionally, the movers neglected to transport certain items from the old address. Despite these issues, the company has refused to reimburse the six hours of overcharges or address the forgotten items. I rented a U-haul to move them myself. I find this conduct to be deceptive and a breach of the agreement. I demand immediate reimbursement for the overcharged six hours and a resolution for the neglected items. A fuel charge AND travel charge, packing supplies, to the tune of $60 for one tv box ( which I asked to keep and they said no) assuming so they can resell the same damn box to the next poor soul that hires them. I had gotten quotes from 2 different companies, one cheaper than this one even and decided to go with AMS because it seemed like a reputable, trustworthy company. I didn't have any TVs, just 4 light boxes, a small loveseat, a desk, an unassembled bed with mattress, a couch, a drawer, a coffee table and a mirror. They had advised about their fuel surcharge and packing materials, and my first mistake was believing the charges would be within reasonable means. I had literally less than one room to move, by the time they arrived all the furniture was stacked up and all they had to do was take it into their truck. Oh, and I had moved most boxes myself already (thankfully I did, otherwise I would've had to pawn my dog in order to pay these people lmao). They advised they wrap all of the furniture which I naively did not object to because what's the worst that could happen? Before they started unloading the furniture, they collected the payment and when I saw the final price I almost threw up and cried, not even trying to sound dramatic. $1500 minus the $100 deposit I had already provided. The amount of added fees is outrageous, they really tried to say they used NINE rolls of tape when my boyfriend and I packed a three bedroom apartment using 2 rolls of tape. $191 in fuel fees which was then brought down to $161, goes to show they pull these prices out of their ass*s (to drive under 10 miles btw). At that point, my boyfriend and I had to start helping unwrap and bring the furniture upstairs because we honestly could not afford to spend another dime on this move. I felt horrible for the crew because they could see we were clearly upset with the situation and they truly did their best to complete the move in a timely manner and make it as seamless as possible, again, this review is SPECIFICALLY about the lack of morality and values this company conducts their business with. Disgusted does not begin to describe the way I feel after this experience due to the way I was taken advantage of by this company sadly. When I first spoke to them on the phone I felt so confident I would be provided an HONEST service. The 2 gentlemen we spoke to regarding these outrageous charges started off professional and immediately showed their true selves when we kept disputing what they said, in several occasions being extremely condescending and rude. I don't know how people like that live with themselves. I reached a point where I don't want to waste another ounce of energy arguing with such crooks, once I have been refunded I will do my duty and warn people about their fraudulent practices and try to forget about this unfortunate incident; moving is already a stressful enough process. They agreed to refund $211 of the charges but it still doesn't make up for their crimes, because ripping off people is a crime and I'm not sure how this company hasn't been shut down. read more

DO NOT USE!! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Look into Dolly (the app) if you need a small local move! I'm an executive assistant, and last week my boss needed help with a last minute (as in less than 24 hour notice) small move of some boxes from his daughter's dorm into a storage unit. I called around and got what I thought was the best price, but I never use my boss's card without first confirming with him that the charge is okay. So I told the woman I was booking with that I would have to call her back. She told me that the $100 deposit was fully refundable, so I said okay and booked the job. Two hours later, my boss reached out and said he knew of an app that we could use that would be much cheaper. I looked into it, and it turns out that for this small 30-45 mins job, I could book someone for 1/5 the cost of the professional company. So I booked the job via the app and then tried to call the previous company back at 5:15 EST. I sat on hold for 15 minutes before I gave up. By this point I had also emailed the company letting them know if the cancellation. I tried calling back twice more that evening, and still no response. I checked the company website but there were no hours listed, and when I tried the main line as opposed to the direct line to the brick and mortar location, still nothing. The next morning I call right at 9 am EST and get through. I was told that less than 24 hour notice of a cancellation meant that I forfeited the deposit. I explained that the only reason I made the deposit was because I had been assured by (gave name) that I could get it back. I was told that store policy was store policy. When I asked if they recorded their calls and could they listen back to the one I had the previous day to confirm I was telling the truth, I was brushed off. When asked why I didn't cancel yesterday when I knew about it then, I pointed out that I tried to call multiple times, and the answer was "oh yeah, we were closed." I pointed out that there were no hours posted, and that their cancellation policy was neither on the website nor on the confirmation email they sent me. I was then put on hold. After 10+ minutes they finally got back to me and said they'd call me back. 2 business days later, no return call. I called again, got another employee who said that their coworker would have to call me back, since they were the one working with me. 2 business days later, no return call. Yesterday morning when I called, it rang indefinitely with no answer. I then called the main company number instead of the direct line to office, and the customer service person said that the policy was actually 48 hours notice, not 24. He tried to connect me with the location I had been working with, but after coming back from putting me on hold, he said that the manager at that location indicated that I had already been told their policy and they wouldn't speak to me about it anymore.
