Very poor customer service. Receptionist seemed not to take if I was there or not. I walked up and ask for a massage and they said it would be 20 minutes and took down my name. I told them I would go get a bit to eat and come back in 20. I did just that and when I came back they asked if they could help me and I said that they took my name down and told me to come back in 20 mins. The same girl I spoke to 20 mins earlier seem clueless that it took place. Asked me to fill out a sheet and I brought it back to her and she said nothing. I waited for about 5 mins and asked how much longer it would be and she said 20 minutes...I said that she told me that earlier and she said "there are people in front of you." Obviously she screwed up an would not own up to it. I decided that the wait was not worth the trouble anymore and left. Experiences like are what will keep me from walking in to an express spa again. read more

From the minute we walked into the spa, the front staff was extremely pleasant, inviting, and helpful to us. We were greeted with smiles and warmth. The packages are fairly priced and the masseurs are very well trained in a variety of techniques. What we found to be most appealing was each staff member's attitude and demeanor. We held wonderful conversations with them as each were more than amazing to myself, my wife, and our two girls. Our two girls loved being pampered with getting their nails done, having an eyebrow waxing, and laying in the massage chairs to help them relax after our first flight. We intend to visit this spa every time we are in the Atlanta airport with an extended layover. It made time go by fast and the pleasantries that we experienced made it hard to leave. read more

I had a 6 hour layover, so I decided to kill time and get a full body massage. After a brief wait Tabitha took me back and began to work on me. It was the best massage I've ever had! She used just the right pressure on all the areas I hold tension in. I injured my hip a few months ago and have had pain on and off since, including during massages. When Tabitha got to my hip, there was no pain. My shoulders felt great, my lower back had been killing me from the aiplane seat and after an hour with Tabitha it was like I never was in that horrible, non-reclining seat. They also have lots of goodies for sale, I picked up a massager and a bottle of nail polish. I'll be stopping by next time I'm stuck here with a layover and telling my friends to check it out and ask for Tabitha! read more

While I was waiting for my manicurist, Courtney jumped in and took care of me while her client soaked her feet for her upcoming pedicure. Walked in to get an eyebrows wax and was set up with Kimberly. When I was finished and looked in the mirror I was very unhappy with my eyebrows. it looked like they were untouched! When I said they didn't look very good and they were uneven the lady responded with well they were uneven when you came in....exactly that's why I came to a spa to get them fixed! I refused any more help from her because of the way she reacted to my criticism, Not to mention it was 20$ for my eyebrows only! I expressed my concern to the check out lady and she said I'm sorry. I asked for another person to try and she said she was the only one there that could do it. Worst money I have ever wasted! I never thought much of these places in airport terminals. I mean how spa like can it really be in a busy airport? Yet, when faced with an unexpected 7 hour layover in ATL I took my chances and wandered in for a pedicure. Upon arriving I was told it might be. 30 minute wait, no problem. I was ushered in to enjoy the massaging chair while I waited. Then was treated to probably the best pedi I've had in a long time! My feet were as soft as babies and a great foot massage at the end! Yes, it was $85 once the tip was added but totally worth it when you have nothing better to do at the airport. read more

Outstanding experience! Brian delivered an amazing sports massage and "reset" my back after not having had a massage in several months. As this was an airport location, I wasn't expecting much but this massage would have exceeded my expectations even if I'd come in with high expectations. I was attempting to get a neck and back chair massage at this location due to massive shoulder pain which was causing a tension headache. Prior to entering, many of the employees were standing at the entrance trying to entice individuals to come in. They signed me up for my chosen massage and then I made the mistake of letting them know I was in my second trimester and they refused to massage me without my doctor signing off. I have been massaged in other airports and get massaged in my hometown often. Even in my present state. I am very disappointed in the fact that I was refused service as with other massages all the risk is always with the client. If in town again, even when not pregnant, I will not be coming back. read more

Great concept to have a salon in an airport. The nail tech I had was mediocre and as I was looking around, other customers had a better customer experience than I received. I had an express gel manicure - it was quick but messy, awkward, and forgettable. I will not go to this location for a service but may consider another airport salon. I have it three stars bc the polish was cleanly applied and the massage chairs are high end. $55 for a gel removal, gel polish, and a subpar manicure. Disappointing, seeing this so supposedly one of the busiest of its chain. With charisma, they could have sold me a better package and received a bigger tip. read more

I was on the fence about going here because I've never been to XpresSpa before. But I didn't have time to get a pedicure before traveling to Atlanta for a wedding and I really wanted to get to my hotel and take a nap before the festivities more than I wanted to try to run around town and find a nail salon. XpresSpa was right there...and so was John -- who went out of his way to wave me inside with a smile so I could get a classic pedicure. Jennifer did a fantastic job! She was so friendly and easy to talk to. Even though we were chitchatting like I had all day to hang out there, she was hard at work the entire time. She was super efficient, but at the same time I didn't feel rushed. And most importantly my toes looked great! :) I would definitely visit this XpresSpa location again. read more

Got to the airport early so I could get a mani pedi before my flight. It was about a 20 minute wait which I got to do in a massage chair. They leave you in a reclining massage chair so you can relax while they do everything. My nail tech, Dawn, was the most amazing lady ever. My nails look awesome and the conversation was great- we even found out we're both from Detroit. Makes me want to come early for my flights all the time! read more

I stopped by the XpresSpa in A for a quick polish change between flights yesterday, and was SO impressed by the service I received! Initially I was told it would be a 30ish minute wait, but John got me right to a table and Dee was with me within just a couple of minutes. Dee was METICULOUS with my nails - her attention to detail was amazing, and really took her time to make sure they look great. I didn't feel like she rushed through, which is kind of what I had anticipated, considering I was just asking for a polish change at an airport nail salon. The icing on the cake was when she offered me a massage chair while my nails dried! It was an unexpected treat in the midst of a crazy travel week, and I have a feeling I'll be passing through every time I have a layover at ATL moving forward. read more

I had brain surgery in 2011 and therefore, have tremendous chronic shoulder and neck pain. I visited Mare and he not only gave me the BEST massage I've ever had, but gave me extremely helpful tips on how to find the best massage therapist for my pain for when I returned home! He was amazing at targeting my pain in unique ways! Turan, the manager, ensured that my 12 year old son traveling with me was comfortable and well taken care of during my massage so that I could truly relax. I loved my mani pedi here during an unexpected layover. My perfectly applied polish lasted the week. How dare I forget my nail techs name but I think Jasmine. All of the staff were amazing! Marcus should be running the show with his hospitality. Considering the price point of the service, I think the environment could be more peaceful and spa like if staff had an area to be in until being called upon to provide a service. To no fault of the staff, they are fully prepared for any rush, but slightly uncomfortable to watch them forcefully look busy. All in all I left happy!! read more
