Just had the worst gel manicure at the xpress spa in DFW terminal E. The woman who did my manicure was in a huge rush and did not even paint my whole nail. I paid $50 for this and only tipped $8 since it was a terrible job. Not worth the convenience... don't waste your money here. read more

For airport pricing this place is super expensive. A 25 minute basic pedicure is $50. That is what I pay for an hour and a half pedicure with scrub and oil massage outside of the airport. And, they claim to be swamped but every time I've been in there or walked by it's a ghost town. I get it's in an airport but these services are seriously over priced. read more

I loved my experience here the tech that took care of me from start to finish with my service was K.K she's really welcoming. I had previously signed up online to become a member hoping I would have a good turn out and sure enough it was great. Although if I was walking through I'm sure k.k would have convinced me to try them out which is a plus. Overall I did see the previous polish with bad reviews on which I agree look ugly but if you communicate with your tech you can easily fix that. My tech did a great job over all and I also had my input in my shape so ppl speak up this is the best way to spend your time at the airport. This was my second time using the spa at the airport and I look forward to my long layovers now! I had Miss K.K. and she is so lovely, funny, and does perfect work!! I will definitely be asking to have her do more services for me in the future! The spa itself is always a relaxing place but today the people working across the way at 7-11 were so loud! Phenomenal !!! Ask for Holly, she worked chiropractic for several years and really knows how to work the muscle groups. If you want an actual deep tissue massage rather than oily back rub... this is the place and she is the one. I walked out feeling twenty years younger and didn't feel oily. Terry, was the gentleman responsible for this 5 star rating (Terminal A). He gave me THE best massage I've ever had. He really has a natural gift for finding tension and working it out. Regardless of the noise and buzz from the spa itself, and the airport terminal, I was able to disconnect completely from reality and relax after a very taxing week. Let me start by saying that I am a massage veteran and have had therapists that run the gamut from amazing to terrible. I love strong pressure and a firm touch which is exactly what I recieved from Clementine at the E Terminal today. This lady knows her stuff and had me feeling like putty after 10 mins. Cons: Prices. I suppose the inflated rates are expected at the airport, but I was surprised an disappointed with what was included. During a long layover on my way to Cancun, I decide to get a pedicure. While typically I spend around $30 for a 30 minute pedi (including brief leg and foot massage) the Xpress Spa version was $45, their basic pedi, and no massage at all was included. After a brief soak and scrub (no pumice, more of a sandpaper type thing) she trimmed and painted my nails. Not including dry time, it took about 15 minutes. For an additional $20, I could have gotten what I'm used to at a regular nail salon. Next time I'll spend my layover time spending money at the bar. read more

Well if you are desperate for a manicure then u can hold your nose and settle in. But talk about the bare bones service. I had about a 30 second soak, no massage, no push back of cuticle or cleaning under the nails. When I objected I was informed that these "extra" services are included in the $45 manicure. I doubt I will ever pass through Dallas again without seeing Sarah. Only time I have had a better massage was when I was seeing a massage therapist every 2 weeks consistently. I had a few hours before my flight in DFW in Terminal A. I stopped in for a 20 min chair massage. Was fortunate enough to meet massage therapist Larry Kelley. I have a LOT of experience with massage therapy due to severe back issues. I feel qualified to say that Larry is a VERY GOOD therapist. He knew exactly what spots to hit for where I was feeling referred pain. I only wish he lived in my area and I wasn't just passing through. I would definitely return often if I could. Absolutely the worst pedicure. Ever. I had a little over an hour to kill so I thought I would relax and treat myself to a quick pedicure. Well, that is exactly what I got; a QUICK pedicure. About 15 minutes from start to finish. This lady barely soaked my feet at all, dried them off, and painted right over my untrimmed cuticles. Polish ended up all over the skin around my toes. I basically paid $45 for a terrible polish change. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

First off, next time you are at Dallas Fort Worth airport (DFW) in Terminal D near gate 20 and you have 15-30 minutes to spare, make sure you hit up XpresSpa and ask for Terry! With American trying to figure out how they were going to handle "mechanical difficulties" for my flight, I decided to grab a quick neck massage, and boy am I glad I did. Now I didn't have a lot of time, but Terry quickly greeted me and started up on my knotty mess of shoulders and my kinked up neck. I could only do 15 minutes but that really hit the spot, cause I made it to the new gate over in Terminal A that AA reassigned us to just as they were starting to board. I needed a little TLC before a 9 hour flight and stumbled upon this place. Carlos greeted at the entrance and was kind to answer any questions. I have LOOOONG hair so I was happy they were able to take me in. I had Sandra who is amazing!!! Everyone was really friendly and professional. I did a mani. All the chairs and nice massage chairs and the ambience is really calm. After your service you can sit and relax for as long as you want to. Cost is slightly more than some salons, but it's at the airport and it's convenient. I feel like my money was better spent here than at the priority pass lounge. This is my new favorite spot at DFW. read more

I had a great masseuse for a 30 minute back massage. Really good massage with firm pressure. They also asked when my flight departed and kept track of time to ensure that I had prompt time to get to the gate. Only downside is the price, $55.00...but then it is at the airport...so what do you expect. read more

Had a 3 hour layover so thought why not get a massage and it was a great idea I got the Full body massage by John, after sitting on a plane for 3.5 hours, it was exactly what I needed! 4stars isn't based on quality it's based on price it is a little pricey but it is in the airport so... $120 for 60mins... but honestly it felt amazing! Splurged on a 45 minute seaweed facial at the Terminal A location on a recent Friday evening. I was offered a massage chair while waiting, which only took about 10 minutes. I have sensitive skin - which can be a gamble when getting a facial - but Xpress Spa's products were not irritating in the slightest, which was wonderful! The facial included a scalp, neck, collarbone, arm and hand massage. The pressure exerted by the cosmetologist was a little intense, but it was a great massage otherwise. She was so sweet and friendly, too, and very intuitive to my needs/mood. The 45 minute facial is definitely pricey - $95 before tip - but you're aware of the cost up front as it's on their services menu. I'd definitely go back and recommend Xpress Spa's services to others if you have a couple hours to kill before a flight. read more

I had a HORRIBLE experience at this Xpress Spa. My flight was delayed, so I decided to go to this spa to get a wax. When I first walked in, I was greeted and told there would be a short wait. I was instructed to sit in the massage chair while waiting. The massage chair was very relaxing. When the lady came back from break, it was time for my wax. I got my chin waxed and the first application was VERY hot, I made a noise due to the heat and told the lady that it was hot. She told me sorry and after the removal of that wax application with the strip, I figured she would be more careful with the next application. The next application was just as hot and I told her oh my gosh, that is hot. She apologized again. Of course, she still had to remove the wax with the strip. After the second application, she was finished. When she didn't offer me a mirror, I should have known I was in trouble. I paid my $20 and went back to my gate. I felt a tingling sensation. When I took a seat at the gate, I took out my camera to take a selfie and I was shocked. I had red burns all across my chin. I immediately began crying and walked back to the "Spa". I told the lady that she burned me. She said, no it is just red, I said no, these are burns! She said do you want your money back, what do you want me to do. I told her yes, I want my money back, but look at what you did! I was flying to a different city for an INTERVIEW and I KNEW this would leave a large scab. The other lady that was working was VERY kind and apologized and provided me with the number to the corporate office. I called and had to send pictures of my injury. I received an email on April 7th requesting images and other information in regards to my visit. I sent the pictures immediately and sent a picture from day 2 (April 8th). I was VERY embarrassed when I went to my interview 2 days after this happened because my chin had scabs and there was NO hiding it. I followed up and was informed that the female that did my wax received training in regards to waxing safety and protocols. My last email was sent to the company on April 12th. I received an email today April 28th stating that I would be receiving a refund check today because it was sent overnight. I would NEVER go back here and would like everyone to be EXTRA careful. I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. The female that did my wax HAD to have seen my injuries before I left and did not say anything to me. Trying to create a peaceful spa experience in an international airport is certainly a challenge, and although Xpress Spa is trying, I don't think they've nailed it yet. The business is located in one of those spaces, connected directly the main walkway of the terminal, with one side completely open to the outside noise and traffic. The soothing spa Muzak that would a regular spa would have at volume 1, is set to about 4 at Xpress Spa to try and mask the outside noise. The noise situation isn't improved by the mechanical massage chairs that rumble and beep. Most everything happens in a single main room (they do have a private room for full-body massages), so while being kneaded you can observe people making retail purchases and waiting for their turns. There were only two employees during my visit, and they struggled with juggling the sales and appointment-making while also trying to do treatments. Xpress Spa is a reasonable choice if you are stuck in the airport with time to kill, and you understand the limitations business like this. read more

Worst massage of my life. I am not normally someone to write to customer service emails about poor service but in all of the years I've been getting massages and personal care treatments I have never had an experience similar to yesterday. The male masseuse who I am pretty sure didn't go to any sort of massage school basically just poked some fingers and elbows at me for 15 minutes. On top of that I felt super uncomfortable that as part of a back and neck massage in an upright chair, his hands made their way down past my hips and that several times he had my hands graze him inappropriately. I didn't say anything while there because I was late for a flight and didn't have time to get into it with a manager but I am left never wanting to return to an xpress spa ever again. I would like to hope that this sort of thing was a one-off but I'm no world was that ever worth $40. read more
