Yes....another franchised massage establishment but it's been well worth it. I initially joined the membership on the other side of town but the location closed. I had several sessions remaining which is what led me to this location and boy what a Godsend. I wanted deep tissue and booked my appointment with Dee! Man!!!! I think she's a rarity! Deep tissue is exactly what I got. This lady had me feeling things never felt during a deep tissue massage but I know my muscles needed the treatment. I recovered nicely after hydrating and relaxing which led me right back here for another session. Dee came through again with everything my muscles needed. At the end she reminded me to stretch more and get my water intake up because she could feel that I had been slacking! I needed that reminder. Thanks Dee. See you in a few weeks. read more

XIN is a incredible massage therapist! She has deep knowledge of the body, and muscle structure. I have had massages all over the US, as Southlake is my 16th move, to include hotels, and resorts I have had massage at. She is fantastic! Has given myself, and my husband many massage treatments when we have had muscle strain, and injuries. She is incredibly strong, and knows just what to do to give you relief. I sent a cancellation form in May with the proper form where they acknowledged it and I'm still being charged! be very Leary of their membership as there is no response! I will have to seek counsel and have my credit card dispute this. The therapist are right out of school so not as trained as they should be so I cancelled. if you have neck issues, don't go there. read more

UPDATE: the manager called back and offered a second massage appointment for free with a new therapist to see if it's a better experience. I went back about a week later and it was by far one of the BEST massages I've had in a long time. I was so thrilled and will definitely be back! I had a massage yesterday that I was long looking forward to. It was unfortunately not a great experience. I had requested a full body massage mainly for relaxation. We started around 9:50 (my apt was 9:45) and the therapist started out very talkative which I usually don't mind a little bit of but she talked all about things going on in her personal life for most of the session. As a social worker I didn't love that my 1 hour to myself ended up feeling like I was in my job. She failed to do my legs, scalp or face and dug into my neck leaving me with a terrible headache that I still have 24 hours later. She also ended before 10:30 leaving me with well under an hour of a massage. I've been to Elements Massage in other states but unfortunately will probably be looking for another spot here in Texas. read more

Since I have been having a lot of back and knee pains from the constant sitting and standing at work, a friend got me a Groupon to try at this place! I had my massage tonight, and since it was my first massage ever, they recommended I get a medium/firm pressure, Swedish therapeutic massage. That is exactly what I did! When I first walked in, I was wondering how I would be able to lay there for 90 minutes (ah, I might be a little ADHD :) ), but my gosh, it was great. I can finally lay down without my back killing me! Shelly was my therapist, and made sure to make it a relaxing, beneficial massage. She even took the time to write instructions down at the end on some stretches and other things I can do to improve my lower back and knee pain! read more

I am extremely upset and disappointed with this establishment. Less than a month ago, July 4th, my fiancé and I lost my Daughter. The past few weeks have been extremely difficult for both my fiancé and me emotionally, mentally, physically and financially. . To try to alleviate the the stress I booked my fiancé a 90 minute massage with a 3+ rated masseuse. I knew she had pains and needed strong hands to get in there - a therapeutic massage. As advertised. I was first put off by the lady at the counter who, when I handed her the $100 bill for the $99 massage said "I take tips so I'll just keep the dollar". I over looked this as just bad manners as I wanted my fiancé to have a healing experience and I was not going to make a stink over $1. After staring at her for awhile, she sighed and opened the door of the register to give me my dollar. I told her to keep It The massage was 100% unprofessional. After asking my fiancé what brought her in today, and she replied stress from a death in the family, the masseuse flipped it to be about himself and proceeded to talk about his stress because he recently broke up with his girlfriend. During the course of the massage, he kept talking about his ex girlfriend and their break up. Asking my fiancé, because she was a female, for advice. He asked her her birthdate then made comments about her astrological sign and how it was the same as his ex girlfriends. He then started talking about his band he is into which led to his love for the sexual musician Prince. This lead into Micheal Jackson, James Brown and conspiracy theories surrounding their deaths (and the numbers involved). Mind you, my fiancé was trying to get help because of dealing with a death in her own family. After asking my fiancé what she used to release stress, to which she replied 'comedy' he gave my fiancé advice as to which comedians he thought were good. My fiancé is reserved and far to polite to ask the masseuse to stop talking. (She later said to me she felt like his therapist as he kept asking her questions and advice on how to deal with his breakup/ex girlfriend.) Also, Every time he started talking about something, he would stop massaging. Then resume when my fiancé gave him short, or one word answers. I asked my fiancé if the masseuse went deep enough and she said no. She kept telling him deeper but he would not comply with her request. It is inappropriate and unprofessional to be a masseuse talking about your stresses and problems while on the clock. These conversations may seem innocent enough, but she was there to be healed and massaged, not to make new friends or gossip. The masseuse even would apologize for talking so much and say things like "Ok. Ok. I get it. I'm sorry, let's get back to your massage". I find it even more highly inappropriate to be talking about a 1. brand new breakup with your girlfriend 2. Prince 3. Zodiac signs 4. what my fiancé 'uses' to release stress. ALL while touching a my fiancé's virtually naked body. (I used to use some of those exact lines in my hay day.) I am, at this point, willing to consider the masseuse is just really lost and hurting - but then he should not be at work. Especially if he cannot separate business from pleasure. My fiancé is nice and will talk to people. He took advantage of her kindness when she needs healing. This is not the time or place for gossip and chit chat. It is the time for therapeutic massage. My fiancé went into the back room for her massage at 1:01 for her appointment. When I came back at 2:25 she was dressed and waiting for me in the waiting room and had been waiting for around 5 minutes for me. I paid for a 90 minute massage. Not delivered. This place offers therapeutic massage. What they don't say is you are the therapist for the masseuse. In conclusion, this place was rude, unprofessional, a waste of money I don't have but was willing to spend to help my fiancé, cheated on the massage length and was on the verge of being inappropriate with my fiancé. As I said at the beginning, I am EXTREMELY upset and disappointed. They advertise THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE: Therapeutic massage is a general term that describes any type of massage modality that helps relieve pain, reduce stress, and work on a specific problem--such as a frozen shoulder. People tend to assume therapeutic massage means deep tissue massage, and that they will get a very strong massage. My fiancé felt uncomfortable at times and never felt relaxed. I will provide updates when my wife gets her massage***** I had a Groupon for this parlor that I used to book a special day for my wife for Valentine's Day, she has a lot of stress from work and she needs a level 4 pressure masseuse. So I had a date booked for Feb. 6th and she was looking forward to it. However I got a call today (the DAY BEFORE) saying that we would have to reschedule, I don't have much of a problem with this at all being that something could have happened with the masseuse. Although, it seems like it could be another whole week before she can get her massage since they have NO Level 4's available from what she was telling me. Even though she has not had the massage yet, I'm pretty disappointed and my wife is very upset because she was looking forward to her day of pampering for Valentine's Day. We will get the massage but I'm not sure we will be back anytime soon, even if the massage is good. read more

I went here because there was a groupon deal, most reviews seemed decent, and I really, really needed a massage - thankfully they had an open time slot. The place itself is nice enough - clean, professional, comparable to other massage chains like Massage Envy, etc. The massage I received was a bit of a letdown - not terrible, but barely average, and I was ready for it to be over when it was (something that has never, and should never, happen in a spa setting.) When the desk receptionist asked how my experience was, I told them it was okay and paid for the service. They tried to get me to rebook, and I told them I would not be doing so; however, they still tried really hard to get me to join their club/get a membership, which I had to deny multiple - and I mean multiple - times before they stopped asking. I suppose this place might be worth a try if you get the right massage therapist. As for myself, I will be unlikely to return. read more

I recently bought 6 massage from Elements Massage Southlake as Christmas presents for the whole family. I set up appointments and took each member in to get them relaxed for the holidays. Everyone LOVED their massage! The staff was super helpful at the front desk and give you all sorts of options for your perfect therapist. Some of my family members get massages every other week and they were impressed with the quality of service with their therapist. I got a massage too and my guy knew exactly what he was doing! I recently had a dermatology procedure on my face and it was red. I told the receptionist then the therapist took me to the treatment room where he said he would not preform the massage. He did not ask me a single question about my procedure or about me. He told me it would hurt.. he didn't even ASK if it hurt and by the way it does not hurt at all. He said circulating the blood would be bad for me, however circulating blood actually increases the body's healing ability. I understand if he was unsure however he should have asked me a question or two and I would have told him I was cleared to have a massage. The FDA mandates that any potential contraindications be communicated to patients and a massage certainly is not one. I have a strong medical background and would ave been able to explain this to him if he would have even bothered to ask me. I am going through a lot right now and have not been sleeping as my body is so sore. I thought the massage would be able to assist me in having a good nights sleep. If he asked me some questions or interacted with me at all, the situation may still have been the same, he may have not felt comfortable preforming the massage and that would be ok however I would not be feeling the way I am, However I'm left crying and even more stressed. I feel very hurt, upset and discriminated against due to my appearance and medical situation. I would not recommend this center to anyone. I REALLY NEED A MASSAGE!!! read more

May is simply amazing. I've had my membership for 4+ years and was about to cancel it. The massage therapist I love is never available and the few others that I've tried have been alright but not good enough to go back. I decided to try May and I'm SO HAPPY I did. However i felt like I was being pushed to purchase a big package of massages at the end even though i expressed many times I couldnt afford it. I visted the elements spa after buying a groupon. The massage was nice and relaxing so of course they suckered me into buying a contract the next day i decided to cancel because the location was not convenient well that did not prevent them for charging for a massage for sept and oct 59.00 each. I forgot i had the massages available. When I went today to redeem one of my massages they said they had expired. so I paid 120.00 for nothing. I will be contacting the BBB on this one. That is ridiculous Comment to Davids response: There was no verbal notice that I had 30 days to use the massages on a written notice. Like I told David its a poor way to conduct your business to take someones money and not get anything out of it. After reading other reviews from other customers, I'm glad to see I am not alone in my complete disappointment in this "spa". Received a gift card for a massage. Created an account online and requested an appointment days before my requested time. Arrived for my appointment and was told that the appointment request was not received. The receptionist acted as if that had never happened before and had no idea how to fix it. Not very comforting considering I wanted a massage to relax and ended up leaving more stressed than ever. I have no interest in utilizing this gift card and wouldn't give it away as a gift and subject someone else to it. It will probably go in the trash. read more

I did not have a good experience. I used a groupon and was able to get a next day appointment. Prior to the massage , I asked to have lavender oil used and the massage therapist stated she was allergic so could not use oils. I then stared it was freezing in the room. Although the atmosphere seems nice, the staff there were unfriendly to say the least. It was my first time at this particular place and I'm diffidently not going back again. The receptionists working at the front office were not helpful or professional at all. And my personal massage therapist, Amber, was rude, arrogant, and condescending. The therapeutic massage I received was decent at best, but she made me uncomfortable and put me on edge the entire time. Not an enjoyable experience at all. However, if you still decide to give this place a try, DO NOT request her unless you'd like to waste a good deal of money on a horrible experience. I booked my appointment about a week ago online, and I just showed up for my appointment which I had a confirmation email for and was told that I was suddenly on the "waitlist" and that I had been called and notified (spoiler- I hadn't been called.) When I showed the girl my confirmation email she started apologizing that she didn't know why I had received it and that they had been having "trouble with their system" and was trying to rebook me which I declined. When I drive 40 minutes to go to a confirmed appointment only to to be turned away for ridiculous reasons, I can guarantee you I'm never spending 1 cent at your business. Absolutely unprofessional. There's about a million spas in the DFW area that I am more than happy to patron rather than this dump. read more
