They have some specialty items as well and honestly some of their meats are very competitively priced with the larger stores in Concord. Yes, you're going to definitely pay more for some items, but most items are not much more than at the supermarket. The Deli is really, very good. The subs, wraps, and breakfast sandwiches are very tasty. Love the steak & cheese omelette bomb on a spinach or tomato & basil wrap! The use top quality Thumann's deli meats and their salads; ham, tuna, chicken, pasta, chef, and regular tossed; are good as well. They even have single serving cheese cakes, puddings like rice, vanilla, chocolate, etc, apple or blueberry cobbler, jello, brownies, and more for desserts. I stop at this Shell station/7-Eleven (formerly a Tedeschi Food Shop) since it's conveniently located off I-93 Exit 5, easy off-easy on most of the time (the left turn out can be tricky during peak times). This 24 hour convenience store/gas station offers the standard convenience store items including snacks, candy, cold drinks, limited grocery items, newspapers, magazines, lottery tickets, smokes, plus a full service deli counter (and grab & go items-I get a ham & cheese sub and a potato salad!) and a Honey Dew Donuts counter (I like their baked goods, coffee okay). The gas prices here used to be stable before it was taken over by 7-Eleven, usually not the cheapest gas prices in the area, competitive pricing with the other two gas stations on the other side of I-93.

He then called another man who was about to walk out of the store back in and whispered something to him who then looked at me. I asked him what was going on and he said to me, "I have to watch everybody" i didnt take it any further because I did not want to be further embarrassed. Next time when there was nobody in the store and I asked him why he embarrassed me like that. He played dumb at first then repeated his same remark. I asked him what that means in relation to me. He told me if I am not comfortable not to shop there anymore. Astonished I asked for his name and store number. He lied to me saying the store number was on the front door. After looking and seeing it wasnt there I said you lied to me, he answered yes. Then he told me that he is not comfortable with me and that I am no longer allowed in the store and he can refuse service to anyone he wants because he is the owner and everybody knows him!!! I am a 30 year old woman who did not deserve to be treated like this. I left feeling defeated and on my walk home felt so violated that I cried. This man has no business operating his own store.

I go here to buy milk. I never buy anything else, because everything else is ridiculously…read moreoverpriced (ok, once, after drinking, I stumbled in for chips and salsa in the middle of the night. I appreciate that I can do that). But it is nice, when I just want milk, to be able to stop in on my way home. I typically buy the small containers of non-fat milk. Unfortunately, most of the time when I try that at Tedeschi, the containers are only a day before the sell-by date. I can't drink an entire carton of milk in one or two days. So, I often have to buy the bigger cartons and throw away half of it (cereal just doesn't use a lot of milk, unless you're doing the Special K challenge). Anyway, today I went in - and all of the small non-fat milk cartons have a sell-by date of August 1. It's August 7. They're selling rotten milk. I told the woman behind the counter, and she shrugged, and said, "Sometimes we don't sell them." Never buy milk here without checking the sell-by date.
