I am so glad I called AutoGlass Discounters next. I called them, they answered immediately,and then we made an appointment for a day later, fitting with my availability. They gave me a quote on the spot for my Honda Civic's rear quarter panel replacement and checked to see they had it in stock. They let me know they'd meet me at my house. The day of the appointment, they called me to say they could come earlier to my house if I wanted, which was great, though I kept the original time due to my availability. The repairperson Thomas was very prompt, very polite and professional. He easily found the meeting spot I asked him to meet me at. It was a very hot summer day, and we were in the dead of the sun, but Thomas made it go by easy by being so well-natured and making me laugh. He fixed the quarter panel and reassembled everything back together again and vacuumed out the broken glass from the back of my car. Tom came to my house (from the Penn Hills office) and repaired the chip, vacuumed my car, and cleaned all my windows in under 20 minutes. The cost wound up being 100% covered, but the quoted price I received was very reasonable as well. I will definitely be calling them for any issues in the future.

Safelite was "cheaper" but booked out for a week. Many of the places were 4-7 days to get in for a repair.. we had an accident and our window shattered, we were gearing up to go on vacation 2 days later.. we were in a panic. These guys got us right in the next day and told us to come by the evening before to store our vehicle so that it would not get hit by rain. Classy!! They were fast, simple and easy! I did have to call later in the day to see if the van was ready so likely a busy spot and it's worth following up on your own. Not a fancy pants spot so if you need special attention and glamorous waiting areas you may prefer a different place. As far as I am concerned the work, the turn around time and the cost is deserving of 5 stars!!! So grateful for these folks! They saved our biscuits big time! I would use them again.
