Day of service and my tech was Horhay who was knowledgeable and mindful before entering into his work. After installation of the inverter cable from battery to rear of the cab he took me through his work sharing what he did and why. We also discussed the scope of what would be required for a future install of the "Big 3" and I left grateful at the competency I'd just experienced. Ok update Leah had everything fixed in about 1.5 hours. Changed head units that works good now evidently something came unplugged that's why the door locks did not work Leah is really nice she fixed everything was very apologetic in her defense she was not there that day it was her day off so she did not personally QC my vehicle like she did today and everything is fine

BIG MISTAKE, now three-ish years into the ordeal. They couldn't make the simple initial Kenwood…read morestereo install function properly, so swapped it out for a Pioneer and a "dash kit". Turns out the kit that was installed was a dual something or other, when it should have been a single. Learned this from an external diagnosis for malfunctioning HVAC control (I would get heat in summer and air in winter). Apparently these dash kits are known to have "issues". The Pioneer sporadically crashes out and reboots itself... or doesn't. CarPlay often fails. The reverse camera (I believe related to dash kit) is still very dark. I could go on. So three-ish years later - and frequent contacts/visits to problem solve without costing me anymore than the $2,000 or so initially put into this nightmare, come to find out that the Pioneer was installed "off the books" and therefore NO WARRANTY. And no records period prior to October 2025 due to not-so-ironic bankruptcy. They have thrown their hands in the air and given me a printout for how to reboot the system myself (which only lasts for so long), and puts the onus on me. I can't speak to the new ownership in Washington, but I strongly advise against taking a costly gamble with Silverdale CarToys. Shout-out to the Salem, Oregon location -- who unfortunately can't do anything with this mess, but have given some valuable insight and advice.

I don't have any radio controls on my steering wheel. My backup camera only works when it wants to and It's been having a constant whine in the speakers after about one month. I didn't bring it back because the guy had an attitude, not the owner. He was pretty cool but the other guy if I remember right he used to work for sound Auto and that used to be not the best place to go to. So I just left it alone. I've had this issue now with everything on my car that I've listed and I will just take it somewhere else. They charged me over $500 just to put in my original radio. That was a rip-off when you lost everything that you had in there. The guy even came out and told me only after he installed it that I will no longer have any controls for the radio in the steering wheel and the Blu-ray or whatever call that TV thing in the back. Why didn't he tell me that way before he started? That is the question.
