#ThankYouThursday My normal car wash is closed so thankful that Xtreme is open during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is fast and convenient, but a little pricey depending on which package you choose. They do have a club you can join to get special offers and pricing per month. My only complaint is that after the wash you usually have to wait to get into a spot to dry and vacuum. Due to Covid not all the bays are open and people are not respecting the time limit to dry and vacuum and leave. Some people also don't read and pull into the spot that is blocked off for Covid. They also like to honk at the people in line ahead of them, or in the stalls. The wash is ok, but did not get all the bugs and sap off. The vacuums work pretty well and there are plenty of towels to put the finishing touch on drying your car. But sine you are doing most of the work, I think the prices are out of line compared to full service car washes. read more

They DAMAGED my vehicle and the manager denied the entire thing (he wasn't even there when it happened) On September 19th, 2020 at 8:15am, their car wash damaged the rear left rim of my car. Clear as day. The employee working there directed the left wheels of my car into a track that pulled the car through the wash. Upon exit, I felt a "bump" in the rear as the track pushed me out (the car has staggered wheels that are wider in the rear than the front, so this might have been an issue) When I came out and checked the car to finish the cleaning process, the rear left wheel had fresh paint damage along the edge of the rim. I showed it to the attending employee and he agreed it was the wash, and apologized, then took my information down to have his manager contact me on Monday. Today is Monday. The manager called me and denied the whole thing, and said it was impossible. Basically called me a liar. But it happened and I recorded the damage on video immediately. The car is brand new and has zero damage otherwise, not even a paint swirl or scratch. I park it in a garage only, so the damage to the wheel has no other possible explanation even if the car wash wasn't so obvious (you don't even see curb rash on left (driver) side wheels because that's not the side people parallel park on anyways) It's so obviously their fault, but I'm not sure it's worth small claims court. I just feel wronged. I just can't believe a business would treat a customer like this. Do not go here, an $8 wash is not worth a $200 repair. read more

$7 per standard car wash or $14.99/month for unlimited car washes, which is a great price and works perfect for me because it's only a couple miles from my house. However, if I didn't live as close as I do, I would definitely not go out of my way to get my car washed here. The business hours show open until 9:00pm, but there's a sign out front of the drive thru that shows 7am-7pm... although the hours are even more limited than that. More often than not, I'll drive through for a quick car wash (within their displayed hours of operation) and they have either cones blocking the entrance or a sign put up to reflect that it's currently not open... not sure if it's because only one employee is working and is on lunch break, but it's pretty inconvenient that it happens so often. The car wash itself is mediocre at best and has never completely dried my car - I'm always left with a big stream of water across my windshield. Luckily, near the drive thru exit is self-service vacuum stations that have towels for wiping down your car. This is included in the monthly, unlimited membership fee, but good luck trying to find an open spot/vacuum. They do not monitor who uses the vacuums, which means when paying customers go to use it, they are all taken by people who aren't paying and are taking advantage of the unsupervised stations. read more

This is a terrible place and I got ripped off. BEWARE. I stop in today to treat myself to the $30.00 deluxe package where someone supposedly cleans the inside and out and gives it a buff wax, called the X-treme package. I should have known something was up when I got there, there wasnt a staff person there to explain things so I made payment using their machine at the entrance and the machine didnt give me a receipt. Then when I finally got a receipt from the staff member, he told me to go thru the car wash and dry and vacuum my own car. I did this, not understanding and Confused why no one was coming over to me to help. Once I was done using their poor suction vac and drying my car, I went back to the entrance where there was now another man, who was far more helpful but not be much. I told him I bought the Xtreme package and he looked surprised. He went to speak to the other guy and at first they said they would detail my car now, but within minutes they changed their mind and said something was broken so they would give me a refund, which I was ok with. Unfortunately the refund was only $13.00. I paid $30.00 and got their $8.00 car wash and the only human that touched my car, was me. My refund should have been the balance of $22.00 The person who was helpful told me he was the detailer and I watched him drive away and that one staff member was again no where to be found. Easy place to stop and go to fill up, cashiers are polite and helpful, area isn't that scary for a gas station even at night lol they have diesel and prices are usually on the lower to medium end here, not high in my experience. Car wash was really decent! And cheap.. all start off with a wet down from two guys at the entrance of the actual wash entrance. I'm thinking of getting a monthly membership too.. the free vacuums and drying rags to use after the wash really make it my go-to/one-stop spot to get my cars cleaned when I have a free hour or two :) definitely give this place a shot if you happen to pass by. read more

Not anymore, 1 guy , cruddy scrub, cruddy 5 cent air freshener, and if those are the things that are obvious, who knows what else, less water , less soap, less time in the wash? I don't go to a lot of machine carwash places like this. It's pretty solid. The debris and bird poo that was on my car was all gone. There is very little human contact on the washing aspect until you're vacuuming and drying out parts of your car. And, it's affordable $17 is not a bad deal at all. I would recommend this place for affordability and really quick wash. read more

Meh. :-/ My car really needed a cleaning. I read the reviews, and thought it was worth it. But... it wasn't. For $16 ($18?), it really should've produced a cleaner car, especially since a guy pre-scrubbed it before it went into the auto-wash. Sadly, my car still had bug stuff on it (mostly on the back, but some on the front and sides). The reason I'm willing to give 2 stars is because it was nice to have the vacuums and rags for free after the wash. With the rags, I was able to scrub off the rest of the bug stuff that was stuck on my car, and also dry off the windows so they wouldn't spot. My fav thing about this carwash was the free vacuums that I could use as long as I wanted to. With all the dog hair and kid stuff, I appreciated not being limited to a certain amount of time. The first vacuum I grabbed didn't have much suction, so I put it back; the second vacuum I grabbed had awesome suction, so I used it on both sides of my car. read more

Well, I've waited until my blood pressure calmed down a bit before writing this review. WOW! What a joke this place is. If you can avoid interacting with the staff you'll have a 4 star experience, which is what others have reviewed, if you must go inside you're about to know what you're up against. This place needs a tutorial on signage, advertising and common courtesies. After driving through the car wash yesterday I told my husband about this place. Lots of vacuums, recycled water and complementary towels to dry your car. All sounds great! With a monthly membership of unlimited washes for $14.99 it seems pretty hard to beat. So, I had piqued his interest enough for him to go check it out. At the kiosk it says $15 wash, he purchased it and was then told that the membership was different and he had to go inside in order to purchase that... but it was late afternoon and the manager wasn't there to assist with this transaction. He was told that it would be easy fix. He was instructed to come back the next day, ask for the manager and he would refund the money, and would be given the membership for future washes. That being yesterday afternoon, I took the receipt, went to the place, explained the situation to José, the clerk inside, and he proceeded to refund me for yesterday's purchase and then had me fill out the membership for the monthly billing information. Upon beginning this transaction with him I stated that this was for my husband's car, but I would put it on my credit card. Meanwhile working at a sloth's speed, 30 min later- José, charged me the money, refunded yesterday's transaction, processed the paperwork and then was giving me the sticker for the monthly membership. When he asked me where my car was I reminded him that the car in which the membership was being purchased for was not at the station since it was for my husband's vehicle. Apparently, listening is not a habit for this individual since I heard the manager specify twice during my time inside for him to post signs on the vacuums that they were out of order yet, he still asked questions and seemed keenly bewildered at the manager's directive. After waiting inside and patiently being kept in the queue while 7 people were helped. I was getting impatient. The manager, Hee, then arrived and told me that they could not give me the sticker to place on my husband's vehicle. They are the only ones who can adhere it to the window of the car "because that's just what they do". I then asked, "why does it matter if it's you, me, or someone else who adheres it to the window if it is tamper resistant and I have paid for it?" People have been given far more valuable and expensive monthly permits to adhere to their own car windows ( my downtown SD parking permit with in/out privileges comes to mind). But apparently that's too risky for them. Wouldn't want people swapping and stealing $6 car washes with that sticker. Since I had paid for a service and membership and they had not only waisted my time but would not give me the sticker. I opted to cancel the entire enrollment. They were going to keep all of my credit card and personal info 'out' until my husband could come pick up the pass and they could adhere it themselves. WTF?!? If this had been disclosed to me ahead of time and had been done so in a professional manner I would have tolerated this silly procedural breakdown. But, I said forget it. I'll tell my husband to just come in and deal with this whole bollocksed up car wash membership himself. I left with my $15 refund, a full tank of gas and a headache from dealing with rude incompetent people. Then while walking back to my car the manager exited the gas station shouting "Miss, you need to give us the refund back!". WTF #2?!? After the manager proceeded to raise his voice at me in the middle of the parking lot, I wondered... what is the reason for a business being run this way, it's lunacy? The manager is chasing a woman into a parking lot, yelling at her to return a $15 refund which the incompetent employee refunded her, because he does not know proper protocol, he does not know how to handle menial transactions which, I imagine, should be rote by this point in his daily work load? I am so disappointed by what I experienced here. I was nearly in tears in the parking lot. Embarrassed and so disappointed with these people. Why is it so challenging for people to just listen? I came to give YOU, the business, money. I spent $40 on gas and wanted to purchase 2 monthly car wash memberships and YOU THE BUSINESS, treat me with complete disrespect, chase me and then yell at me in public?!? Shame on you Hee and shame on you José. I hope others don't have the experience which I had. You should take pride in the job that you do and treat all people with respect and kindness. Excellent service! They hose off your car And scrub your wheels before the car goes in. Then complementary vacuums and rags to finish off what didn't get dried. I don't know why there's not better reviews for this place they make sure that your car is going into the car wash clean and Eric C. Gives absolutely great customer service! Next I'm going to try their wax detail car thing after the car wash and I will update my review. Oh and I forgot about the complementary air freshener also! So that's great Customer Service ! Complementary vacuum! And Complementary air fresheners! And the personalized Customer Service I get from Eric C. Is unmatched from anywhere I have been. He saw that one of my lense covers had yellowed & rubbed it out in no time flat! Well I have now gone through the wax detail side and believe me I wish I never did. the one star is for employees. There would be no stars for the owner/manager. My car was scratched recently and got a small dent on hood, also long brush scratches on both sides of back side panels and multiple scratches on both sides of the car. Damage was reported immediately to employee and I asked him to fill out incident report. Was told that manager is not there on week-ends and I have to wait til Monday. When manager was shown damage on Monday, he said it is "impossible" that car wash caused damage and that he was "the expert on his business". He insisted that I go through my car insurance and did not supply his insurance or other contact information, despite me giving ours. Please see other reports of very similar pattern of owner not taking any responsibility for damages, refusing to provide info, avoiding customer follow up and stating that it is "impossible". I asked him if he was part of a franchise (Mobil) and he said "I don't know". Damage to repair cost me $400. If I went through my insurance it would have been considered "collision" despite car being in an autmated car wash and it would have affected the car's vehicle history and insurance rates, causing me to lose more money. So this "expert" was wrong on that too. I have witnesses, records and photos and this complaint will be filed at the state attorney general's office, the california office of consumer affairs, better business bureau, AAA insurance, chamber of commerce and will be posted on other social media to warn others about the pattern of this manager neglecting to pay for damages caused by car wash. If manager refuses to pay I will take this LLC to small claims court, which is the next step. It is not fair for other customers to experience this. If the owner/manager chooses to comment on YELP, then unless he is going to put in writing that he will pay $400 in full for damages, there is no need to comment. I have seen other comments by manager "no one is perfect" "I will do better next time", but you will notice that if it comes to money, the manager/owner has refused to take responsibility, whether it's a simple refund, car damage, membership issues, etc. VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES, and am sorry for the employees. read more

They were very friendly, and offered me a second (upgraded) wash for free when I complained about some bugs that were still on my windshield. This type of customer service will ensure they have a loyal customer. Also, the vacuum station has an awesome tool that blows strong air into small crevices to remove dust particles. Came by here yesterday again since I currently have the unlimited car wash with them. They let me down today though and it's not the first time. Recently they seem to be struggling to keep their vacuums and air hoses in check. Not long ago, the air hoses weren't even functioning. Yesterday, the vacuums weren't even having much suction power so when I tried to clean the dog fur out of my car, it was not very helpful at all. I wasn't expecting a 5 star detailed car wash from this place to begin with but I was hoping they'd at least maintain the maintenance and ensure everything works properly here. I'm going to keep giving them a chance for now since they are right around the corner from where I live but if they keep showing me that they cannot maintain their performance and continue to display a lack of care then I'll be going somewhere else. 0 stars if I could. Brought my new car in to get rinsed off, thought my dog would enjoy going through the car wash, came out and there's a big scratch on the side. Ok, so I bring it to their attention, dude comes out accusing me right off the bat of lying, describes the ~4" long scratch as "microbial" (idiot) and sends me off to fill out a claim for their manager to read eventually. This turd also put his hands all over my car and didn't wipe them off until I insisted. I just washed my car you think I want your nasty hand prints all over it? Anyway, I'll hear back from them, eventually, maybe. Fact of the matter is the wash SUCKED anyway. Water stains everywhere, didn't get off even the lightest stains. I don't think it cleaned it any more than throwing a bucket of water over the car would've. So of course I'll never come back here again unless they ignore my claim and I have to call in the big homies. I would definitely recommend not putting your car in these hands. Let's be honest. A business like a car wash seems to get 5 stars or 1 star depending on if your car got hit in the parking lot or not. It's very hard to get an over the top experience from a drive thru/self service type place, also it seems equally as hard to really screw things up yourself and put that down in a review. Xtreme is a basic quick wash and in that respect is "A-OK" for sure. The self service vacuums and towels get the 4th star from me as this allows you to make sure the car is clean to your liking...and still get out the door only $6-$8 lighter. read more
