It's never good when you have to post an update the very next day after posting a five star view, but I feel a retraction is warranted in this case. As I mentioned previously, I'm not expecting a perfect job because the cost is reasonable, but I am expecting the interior to at least look like it was attempted to be cleaned. I would even be willing to pay a little bit more for a halfway decent job on the interior, but that's not an option that is offered. I've been here 3 or 4 times and this was the laziest I've ever had this place clean my car. I believe the attendant who was vacuuming it was the nephew of the owner. I'm officially done coming here. My wife warned me they didn't do a great job and suggested I try the Shell station instead, but I wanted to support a local business here in Vista. Unfortunately, after giving them four chances, I have to agree -- the attention to detail just isn't there. I keep my car very clean, so there isn't much to vacuum. The one area I repeatedly asked them to focus on was the small space between the seat and the center console. It's a minor detail, but those little things matter. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable -- I'm asking them to take care of the areas I specifically point out. The exterior comes out fine, but the interior is where they lose me. It's like getting a haircut and they forget to clean up the hair around your neck afterward -- the small details are what make the customer feel taken care of. After four attempts, I feel like my car is coming back dirtier inside instead of cleaner. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this place. The change tray, big tray and cup holders, also the shift skirt, I called one back and told him. He said I had to pay extra for that! I said I didn't know, how much extra? I checked the website so I could decide what service I wanted before I got there, the prices don't match what's actually posted! $55 for a wax online and then you show up and it's $69??? Never mind the giant sign out front that says you get an early bird discount (for half the week 2 hours a day of course) and then that only covers anything that has the word 'wash'? The wax includes a wash but doesn't count because it's not in the name itself. It's also sad to see how the workers are treated, as soon as you drive up you can see their water cooler is cracked nearly all the way through. It gets HOT out here what is a broken cooler gonna do? I made the mistake of coming here again. I should've known better, but it's the closest hand car wash to my house. If you have an "oversize" vehicle, they act like you're inconveniencing them. I drive a Ford F-150 with a shell -- nothing unusual -- yet they treated it like a problem. On top of that, oversize vehicle charges aren't clearly listed, so it feels like they just make up a price on the spot. Customer service overall is poor. The manager, David, especially makes you feel like just another number rather than a customer. Definitely not a welcoming experience. read more

Absolutely disappointed I paid 55 dollars for this car wash. I never leave reviews as you can see but this was just a slap in the face I purchased the Santa Fe car wash which is 45 dollars. I tipped 10 and this is what I got. Mind you I cleaned the side doors of receipts and other things I had. Do not waste your money and get a simple ass wash of 18 dollars or go to your monthly car wash that you have a membership with and do it yourself even better. I just left from his car wash, I purchased the works. The guy that I purchased from said this would include wiping down of the interior, thorough vacuum and cleaning of my mats. My car looks atelier any different than before the wash. The surface of the interior we're clearly not wipe down, they are covered in dust and dog hair still. The mats for definitely not cleaned it anyway they look exactly how they were before. And they finished this entire cleaning it in less than 15 minutes, which shows the minimal effort that was taken. I did not expect a full detail by any means, I do have a dog, and I understand that the dog hairs would it cost extra to remove completely. But I am very I'm very disappointed considering this cost $50 for something I could have done better myself. read more

We've been here 3 times.now. Taken two very old and very dirty vehicles to this place and they did an incredible job. The 14 yo truck has gone twice and it looks like new. Our daughter's car full of horse and barn dirt and dog hair looks incredible. Stains are gone from the fabric seats and the floors look new again. We're very impressed all 3 times there. I had an old mini truck I was selling that was all dirty, so I had them do a quick mini-detail. The guy negotiated with me a little - it was a small open car, so a little easier than a big SUV, even though technically a "truck", but he was able to help me with "how much do you want to pay?" I wanted to pay about $100, so that's what they did. The interior came out much cleaner and better looking; the outside was clean but I didn't bother with wax and polish because it's an old truck. Having the car clean was worth it when it sold! I've been here several times for the same reason - I don't tend to clean my cars much "for myself". read more

I first called to get some information on packages. The lady (cashier) was soooo rude, it seemed like she was in a bad mood and or didn't want to be there. I decided to just go in anyway since I was close by. The cashier was AS rude if not worse. Her angry / cranky face did NOT make me feel welcomed what so ever. She never said hello or thank you. I ended up getting the $20 package which apparently doesn't come with wiping down the inside (not even the steering wheel or vents!). The whole inside of my car looked untouched. And they left water by the door handle. Makes no sense why they would not wipe down the inside of the car ( besides vacuuming, which was still left dirty). The guys who "cleaned" my car were very nice but fast!!! They cleaned my car in 5-7 mins. Now it makes sense why. I later called and the cranky lady said her boss didn't want to include the wiping down in the package. That would be the $29 package or something. I've NEEVEERR been to a car wash where wiping down is not incuded. I could have gone to a $5 express wash and done the rest myself, and save me $15 bucks. If you have a work truck that needs the dirt quickly sprayed off, come here. If you're looking for a more careful/thorough wash, do not come here. My one-time experience: Saw they offered detailing services and ordered a hand wash because I don't like the machines leaving swirl/scratch marks on my car. The hand wash consisted of a 30sec spray down and a 2-3min soap sponge where they would use the same sponges to clean the inside of the rims and right afterward wipe the hood of the car. No real care. Only working for speed. After the 2min "hand wash" the hand dry was with old regular towels (not microfiber). Once they were "done" I looked around the car and still had plenty of soap and water spots. This area needs a good car wash compared to all the touchfree machine ones. Owner should upgrade the services, especially considering already premium prices. read more

For $30 you can't expect perfection. This place overall did a good job. I came here after my camping trip in the desert so my truck was covered in dirt both outside and inside. Forgot the exact package I paid for but they washed & dried the exterior(including rims), vacuumed inside, wiped down dash and door panels.
