When you find a good one it's time to share so others can benefit from my experience. We needed work on a gas furnace at our ancestral home in N. Ga. I call two servicers recommended by a neighbor. One never returned my call, the other called and said they would call me back in a couple days to schedule an appointment. Never happened! I Google'd servicers for the area and found JN Elec. Temp. Control. When I called I talked with Jennifer and explained our repair needs. Jennifer quickly responded with " I can have a technician out this afternoon around 3:30"! I jumped on this, then drove the 60 miles to the house. Around 3:15 Jennifer called me to let me know the tech would be around 30 min. later than scheduled as his current repair was running later than expected. I really appreciated JN keeping me in the time frame loop. Andrew, the JN tech, arrived at 4pm. He and I quickly discussed my problem, Andrew checked my thermostat, made sure we had gas, then accended under the house. After 30 to 40 minutes Andrew showed me pictures on his iPhone of my furnace problem. Old, many cracks, non-repairable. Andrew shut the gas off for me and scheduled a sales appointment to price a new furnace. This was a great experience, from the professional courtesy extended by Jennifer to the knowledge and detailed work Andrew performed that helped me make immediate course of action to resolve our heating needs. Well done JN! I will certainly us JN Electrical Temp again.

Tried for 6 months to get JN to come and finish a CoE dock inspection. Spoke many times with a…read morenice person in the office who always promised to pass the message along. under qualified workers that tracked mud through my house and did not respond to obvious signs that…read morea unit was going bad. followed by more under qualified technicians visiting and trying to check the broken unit without even opening it up to find where the problem was. wasted a couple weeks of my time without heat in a freezing house waiting for them just to say that they wouldn't work on the units. i gladly paid them to come out every 6 months to keep my hvac system working and in good order, but they dropped the ball as soon as real problems occurred. waste of money. if you want to be a filter changing company, then just change filters. do not waste your money like i did with this company.

Seriously great company. Our heat pump went out last night on 1 of the coldest nights of the year…read moreso far (of course!). I looked up companies on Yelp Riggins had 5 stars from everyone. My husband called them at 1:57pm. They called back at 2:02pm and the heat pump was fixed by 3:26pm. He first said that they would come by tomorrow (Friday) but then he asked my husband how old he was. When he told him that he was 82 the owner, James Riggins, said he would be right over! Super nice. Super knowledgeable. And very compassionate. I would call no one else EVER. These are the people that you want to do business with over and over again. Will recommend to everyone.

They came out to service my HVAC within a couple of days of contacting them for routine maintenance. They were super flexible and worked with my schedule. I could immediately tell that I was in some knowledgeable, trustworthy hands. Dale serviced all aspects of my AC and Heating system and took the time to show me on his multimeter that my capacitor was bad, which he deftly replaced for a more than fair price (I googled it, and saw that he charged below the price found in my search results). I mentioned that I have a huge aversion to going into the attic, where my air handler is located, so Dale threw in (and installed, at no charge) a sensor which would shut off my system in the event that my drain line was clogged, before the drain pan could overflow. This was so kind and such a great suggestion because if such a problem were to occur, I wouldn't notice until it leaked into my living space. Dale and Jennifer gave me and my teenage son lots of tips for how we can keep everything running smoothly until our next service next year. We will definitely be calling on them when we're due for maintenance again, or in the event that we have any unforeseen problems.
