I only found out about this business because it aggressively spams ads via fax machine to companies in the immediate area. (The most alarming part of this statement should be that businesses in 2016 still use fax machines.) Xtreme Healthy Café is still attached to the Xtreme Fitness center next door and has remained open in spite of the gym's closure last year. Not really a standalone restaurant, this business has managed to stay afloat by catering lunches to local businesses and by serving breakfast and lunch to Raritan Center convention attendees and employees who work on the Raritan Center campus but are too lazy to venture farther for more exciting lunch options. Because of its remote location in the desolate industrial desert that is Raritan Center, Xtreme Healthy doesn't see enough customer traffic to justify being open for dinner or even on weekends. For a fitness center café that no longer has a fitness center, the food and service are mostly passable, but there are better choices at better prices outside of Raritan Center. Unless you work nearby and enjoy bumping into coworkers, there's really no reason to ever come out of your way to eat here. read more

Vascilated between 3 and 4 stars on this. It gets 5 for the concept and interesting menu items. It got 2 for the setup. One has to walk past where one orders, all the way to the back to look at the menu, and get drinks, then back up front to order and pay. In the end, it came down to the food itself. While not bad, it's not great. It is just average. With the interesting array of ingredients in their offerings, I just felt like I should taste more flavor and more textures. read more

Decent food, but really poor service. Today I called in a three item order and was told 15 minutes. 50 minutes later my food was finally ready. When I arrived, I was told they were finishing up the order... Turns out they lost my order, and the guys in front of me. They offered me a refund... Then never gave it to me. Aside from that, the food is decent. Food comes with a side, but I got literally a fourth of a cup of potato salad and it made my fat-kid-at-heart soul die. They nickel and dime you on everything. It's not the matter of the 40 cents or whatever it is. You see me there every week, I order the same thing. Any time I ask to put the dressing/mayo/whatever on the side, you charge me extra. I dont want extra "whatever", just put the same thing in a cup on the side. It's bad business, especially with another cafe/restaurant in the same parking lot. Your 40 cent plastic cup just cost you a very conveniently located customer........and I only gave the extra star because the food isnt bad, just the business practice. read more

I used to go here once a week for about two years. I recently sat here with a coworker for about two hours. We both got meals and needed to get some work done on our computers. The owner had the audacity to come up to two frequent customers and say " I have a small cafe here and I need to turn over tables. You guys need to leave" there were about 10 open tables and never once filled up. I would never recommend this place to anyone as long as it is the same female owner. read more

Used to be a good place. Not anymore. No sign telling people where to line up for the cashier and usually ends up having 2 parallel lines or the worst someone cut it off. Now they are asking for cash only if the order is less than $10! Although any meal is less than $10. I got food delivered from here two or three times and enjoyed it a lot each time. My favorite menu items were the Oaxaca wrap (grilled chicken, black beans, red kidney beans, jalapeno, and avocado) and the Energizer smoothie (Bananas, Strawberries, and "Energy Blast.") I did try some other items, but they were pretty average. I ordered the Energizer smoothie on more than one occassion, and it wasn't always consistent. Sometimes it was a little watery. This is a great choice for lunch and that is perfect for those working in Raritan Center. The service is fast and one can easily save time ordering ahead. The first time I was at Xtream Healthy Cafe I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla and was worried it would not be enough food, however I was surprised to find a huge portion for such a great low price. I was surprised to see a Burgers on the menu, and thankful once I tried it. This is much better than any fast food burger around. I am very happy to have found this place. read more

Okay food but worst slowest service ever. Called for pickup and heard 20 to 25 minutes but showed up and waited an additional half an hour and it's not even crowded. The girls working the cash registers and answering the phones are so clueless and need to be fired immediately. Especially the one with the black hair. After I finally wanted to figure out what was going on after waiting for so long it turned out my food was sitting on the shelf for about 20 minutes after I paid and the black haired girl just stood around all clueless. Let me start by saying the food was tasty and was not the problem here. The service was absolutely subpar. When I went to order my sandwich the cashier said my total and reached out, and I had to stop her so I could add a drink to my meal. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, no lettuce or tomato and with ketchup. I got a plain burger with a piece of bacon on it. I wanted medium-rare, I got well done. The burger was actually good tasting but having been the only customer ordering I was very offended at being rushed and that my order was not taken correctly, given that the menu said bacon cheeseburger not bacon burger. I literally just came from there. It's now 2:35PM on Thursday the 29th of June 2017. Ordered a shake, 4 eggs over easy, with 4 pieces of pork roll. It comes with home fries and toast. The kid repeated back to me "ok you want 4 eggs and 4 pieces of pork roll. That comes with toast and home fries or sweet potatoes" I said I'll have home fries. He says "ok what kind of toast" I say rye. I walk in ten minutes later and wait for them to make my shake, I walk back to work, sit down, open up my meal, and there's 3 eggs, 3 pieces of pork roll, and 3 chunks of sweet potatoes. Not even sweet potato fries. Just chunks of sweet potatoes. And to top it off, the toast looks and tasted like it was put in the toaster for 6 seconds and taken out and wrapped up. Aka: bread. That's absurd to me considering the kid even repeated back to me what I ordered on the phone and then I open it and it's completely wrong. And it was $17 with a $1.25 pack of starburst. By that point I was just pissed off and didn't bother going back to complain about it. But dude. Simple shit like that is unreal. It's not that hard. Awesome food! My friends are obsessed with this place, so today I finally got around to trying it! It definitely lived up to all the hype everyone has been giving it. I ordered the southwest wrap with turkey bacon instead of regular bacon and it was amazing! Great portions (comes with pickles & brown rice or pasta salad) and the place looks extremely clean. Terrible service! The owner of this restaurant was rude and condescending. It's called Extreme Healthy Cafe but their fruits and vegetables (salad) are NOT ORGANIC!! So deceiving! #NotHealthy The cheeseburger was awful! The dry crusted, stale bun should not have been served. It looked like they ran out of buns! They got my order wrong. I ordered cheeseburger but all I got was the beef patty with lettuce & tomato - NO cheese, NO bun, and NO cole slaw. Then when they tried to fix it, the beef patty was undercooked showing pink color. You order a smoothie with 3 kinds of fruit they give you 2, you order a panini they bring a wrap. So today I decided to actually get in my car and drive to this establishment figuring that if I am in the building, there is no way for them to screw up my order. WRONG. I ordered a sandwich and the girl was so eager to get my money she didn't even ask me what I'd like on it. I specified no onions which several patrons heard me say and when I got my sandwich guess what... Onions. I brought it to their attention and the guy behind the counter said "it didn't say that on the ticket" then proceeded to pick the onions off of my sandwich and give it back to me.. Has anyone ever heard of a little thing called allergies. (I had a similar yet somehow worse experience with a chicken burger, but that's another story for another day) I asked them to make a new one and they huffed and puffed so I asked for my money back instead... Now the new sandwich comes out of no where and the girl behind the counter was shoving the new sandwich in my face along with my debit card that hadn't been refunded. At this point I really didn't want the sandwich because I am allergic to way too many things to allow someone with an attitude to send me to the hospital but guess what, I took it. To sweeten things the gentleman who was in front of me was asking for his receipt before, during, and after I placed my order, which the girl behind the counter of course had an attitude about stating "I didn't know you wanted it" he was polite and asked her again so guess what she did .. A coworker just ordered a burger to go and was charged a dollar extra for pickles. Pickles?! Pickles?!?! We're talking about Pickles, you kidding me? I've never paid extra for pickles in my entire life and it speaks to the absolute greed of this place. Xtreme gets two stars ONLY because the food is good, unfortunately they will screw up your order more than they will get it right, and you will become frustrated waiting for them to figure it out, while watching the total ineptitude of most of the staff. They recently raised their prices across the board, the service is absolutely pitiful and I assume the only reason why this place is still in business is because of its convenience to raritan center businesses. I was extremely disappointed with the service I experienced today. My co-workers and I order from Xtreme Healthy Café often because the food is good and usually delivers quickly. Well today completely turned me off from ordering there ever again. I called to place an order and a man picked up the phone and said 'please hold' which I did for 6 minutes. I thought maybe they forgot about the call which happens and is fine so I called again. The same man picked up with an attitude and said to hold on for 2 or 3 minutes. Well another 6 minutes go by and he finally picks up. He starts asking for the address, phone #, and company name. Then abruptly says he has to talk to someone and doesn't even put me on hold but HANGS UP! I was so angry at this point. I called back and a female picked up who wasn't any better. Couldn't get the order right and I had to repeatedly say the order. They lost our business so I guess King George Café will do instead. read more
