While driving around on a rainy Saturday afternoon, we decided to give Habibi a try for a quick pick-me-up. We ordered the Crème Brûlée Iced Matcha and a Pineapple Matcha Smoothie off their specials list. I enjoyed the Pineapple Matcha, but the Crème Brûlée just tasted like a regular matcha. Also, the cold foam was not sweetened, which was different. The interior has some pretty cool car themed decor and there are various types of seating. It was pretty busy when we arrived, but we had drinks in under 5 minutes and found a place to sit. They have several board games, so we passed the time with some checkers, which was nice. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. I would say the pricing is a little bit high (around $17 for 2 drinks), but I would still consider coming back to try something new.
Ok, I initially saw this on social media and have had it saved for a while. However, lately I've been hearing how the quality of drinks has gone down and is not as good as it is marketed. Unfortunately, the latter was very true. We got their Crème Brülée Latte. I will say it doesn't look the best in my picture below because we ordered our drink without ice, which was intentional. The espresso was terrible, and the syrup wasn't great either. We also got their Banana Pudding, which was probably the only saving grace. It was well made and did taste great. However, when you look at it in terms of the quantity you get for the price, it was not worth it. The space is nice and pleasant. It seems like a great spot to stop by if you want to get some work done. However, it's not worth it for the drinks or food.
Let me start by saying that Habibi Motor Cafe has the cutest decor! Everything is super aesthetic and picture ready. I loved the decorations, and they had plenty of spots to sit down and hang out. When it came time to order, I found a fun menu with signature drinks and a mini menu detailing the different options to customize your order. As a matcha lover and specialty drink advocate, I thought it was so cool that I could swap espresso for matcha in several drinks. In addition to coffee, they have two cases full of fresh pastries that looked incredible. I came with a group, so we tried a few different things. We ordered the Strawberry Shortcake Latte, the Banana Cream Latte, and the Teddy Graham Matcha Latte. Of course, I couldn't leave without a snack, so we got the Cheddar Scallion Scone. The scone was delicious, it was served warm, and the flavors balanced really well. The Strawberry Shortcake Latte was also incredible; I loved the cold foam and thought it had the perfect amount of strawberry purée. I'd actually love to try that one with matcha next time. In second place was the Banana Cream Latte. The banana flavor was a bit distant, but it was a solid, fun drink with very rich and smooth coffee. Finally, in third place was the Teddy Graham Latte, which absolutely broke my heart. The cafe was definitely on the busier side when we arrived, so I'm not sure if something was forgotten or if it sat for too long, but sadly, the matcha was so watered down. It didn't taste like brown sugar or matcha; it mostly tasted like watery milk with only a hint of matcha at the end. I was so sad because this was my primary drink and I didn't enjoy it at all. I really wanted to love Habibi Motor Cafe, but I'm torn since I only loved one drink, one was just okay, and I really disliked the third. I won't write it off completely, maybe it was just a fluke, so I might be back for a second chance, but I'm not sure if it'll be my go-to. I'd still encourage you to try it for yourself since they have a great variety of drinks, nice staff, and a beautiful space!
Whenever I'm in Jersey, I always make Habibi Coffee a mandatory stop. The vibes in the coffee shop are awesome with car paintings all over the walls. I recommend ordering from their specials menu as they are always rotating new drinks. The last time I visited, I went with the tiramisu latte which came with a thick mascarpone cold foam, my favorite part. I also ordered a pastry which was delicious. You really can't go wrong here. The only thing I suggest is arriving early if you want to sit inside as it tends to get very busy on weekends.
This place is has been on my list for a while now and I'm glad I've visited now. What we ordered: - LOVE BERRY LATTE - White Chocolate, Raspberry Puree, Espresso - SUGAR COOKIE LATTE - House made Sugar Cookie Syrup, Sweet Cream Whip, Sprinkles, Matcha All the drinks were so good. I like how unique the menu is. Totally love the vibe and theme of the place. We took our drinks to go this time but will be back to try more of the menu and dine in.
Cool, spacious, with plenty of parking. There were quite a few sports cars parked there the morning I visited. Good option to stop by for a quick coffee/ snack, or even to sit down. Ordered a Turkish coffee, which I enjoyed. It was really strong too which was great I was wired after that. Looks like most coffee is in the $8-10 range
If I lived closer, I would be here everyday!! I can't say enough nice things from the decor to the coffee to the friendly employees. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and told about their menu options. We got a table and our drinks were brought to us right away. They have a large variety of specialty drinks with delicious cold foam options. I highly recommend and can't wait to come back next time i'm in New Jersey.
This was my favorite coffee specialty shop that opened up this year. It's not too far from my house and is a great spot to go to, especially if you like cars and a cozy beverage. (: They're located off of Route 1 in the Village Green Shopping Center. If you miss the first entrance, you can go in the entrance where the Vitamin Shoppe is. There are tons of parking in the lot and it doesn't get too packed unless there's a Car Event! Inside is open, airy, with industrial vibes. The owners put a lot of care and thought into designing their space. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my husband has enjoyed their coffee. They usually have a seasonal menu and they share that and behind the scenes stuff on Insta. I love matcha and I'm happy to share that the matcha they use is ceremonial grade and prepared correctly. They also offer plant based milks like pistachio, oat, and almond. On our most recent visit, my husband got a cortado and I ordered the Santa's cookie matcha. It was very pretty and the matcha flavor stood out - yum! It was busy on Christmas Day, but we were able to get two seats and enjoy our drinks. The owners and baristas are nice and have created a community for the car and coffee / matcha lovers. I'll have to try some of their pastries on my next visit.
Good ol IG showed some posts about this place and there was a car meet there and I was in Jersey so all the stars aligned. Situated in a plaza so parking is plentiful. Love the inside decor. Definitely a great automotive chill vibe about the place. Ordered just a coffee and pastry. Specifically what they call a Spanish latte and a coconut pineapple danish. Latte was great not too sweet just right and the danish was tasty. Maybe some more coconut please. All in all a great place to chill and have a coffee. Hope to be back for another meet.
I loved this place. The staff were super sweet and patient because we couldn't decide what to get. We both got lattes, one matcha and one coffee. Both turned out literally perfect and beautiful, and we got the monkey bread (highly recommend). I absolutely loved the local art spotlight and the fact that it was packed at 5 pm goes to show the kindness and community they're building here. Well worth the drive and I will definitely be back here as soon as possible.
This café has been on my list for the longest of times. I came for their famous Spanish latte, but left with three different flavored matches, which were immaculate. The Matcha was creamy, and the flavor was bolded, as well as the different housemaid syrups they used. I love when cafés use real fruit syrups for their drinks. The interior is beautiful with different vintage cars, Arabic writing and an amazing playlist playing throughout the café. You'll find many students sitting in studying or just gathering and meeting with friends. The staff is great at accommodating, different drink, preferences and giving recommendations on what's currently popular on their menu. They do also have a seasonal menu so definitely take a look at what drinks they offer. I still need to come back for that Spanish latte !!
I stopped by for coffee and a pastry before work and it lived up to my expectations! I was a huge fan of the minimalist car theme of the cafe. The tiramisu latte was pretty good, but I would probably try something else next time. The cheddar scallion scone smelled so good that I ate it while driving back home and it was delicious, but a bit dry. I would definitely come back and possibly stay in the cafe for a little bit next time.
One of my favorite coffee shops in central NJ. Their drinks are all handcrafted to perfection. The service is always outstanding with such a friendly staff. The cafe is also so clean, with such beautiful & modern decor. 5/5 recommend!

On a lazy weekend morning in search of caffeine, we found Habibi Motor Cafe - a cute, modern, bright coffee shop with tons of seating for remote work opportunities. The look of the space alone draws me in to visit, but the coffee is so good as well. Their specialty latte flavors all sounded amazing, but we opted for the tiramisu & the white chocolate raspberry. I appreciate a cafe that makes their own syrups/flavors, and the taste at Habibi's reflects that. I loved having real raspberry puree instead of an imitation syrup, and the flavor of the tiramisu latte was spot on - not too sweet, just how we like it. The coffee was bold and smooth, and I cannot wait to return and try the rest of the menu! read more
Ordered: Iced Crème Brûlée Latte (~$8): house made crème brûlée sauce, sweet cream top, and brûlée crust Cortado (~$5) Aya's take: Habibi Motor Cafe combines my two interests of cars & coffee! Being Middle Eastern myself, I liked the unique concept and knew I had to stop by when we were in the area. We arrived around 5pm and it was extremely loud & busy. The atmosphere and seating gives relaxing environment, but in reality, there were people with laptops (on a Saturday), kids running around, and generally the acoustics inside aren't great. Nonetheless, we placed an order and grabbed a table. I got the Iced Crème Brûlée Latte which was very well executed. It's rich, bold, and had notes of vanilla and burnt caramel. They definitely nailed the crème brûlée flavor. Even the Cortado was nicely presented and soothing. I liked that the flavor profile in the espresso was not overpowered by the milk or extraction process. I was also bummed that they didn't have their cool cups that say "Habibi" on them! Their branding is one of the things that caught my eye about them and it sucks to see them switching to nonbranded cups (assuming for cost reasons). Overall, it was worth a try! read more

Habibi Motor Café has such a cool concept and atmosphere. The automotive-inspired aesthetic gives it a unique vibe that's different from your typical coffee shop, and it's easy to spend an afternoon here catching up with friends or getting some work done. The drinks were well made, and I appreciated the attention to presentation. The space itself is definitely part of the experience and makes for a fun destination if you're into cars, coffee, or both. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that I felt there was a little room for improvement with either the service speed or overall consistency during my visit. That said, I'd absolutely come back and would recommend checking it out. read more

Oh my, I fell in love with this place ! The ambiance was 10/10, this place is so aesthetic. You can have a quiet place to just study and do your work. They also have a projector which is pretty cool cause this coffee shop is theme of cars. I adored it because I love cars. The service was absolutely amazing, the lady at the cashier was so sweet she had such a smile at her face. Great customer service experience. I ordered an ice matcha latte with a pump of caramel and cold foam and oatmilk. It was really tasty, as well organic which I loved. I also ordered ice caramel latte with coconut milk and cold foam. The coffee tasted really amazing! The flavor was so rich, the coffee as well tasted organic! I literally would come back to this place, the owner as well was sweet and attentive. 10/10!!! read more
The Good: - Dubai Chocolate Latte - Pistachio Latte (w/pistachio milk) - Cool ass motor-cross industrial vibes/decor The Bad: - Monkey Bread - Jalapeño & Cheddar Scone I got totally spoiled having the best jalapeño and cheddar scones in Tucson and the ones here were extremely dry and not overly flavorful. TLDR: Cozy, well decorated cafe with tons of drink options, variety of seasonal flavors, kind staff (possibly the owners), and solid coffee. Worth the wait and definitely worth a visit!! I've had Habibi Motor Cafe in East Brunswick on my saved list of coffee shops to try for a while, and I'm so glad I finally made it in. I had even seen them at a food festival in Princeton back in October, which made me even more excited to visit their cafe. I ordered a cold brew and had to wait for a fresh batch, but it was ready exactly when they said it would be, which I really appreciated. I also tried the seasonal tiramisu latte, which was delicious. They have a ton of drink options and a great milk selection too, including Planet oat milk, Califia almond milk, Tache pistachio milk, and regular whole milk (apologies if I missed any other options!) The ambiance is excellent with their beautifully decorated for Christmas and it's very cozy, with a nice seating area that makes you want to stay awhile. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, and it seemed like the owners themselves were managing the register, which gave the place a very warm, personal feel. A couple small notes - there was a good amount of ice in my drink, and the to go cups didn't have closed sip lids. Not a dealbreaker at all, just something to note. Parking is easy since it's in a strip mall shared with other stores. Overall, a great spot and I'd definitely return to try more drinks! read more

We finally decided to stop in on a whim. The space itself was a little underwhelming. classic cars on the wall gave it more of a bare, minimalistic look. It does feel study-friendly though, so if you're looking for a spot to sit down with a laptop or a book, it works for that vibe.We ordered drinks to go: my boyfriend had the Turkish coffee, his sister went with the hot spiced apple cider, and I tried the dirty mango. The drinks were fine, but nothing that really stood out or made me want to come back just for them.Overall, not a bad place, but definitely more average than memorable. read more
This place is such a good coffee spot, the service was amazing through and through, the barista was super helpful when ordering, she seemed very knowledgeable about their drinks and even gave a lovely suggestion to order the something off the menu- matcha watermelon spritz. It's refreshing and good balance of matcha with watermelon flavor. I also ordered a regular latte- flavorful and well presented. Finally also ordered knafeh without cream, it was house made and tasted authentic. The ambience is clean, and well furnished. Will be back for their seasonal chai latte too. New coffee shop in their soft opening week. I don't think they were quite prepared for all the interest they were getting because only one out of two people (the owners) were were working on a Saturday morning. As a result, there was a line to order and to get your order it took quite a long time. They were nice about it though. We ordered a couch aman, oat milk latte and oat milk flat white to stay. Our pastry was warmed up but was cold by the time our drinks finally came out. Our drinks were also not steamed quite thick enough but they still tasted nice. read more

The cafe just had their opening this past weekend. Really clean looking interior and comfy couches. My friends had their coffee and really liked it. I usually go with caffeine free options so I got their dirty mango drink. Really refreshing for a hot day. Came back later on after dinner and tried their Dubai chocolate cake that has layers of pistachio with Kataifi. It was excellent. Would definitely come back for another slice. read more

Best coffee ever. You want a morning coffee done the right way u come here. My friend Mike recommended me here. Get the "Mike special" (Mocha Latte iced, with chocolate and cold foam). People are very sweet! Service was quick and easy. Ambiance is nice and chill if u wanna sit down with friends and family for a coffee night! read more
