The estimate was outrageous for such a small dent, so I decided not to have it repaired. Today I found out that it was reported to CARFAX. There was no accident, no police report, no insurance claim, and no repair was done. This auto shop was the only place I went for an estimate. I called immediately to let them know and Joey told me there was nothing he could do because his team used the "styrofoam guide" that comes with the emblem and therefore claimed it should be straight. Even after admitting the issue, he refused to fix the poor workmanship unless I paid more money for additional parts to correct their mistake. This was extremely unprofessional, and I'm disappointed that after paying so much, I still left with sloppy work and no accountability. I would not recommend Carsmetics to anyone.
