During installation, the driver's side window was manipulated using the common industry technique of tricking the door latch closed so the window stays fully raised while working on the glass. This requires the installer to release the latch before closing the door so the window can drop back down normally. In my case, the window was not released properly before the door was closed, and the glass struck the frame. It was dark at the time, and when I asked the technician to check, he said there was no visible damage. About a month later, a crack became clearly visible extending from under the plastic window molding -- consistent with a stress fracture that started small and slowly spread, which is a well-documented pattern with this exact type of installation error. This was the only time that window had been touched or serviced. There was no prior damage. I have photos clearly showing the crack originating at the edge where the frame meets the glass, exactly where this kind of damage occurs. When I brought this to the technician's attention, he refused to take any responsibility, focused only on the fact that a month had passed, and was unwilling to discuss a resolution, mediation, or even a partial contribution to the repair cost. He also does not carry liability insurance, so customers have no protection if something like this happens. I'm sharing this in detail so future customers understand the real risk with this technique and know how a legitimate damage claim was handled here. I would not recommend this service, and I'm proceeding with a small claims filing given the lack of any good-faith response.

When picking up the boat I noticed and photographed multiple locations where the tint had jagged cuts, irregularities in the gaps and bubbling. After about 4 months the tint had separated from the windshield. I got in contact with Barry and sent him pictures and explained what the concerns were, his shop manager said they would have removed the tint and refunded my money if I wasn't happy. Barry and his shop manager insisted on fixing the shoddy workmanship and I agreed to let them try to redo the entire job. After my wife received multiple messages and phone calls they shortly turned aggressive and stated that it was the windshields fault and it may never attach properly (I have all the texts) That's when they came up with the crazy idea of using clay and silicone to basically hide the jagged cuts and gaps. After I came home and heard Barry yelling at my wife on the phone and I told him we would come for the boat and he said that's fine it's ready. Well it wasn't, just to be a complete tool he removed and kept the tint but has refused to return any money. I have attached photos and I'd love to hear if anyone would accept this type of workmanship?
