Tried to call to speak to someone, no one answers the phone. Went to the physical store today. Walked in to the phones ringing off the hook and no one in sight. Had a shop employee come and tell me to call places because they do the whole job or no job. He said to call places and they themselves don't even answer the phone. I checked out two other repair facilities before choosing Professional Auto Body to repair some minor accident-related front end damage to my vehicle. From the moment I walked through their door I felt welcome. The owner, Tye, and his lovely wife were very friendly and professional. The atmosphere in their lobby/waiting room was serene, unlike the frenzy and chaos found in the first two shops I had visited. My car was in the shop for 3 days. Tye called me a few times to update me on the price, progress, and the estimated completion time. When the work was completed, I was very happy with the results. The front end looks better than new. Tye also recommended some additional items that need attention (tires, struts, etc.) and referred me to local shops that would treat me fairly. (I have since patronized one of the shops and was very happy.) I appreciated Tye's attention to detail and the fact that he went above and beyond the call of duty to look at some non-accident related items and give me his professional opinion. While my car was in the shop, I rented a car from Hertz, which is just down the road from Professional Auto Body. A Hertz employee picked me up from the shop, and 3 days later, when I returned the rental, they drove me back. No waiting - very convenient! (A previous reviewer mentioned the rental insurance: Be aware that all car rental agencies will suggest that you purchase their daily insurance, but if you already have full coverage on your own auto insurance, you should decline theirs. Thankfully Hertz did not pressure me to obtain their insurance, I just said "no thanks" and that was the end of it.) Overall, my experience with Professional Auto Body was excellent. I could not be happier with the service and will probably be returning to get some miscellaneous items fixed in the interior. I highly recommend this shop. read more

I can't recommend Tye enough. My insurance company's "authorized" body shop came in with two separate claim estimates, one for vandalism, the other for collision. The vandalism damage was a hole puncture under the driver door handle that could not realistically be fixed since there was no metal left to work with. The door skin clearly needed to be replaced, which even an amatuer could understand. The collision damage was a long scrape and affected the driver side fender, front door, and back door. The authorized dealer came back with an estimate for the vandalism damage that was for applying putty in the hole in the door instead of replacing the skin. What? Never heard of it. It couldn't possibly work. Then the estimate for the collision damage was $2,200. Something about the whole transaction seemed very suspect as the result would have resulted in me paying two deductibles of $500 each. I told my insurance agent I wanted to take the vehicle someplace other than the "authorized" shop. I found Professional Auto Body. Tye had to work with the insurance company to educate them on how to properly fix a hole in a door, convincing them that the previous shop's idea of "puttying" the hole would not work. By properly fixing the door with a new skin, the estimate for the collision damage was then $100. THANK YOU Tye for being an honest auto body repair shop. Thank you for understanding I'm the customer, not the insurance company. In this whole process, the only person that made me feel like I was the customer was Tye. Both the insurance company and the "authorized" body shop made me feel like a chump and treated me with disrespect. Yes, I'm a woman, but that doesn't mean I'm stupid and that I don't understand when someone is trying to take advantage of me. Thank you Tye for not letting the insurance company get away with paying less than they were supposed to. I will never again go to the insurance company's authorized body shop. The relationship clearly begets a conflict of interest where the customer loses. read more
