I called because I had a leaking tire and wanted to see if places are busy and what their rates are. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon, not busy. Jim answered the phone and was very friendly, compared to most auto-shops who either doesn't sound happy, or sound irritated with my questions. The person who worked on my tire was also nice, showing me how the hole in the tire is too big to be repaired and that it needs a whole replacement. The only thing I did not like is how another coworker made a rude comment about me to his associate. However, Goodyear (who owns Just Tires) and Jim (manager) contacted me personally for a sincere apology. They seemed like they cared about their customers being happy and put in effort to make up the bad experience. Because of Jim's friendly service, and both Jim and Goodyear acknowledging my issue, I am giving this place 5 stars. Update: adding one more star due to a good faith effort by the store to replace the broken key. The store manager Jim Brink replaced my key within 24 hours of the damage. Original review: Avoid this store at all costs. They managed to BREAK MY KEY. How does someone even do that?! I have owned this car for almost a decade, and the keys have been in perfect condition. I went in for a standard oil change. I handed them a perfectly good key. After the service, they handed me back my key and said NOTHING, pretending nothing had happened. Incredibly irresponsible. Only after I got home and took the key out of the ignition that I realized the key felt wobbly. See the pictures below. It costs $320 to buy and reprogram a new key. They have cost me hundreds of dollars. I even gave them my business to install new tires last year. Even then, they messed up and lost a lug nut. I only found out during the safety inspection at another shop months later. They were willing to reimburse me for the lug nut. The negligence and irresponsibility I've experienced is unacceptable. Don't trust the 5-star reviews - they give discounts if you leave a good review. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Had an excellent experience here. Initially thought I wanted a wheel alignment with the replacement of two rear tires, but then changed my mind, so they said they would check my car first and then let me know if I needed alignment (balancing the tires was already included with the tire replacement and I was initially thinking that balancing was the equivalent of an alignment). They forgot to get my authorization before conducting the $120 (with coupon) alignment and voluntarily did not charge me for it, even though their mechanic would have recommended it. I offered to go "halfies" with them and they refused. Very exceptional customer service in a situation where many others would have instead insisted upon payment. Bravo Just Tires! I came in here with what turned out to be an incredibly simple tire pressure problem, which leads me to seriously question the competency of the staff. I ended up here after visiting the air pump at the Exxon gas station down the road after the one next door at Shell wouldn't accept a CC. My pressure light was on and the air pump was telling me that one tire was super low (19 psi vs 32). There was no pressure gauge, just a screen, and the pressure wouldn't hold in that tire so off to Just Tires I went. First, they couldn't locate my tire lock. After having a small heart attack, I was able to pull it out of the glove compartment where it's always been. Except of course when i travel to Baltimore, at which point it lives in my purse. I digress. After 20 min or so, the teenage looking tech came out to basically ask me why I thought there was an issue w the tire since he couldn't find anything wrong. I explained the above and asked if he checked the other tires, which led to an awkward staring contest. Eventually he said he'd go back and check. He couldn't find anything and suggested that the warning light was on in error and the dealership would have to reset it. I took the car to the dealership the next day-- they said all the tires were pretty low (so either the gas station pump doesn't work.... and Just Tires didn't actually check anything?). I don't know. But it's been two weeks and I've had no issues. Not sure what the problem was but I won't be returning here. read more

BLUF: If you're seeking service here, ask for Jim or Drew. Avoid Oscar at all costs. A simple tire replacement took over 4 hours, all due to poor service from Oscar. On 2/24, I noticed a bubble in my tire, which was still under warranty. After contacting Goodyear, they advised me to visit any 'Just Tires' location for an inspection and potential replacement. I spoke with Jim on the phone, and he assured me I could come in anytime that day. I arrived around 1:00 PM, met Jim, and began the inspection. Jim was everything I hoped for in a service provider--polite, professional, and knowledgeable. We had a great conversation about our high-mileage vehicles while completing the paperwork. Within 30 minutes, my warranty claim was approved, and I was thrilled. Jim suggested I purchase their tire hazard package, which I agreed to, and he promised to call me once the tire came in. The next day (2/25), Jim confirmed that the tire had arrived, and we scheduled an appointment for 2/26. He told me the service would take between 30 minutes and an hour, so I arranged to take time off work. On 2/26, I arrived early for my appointment, at 1:30 PM, and spoke with Oscar, the Customer Advisor. When I provided my details, he flatly told me I wasn't in the system. I explained the situation, but he remained unresponsive. When I asked about the wait time, he said it would take 2-3 hours. I repeated that I had an appointment and had been told the service would take less time, but he simply stared at me without acknowledging my concerns. Feeling frustrated but needing the service, I accepted the wait and was told they would call when my vehicle was ready. Over two hours later, I called for an update. Drew, the service manager, answered, checked on my vehicle, and informed me that it would take another 25 minutes. I waited a bit longer and returned to the shop at 4:00 PM. When I spoke with Drew again, he informed me that they were having trouble locating the nail in my tire. At that point, it was clear there had been some miscommunication. I explained again that I was there for a tire replacement, and Drew went to find Jim. Jim quickly apologized, showing me the service ticket he had originally prepared and confirming that they (Oscar) had made an error. He reassured me that the technicians were working on my car and that it would be done shortly. While waiting, I observed Oscar's indifferent attitude towards all customers, providing the same flat, uninterested service he had shown me earlier. After about an hour, Drew handed Oscar the keys, and I saw my car in the parking lot with the tire replaced. When I approached Oscar to pay, he told me to sit down. At that point, it had been over 4 hours since I dropped off my car, and I was ready to leave. After a few more minutes, Oscar finally processed my payment. I opted to remove the hazard package I had initially agreed to, as I no longer felt confident in the shop's reliability. Once again, Oscar's response was monotone and detached, as he blandly asked, "Debit or credit?" without a hint of acknowledgment for the inconvenience I had experienced and the part that he'd played in it. There was no apology or sign of regret from Oscar. While I understand he might have had a bad day, his complete lack of accountability and care made for an incredibly poor experience. As a Customer Advisor, his behavior was unacceptable. I would strongly recommend that management invest in customer service training for Oscar. His performance was subpar, and there are certainly others who could provide a much higher level of service. The tire replacement appears to have been done correctly, and I haven't had further issues, so I appreciate Jim, Drew, and the technicians in the shop. However, after this ordeal, I don't plan on returning. read more

The price was great. The service at the front however was extremely rude-- I believe his name is Ace. I made an appointment and he went on to say that I made the appointment completely wrong and made me feel bad. I don't know if it was a power trip type thing or what but he was just really rude and made me not want to come back. I try to take care of my car but he practically told me I'm not doing a good job. Drove here to get my tire patched from a nail, we agreed on $38. Waited 2 HOURS for the service writer, James Brink, to call me and tell me I needed a new tire, because the nail was in the sidewall and unrepairable. So either he is blind, never looked at the tire, or doesn't know what a sidewall is, because the nail was in the tread in the middle of the tire. He proceeds to tell me that a new tire is $325. No thanks, drove down the block to JC tires, in and out in 15 minutes with my patched tire. Don't come here, just don't. They mansplain here, stay away. Now being harassed that my tire had two nails and must be replaced. Attached a receipt from the garage that did my patch of one nail. UPDATE!! Jim - the manager reached out to me after my review posted and I was able to go and get the issues fixed. Jim was super nice and personable (and I want to be clear, everyone was generally nice to me-not a rude person amongst the staff, but the complacency with the subpar work and not finishing the job was the main issue). Jim even took time to work on an issue with my sensors, and cleaned the soap residue off my new wheels. To top it off he helped me (and by help I mean took care of) submit the rebate for the new tires I purchased. It really took a load off to have all the extra hoops removed. Despite losing time (which really couldn't be helped at that point) I felt great leaving and after talking to and having my car serviced by Jim. The triple lights (ABS, 4WD, and traction control) came on twice this past week- 3rd time total after tire change- but I'm waiting to see if it happens again bc after having my car worked on for so long in the collision center, then taking it to JT for the tire change twice, I'm very ready to push this chapter allll the way behind me. If you have a vehicle with adaptive cruise control using an electro optical sensor in the front bumper they lack the tools to recalibrate the sensor if they perform an alignment. They failed to disclose this pretty important piece of information until after they had mounted and balanced 4 new tires on the vehicle. I now have to go to the dealership to have the alignment and recalibration for what will be a needlessly expensive experience as well as aggravation of another day of the vehicle in the shop and having to take Ubers. Nothing more than a "sorry, we didn't know" kind of excuse. The vehicle in question is not some exotic car - it's a 9 year old Jeep. Cannot recommend this place. read more

OK... So I come in to this place to get a simple job done. A nail removed from tire and a patch put on. I show up when they open. 7am. There are two guys here. No customers. The white guy w/ thick mustache tells me they are swamped and I have to drop off the car and keep it for the day. This is a 10-20 minute job, Guys! What the eff! So, I took a picture. When I dropped my car off, I asked about the tire rotation and they said that it was included in the oil change. Turns out they did not rotate my tires.
