Funny now, but stressful at the time: I had gone to a different outfit where they found the puncture was caused by a screw. Unfortunately, after pulling the screw they found they had neither a plug nor a patch! Yipes! Those guys got out my donut spare and sent me to these guys. Phew! First of all I was glad I bought used tires for affordable price. After that, the used tire became flat. There was a nail in there. And then I bought another used tire from same place. I found nail in the tire again. Because those nails were exactly same. It wouldnt be coincidence that could have been same nails. Those people sell cheap tires because those tires already nailed or crashed something like that. Very very careful. They just dont sell cheap stuff. read more

I've been twice and will keep going back. Once I had a hunk of metal that surprisingly didn't puncture the tire's inner liner. They extracted the bolt and didn't charge me (left a tip). Today, another piece of metal shredded a tire (got to watch where I'm driving or something). I'll send them new tires I find for less on the internet for them to install. Went in after being quoted over $500 for 4 new tires from a different place. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, I was on my own and have no idea about cars or what tires need replacing, they were very honest and only replaced two with almost new tires at $60 each including the work. I did bring a book with me expecting to be there a while but it was all done very fast and right in front of me. They also talked through what I might need to get done in the near future. read more

I busted a tire while driving and needed to get it replaced on a Sunday. My husband took me here and the guy said my tire was fine and just needed a patch job. He assured us that it was perfectly safe to do so and that if he didn't think it was safe, he wouldn't let a pretty lady drive away with it :) :) :) We were in and out in probably 10 min. This place is great. This place is fast and inexpensive. I needed one tire replaced and they did it within 8-10 minutes. I pulled up and just told the guy I needed a used tire with good tread and he provided that easily. He did exactly what I asked him for without if ands or butts. They have Honest workers there. This place isn't busy during the week so try and go then. Weekends may be a little longer and busier, but still good service. I recommend. Great experience. Called ahead and verified they had what I was looking for. They actually gave me options for matching used tires in my size. They sold me two great looking tires with mounting and balancing for a very reasonable price. Whole thing took maybe 15 minutes. The guys were nice, laid back, and quite understandable. Been here multiple times to patch or plug a tire with a slow leak. They're quick, straight to the point, and extremely affordable. I've been here time and time again, they have always treated me with respect. This tire shop always takes great concern for my services. The manager (Carlos) is extremely knowledgeable of his work and committed to satisfy our cars state of safety. This tire shop has been running for over 23 years and from what I've been told the manager has been there for a loyal 22 years; Holy cow! I wouldn't trade going to this tire shop for anything, my family has great respect for these guys. Surprisingly they are a bilingual shop, they are right off the highway, there's a wonderful dog park around the corner, downtown Shirlington is over the bridge, and it's in a safe environment. Sure the location looks a bit sketchy but it's all due to age. The surrounding area over all is full of diversity. What can you expect it's the beautiful of Arlington, Va! I went to try and get a used tire for my suv and after checking the tire, Carlos told me that the tire was fine and didn't need to be patched. He did see a very small leak along the rim which he took care of right away. That certainly was good news to me.But I also needed a spare tire and rim which Carols hook me up for a very decent price. I highly recommend getting your tire needs taken care here. The service was spot on and very fast. But this doesn't mean they were rushing the job.
