My go to spot - always friendly service - the price is the price. I've never had to wait for very long (if at all). Make sure you don't park at the gas pump to wait for your propane tanks. I only had one tank and I couldn't figure out where to actually park- it's not in the same ownership as the gas/shell store, but after that was figured out, it was straightforward. Got 3 gallons of propane , they charged me for 5 gallons . When I questioned the overcharge , they told me that they have a min of 5 gallon policy. So even if you need only 1 gallon they charge you for 5 gallons. In my opinion it's bad business to charge people for something that the customer didn't get. Needed a refill around 10pm for a late night BBQ. I had already called over 10 different locations and none were "refilling hours" including the 24 hour "RESEDA PROPANE REFILL" 6801 Reseda Blvd Room A, Reseda, CA 91335. Guy hung up on me for asking if they were refilling and he said no and I asked why does it say 24 hours... Anyways, found this place on Yelp (closed already) but hoped for the best and called. Guy who picked up was very friendly and was not annoyed at all. He said his spot was closed til the morning but he referred me to another place that's open til midnight plus it was way closer to me. Great customer service for picking up the phone after hours AND referring a competitor's location for me. I'll be refilling here from now on. This place is great. I get my 20 lbs bbq propane tank filled here. Cheaper than doing an exchange at any store or retailer. I usually get Gregory, he is fast and efficient. There is a minimum amount (I believe 5 gal and price is posted at the location) and sold by the gallon, so make sure your tank is empty for best value. read more
