I've visited this spa on two different occasions. My first visit was for a 90 minute scalp treatment and foot massage. Before the treatment, they showed me a video of my scalp and then another video afterward. They successfully removed the buildup, and I was very happy with Cici's work. My second visit was for a 60 minute body massage and foot massage. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The man who worked on me seemed inexperienced. I requested medium pressure, but it was so light that I eventually asked for hard pressure. The two times he asked if the pressure was okay, I said yes because at that moment it was. However, within about 10 seconds, he would go right back to using very little pressure. If I wanted someone to lightly touch my back with minimal effort, my kids could have easily done that for free. I left extremely disappointed with the service. I came with four other women. Overall, they were okay with their scalp treatments. Their only complaint was that their hair was not completely dry when they left. What frustrated me most was that I wish the person who booked my appointment had been honest if they did not have a qualified massage therapist available. I would have completely understood and rescheduled. Instead, it felt like they booked the appointment anyway, despite knowing the therapist was not capable of providing the level of service I expected. The only thing I was satisfied with during my second visit was the front desk employee. She provided excellent customer service, was very kind, and was genuinely apologetic when I expressed my concerns about the "massage therapist." Because of my positive first experience, I know this spa can provide quality services. However, the inconsistency between my two visits makes it difficult for me to recommend their massage services. read more

The girl left the room (during the massage session) several times, slamming the door every time. Others would walk in the room during the session to talk to my girl. She also, answered the phone, making appointments during the session. Horrible experience! The massage? I don't even think she's certified. Never used her hands, she used her forearm and elbow. After the torture, I was walking towards the door to leave, she stopped me and asked for a TIP! lol!! Not a clean place either. Their blankets were of poor quality and they smelled. When you go to the effort of filling out where you're sore and uncomfortable on their app, when you register before walking in for the massage, and they pay no attention to what you've put down as where you'd like to focus to be that's frustrating. Second of all ,changing a masseuse halfway through your massage is not OK. Especially when the second masseuse doesn't know what they're doing and inflict pain not once but twice and you have to ask them to stop! Then the proceed to just start squeezing you in random places. Again clueless about what they are doing. I've been going for over a year and never really had a problem other than people coming in and speak with the masseuse or leaving to answer the phone which is annoying but given the other options in Claremont I put up with it. had a problem until the last month. Calling was the easiest option for an appt. We books an appt for two to celebrate a friend. We got the 90 minute ($90 first time) which consisted of a 60 minute scalp treatment and 30 minute foot reflexology. It's heaven. I definitely fell asleep for part of it. They started with a slight facial massage moved to head then started shampooing and messaging, while you rinsed under the halo of water then you had your shoulders, hands and arms worked out. After a nice blow dry where my hair has never felt softer, we then had a nice foot massage. It was pure magic. This is the third place I've tried and i will be back.
