I've visited this spa on two different occasions. My first visit was for a 90 minute scalp treatment and foot massage. Before the treatment, they showed me a video of my scalp and then another video afterward. They successfully removed the buildup, and I was very happy with Cici's work. My second visit was for a 60 minute body massage and foot massage. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The man who worked on me seemed inexperienced. I requested medium pressure, but it was so light that I eventually asked for hard pressure. The two times he asked if the pressure was okay, I said yes because at that moment it was. However, within about 10 seconds, he would go right back to using very little pressure. If I wanted someone to lightly touch my back with minimal effort, my kids could have easily done that for free. I left extremely disappointed with the service. I came with four other women. Overall, they were okay with their scalp treatments. Their only complaint was that their hair was not completely dry when they left. What frustrated me most was that I wish the person who booked my appointment had been honest if they did not have a qualified massage therapist available. I would have completely understood and rescheduled. Instead, it felt like they booked the appointment anyway, despite knowing the therapist was not capable of providing the level of service I expected. The only thing I was satisfied with during my second visit was the front desk employee. She provided excellent customer service, was very kind, and was genuinely apologetic when I expressed my concerns about the "massage therapist." Because of my positive first experience, I know this spa can provide quality services. However, the inconsistency between my two visits makes it difficult for me to recommend their massage services. read more

This was such an amazing experience we got the 50 minute couple massage with coconut oil, hot stones and back scrub. The attention to detail these ladies gave us was incredible. Cici helped me with my massage, she was very understanding of me being 25% paralyzed on my right side of my body, she did not harm me in anyway! Wow! We read the reviews to this place before going. Reviews LIED! I don't recommend this place if you're looking to relaxing while getting a massage. The girl left the room (during the massage session) several times, slamming the door every time. Others would walk in the room during the session to talk to my girl. She also, answered the phone, making appointments during the session. Horrible experience! The massage? I don't even think she's certified. Never used her hands, she used her forearm and elbow. After the torture, I was walking towards the door to leave, she stopped me and asked for a TIP! lol!! Not a clean place either. Their blankets were of poor quality and they smelled. Most of these headspas exist in the SGV, so it's so nice to find one in Claremont. They have space to also accommodate more than one person at a time, which is a huge plus for girl time. Calling was the easiest option for an appt. We books an appt for two to celebrate a friend. We got the 90 minute ($90 first time) which consisted of a 60 minute scalp treatment and 30 minute foot reflexology. It's heaven. I definitely fell asleep for part of it. They started with a slight facial massage moved to head then started shampooing and messaging, while you rinsed under the halo of water then you had your shoulders, hands and arms worked out. After a nice blow dry where my hair has never felt softer, we then had a nice foot massage. It was pure magic. This is the third place I've tried and i will be back. I came here today with my friend, we got the 60 minute scalp massage. It was a cute little couples room and we had the best time! Not even two minutes in and I was snoring! They were so sweet and welcoming and you don't know how much you need a scalp massage until you're getting one. My only complaint was that it did not last longer :) Her hands a smooth and delicate - the massage included hot stones - which was a pleasant surprise. I had high hopes for my massage today, based off the reviews.... but it was truly disappointing. The session felt rushed and sloppy. The therapist seemed unfamiliar with basic techniques, often going over multiple bony landmarks and applying uneven pressure. It was clear they were either annoyed or disinterested in providing a relaxing experience. The hot stones were barely used--just quickly swiped across my back and arms, with no real purpose or care. To top it off, the therapist handled my limbs roughly, yanking them around and slamming them back down, which was not only uncomfortable but also far from relaxing. And to make matters worse, after the disappointing experience, they had the audacity to rudely ask for a tip. I won't be returning. Nor would I EVER recommend this place to anyone. This is not a relaxing place more so a quick push of a few knots and way to much oil. Groupon had a good deal but still not worth the $150 wasted. Not sure what our two therapists names were but the one in particular sat 90% of the massage which resulted in her stomach and chest landed on the back of my head. read more
