This morning I can barely turn my head. It was a 90 minute massage with 80 minutes of getting walked on and 5 minutes in problem area and the rest she just left. I've tried several places in this area and then settled down with Thai Relax. It's good!!! 1)service They have Thai and Swedish massage, and they are specialized in Thai. I've have different ladies to give me massage, and all of them are good! each time, I communicate with them which part is my body I would like to be focused on, and after the massage, I can feel my body get "loosed" and relaxed! They can go to the deep part of the joints. I don't like some massage that made me feel more sore the next day, I don't have this issue with Thai Relax. 2) atmosphere Small but comfortable lobby, and each room is clean as well. I came during Covid time as well, they have all the sanitizing stuff (spray, sanitizer, etc) in each room, which makes me comfortable. 3) Price Reasonable. See the newest price chart I attached. I got a 60-min prenatal massage. The staff were friendly and attentive. I called to book my appointment about two hours before they were open and was pleased someone actually picked up and could schedule me. Im used to getting a deep tissue massage, but since this was a prenatal one, they only could do medium hard. The masseuse was still quite firm where it was needed. I probably had the most thorough arm massage I've ever had. All my sore joints from my shifting bodyweight felt relieved. The space was neat, clean, and calming. I stopped by today very last minute and without an appointment and I didn't have to wait too long before I could get a massage. I will start off with the masseuse that worked on me (I wish I had gotten her name) was amazing. The pressure was perfect but it had been a while since my last massage so I was very stiff. She checked up on me the whole time to make sure I was ok. I chose the traditional thai so there was standing on the back and stretching. She worked all the knots and I left feeling so relaxed. The room was clean and they provide some shorts if you'd like to wear some, otherwise just underwear is fine. My only problem was that the walls are pretty thin. I went around lunch time so I think all the ladies there were starting their breaks. I'm not sure if my room was next to their breakroom, but I could hear the microwave being used and dishes being clanked around. It was a little loud and wish it would have been a little quieter. This is not a comment against the workers there-- they have to eat and take a break like the rest of us. I just wish the walls were thicker so it's a little more sound proof. Overall, it was still a good deal and amazing massage for a reasonable price. $65 as of 9/21/24 for an hour. I do suggest making an appointment in the future which I will be sure to do as well. read more

Went on July 26,2024 at 1:45pm. I was supposed to get 2 hour massage, but it was only 1:45 minutes. The massage therapist claimed the made a mistake on reading the clock, but then from office lady said she had to leave 10 min early (so which is it?) not a fan of being lied to. The massage was okay. I got the combination Thai and Swedish, but I've had better Thai massages and better Swedish massages. But it was more Thai than Swedish really. There were parts that felt really good but other times I almost felt nothing (too light), just too inconsistent. Therapist never asked if it was to my liking along the way. Also, there was times where her nails were scratching me. :/ They didn't really focus on the areas they asked me about where I wanted most, those areas were covered about the same. Not sure how they have 5 stars, maybe the pricing relative to other places? But I'd rather pay good money for a good massage. If you like light massages and don't really have an area of focus this place could work really well for you. Overall friendly and clean. Massage table was a-bit uncomfortable. I'd say 3-3.5 stars overall. My experience was more like 2.5 stars. read more

I went for the 90 min - hot stone - deep tissue - thai massage cause my body needed it and I don't regret it! They start off with you changing into clean slippers and asking if you need the bathroom before getting started. Once in the room, you change out of everything and asked to either wear the shorts or stay in your undies. Whichever you're more comfortable with. Now when I say they go in on the deep tissue, they go IN. I thought my back was bad but pretty much I felt all the knots all over me. Before they start with the hot stone, they warm up your back so that you're not in shock and if I could get a full session of just hot stone, I WOULD. Honestly, so happy with my experience. Not only was the pricing amazingly reasonable but the space was clean and everyone was friendly. They pay attention to details cause I have a fistula on my arm and the masseuse was gentle. Thai Relax Massage in Upland was a hot and new business and I LOVE Thai massages so I had to check it out for myself. I was able to make a same-day massage appointment for a 90 Minute Swedish-Thai combination massage ($80). I arrived a bit before my appointment time to fill out some paperwork while included basic contact information, pressure preference, areas of the body to focus on, areas of the body to avoid, if you like the Thai balm and if you are okay with the Thai Walking on the Back technique. I love both the Thai balm and the Thai Walking on the Back technique, so I highly recommend it. If you are unsure about the balm, I saw the receptionist give another customer a sample of the smell while they were filling out their paperwork. The front lobby area had magazines and tea to enjoy if you run early or for after your appointment. The treatment room had a nice slightly wider than average massage table, for the Thai twisting and stretching. There are also railing built above the table for the Thai masseuse to grab onto while walking on your back. You can always opt out if you are concerned!! They have a dresser for you to put your personal belongings and hang up your clothes. A one sided recycled cover top was provided for me, which is probably for the female experience. And a pair of short shorts. This is very modern compared to other Thai Massage places that give me the baggy fisherman outfit. I think they can invest in nicer outfits to change into cause it really looked like old items from a yard sale that they tried to re-purpose. I feel like they invested a lot in a dresser to make their business looks fancy, they can invest in better attire. The dresser wasn't even necessary. Meme (sounds like Mimi) was my lovely massage. She used the perfect amount of medium firm pressure as I requested on the form. She also checked on me throughout the massage to make sure that I was okay with the pressure. We started off face down where she worked out all of the knots on my back and shoulders. Afterwards I flipped over face up for her to continue working on my limbs, especially my hands as I indicated as an area of discomfort due to long hours of desk work. Towards the end, she did some twists and stretches, which I love as a part of the Thai massage experience. Mint Leaf is still my number one due to more competitive pricing and more advance Thai massage techniques... but this is a close runner-up that I will visit when my main Thai Massage spot is booked and I really need a massage. read more

I have to leave a review! This place by far the best massage I have ever gotten. Celene provided the Thai Swedish massage. I tried the first hour to get a sense of the massage. Wow oh wow! She cracked my whole back and in a good way . I asked For deep massage and it sure was deep enough for me! I came out extremely relaxed! And next time I'm going to do 90mins and slowly try other options they have. Totally recommend if you need to release tension be ready to feel the good pain on that deep massage. No matter where I move or go to work, this is my to-go place to get a massage. I dont trust anyone else! They will have you fill out a sheet when you first come asking how hard you want the pressure to be ( can always be readjsuted) your problem areas/focus areas and if you are okay with them stepping on you ( scary and weird but sooo worth it! mark it!) i love how they keep a history of what they do for you so they know to ask about your focused areas again or if it needs to be changed. I think the prices are super fair for the quality you are getting. I always feel super relaxed and loose afterwards. Some places I get massages I still feel stiff or come out with bruises. Neither here! I always do the Thai Swedish Combo - 60 minutes does it for me but i know everytime i finish i wish i did the 90 minutes. Make sure to tip your therapist!
