Upon arriving at the front desk, they give you a spa outfit, some towels, and a wristband. The wristband unlocks your shoe locker and your separate clothing locker. The hot tub area is fully nude whereas the common areas are clothed. I went to grab some dinner and had the croaker fish. The service was fast and easy. The food is a little pricey but their meals came with a lot of bonchon so it made up for the cost! After dinner, I checked out the charcoal room, ice room and salt room. All the rooms were clean and had plenty of space for relaxing! Finally, I had a body scrub appointment at 8pm. I booked the scrub with Jenny and it was an experience! For those who never had a korean body scrub before, you have to soak in the hot tub for 20-30 mins. Then your masseuse will call your name and bring you in the side room. Then you lie on your back on the table and get the ultimate scrub down! I felt so much lighter after the scrub. My skin tone was even and felt baby soft. Then she also give you a cucumber facial and wash your hair for you! My hair was super silky and smooth. They have dyson hair dryers in the women locker rooms which made it easy for me to get ready. If you opt for the combination you get placed in the front area with the privacy curtain so they can soak your feet. The private rooms in the back are for body massages only. When they texted me about a Mother's Day special a few weeks ago with a special code for a 1 hr massage at $59, I booked a 1 hr body massage online. However the code took off just $31 from the $100 original price, so the total was $69 - which is $10 more than the $59 advertised. When I called the spa about it, they explained that it's only max $31 off - even though it did not say that anywhere in the text or online booking site. When I told them that it's misleading, they still would not budge and honor the $59 price. Well I got a new text today with basically the same language - claiming any 1 hour massage is $59 with the same code. Out of curiosity, I checked online and tried all 3 massage types as they are all different prices. Only the FOOT massage is $59 with the discount, since it's still only taking $31 off the original price of $90. For BODY, it did the same thing as last time - only taking $31 off from $100 so it's $69. For the COMBO, it's $64 since it took $31 off $95. Even though I advised them to change the wording on their marketing texts and emails, they did it again which is why I'm posting for others to be aware.

I had no idea that I wouldn't be given a robe or allowed to shower without paying the extra fee. I'm in a spa club and I have never run into this issue before. This confusion may have been due to a language barrier. The shower area has a sign saying that you must run the hot water for 10-15 minutes to obtain hot water (!). I did so and still had to take a cold shower because the water never got hot. The only towels available are very small and very thin. They are not large enough to wrap around your body. The jacuzzi area shows deferred maintenance with broken tile, missing robe hooks and mold/mildew on the ceiling between the jacuzzi and the showers (ick). During my first visit (around the COVID period), I was given a promotional card for a large discount if I came back soon. It honestly seemed too good to be true, but I returned a few days later to use it. When I got there, they suddenly said the promotion didn't apply and that I had to pay full price. It was the same employee who gave me the card, and he even called his boss, but the explanation kept changing. In the end, they refused to honor the promotion they gave me. I still went through with the appointment because I already felt awkward leaving. After multiple add-ons and charges, the total came out to over $400 for the facial and services. The services themselves were average at best, and they were extremely pushy about a large tip afterward. The whole experience felt like shady business practices, misleading promotions, pressure to spend more, and pressure to tip big. The spa environment itself was also pretty unappealing and felt more like a warehouse than a relaxing spa. Overall, it left a very bad impression. I'll never return.
