All of the items were clean, and there wasn't really any "junk" to sift through to find treasures. As always, I started in the kitchen area, where I'm always looking for some interesting bowl, jar, or rare kitchen gadget to add to my collection. Then, I meandered over to the linens, through the furniture, over to clothing, and of course spent a considerable amount of time in their crafting and book area. Their prices were super reasonable, and the staff (who all - or most - appear to be volunteers) were very friendly and helpful. Visited this Goodwill location a few months ago…read more In short: the prices have gone up enough that it's almost not worth stopping by anymore. I'm sure rents have gone up and Goodwill is feeling the pinch like a lot of businesses/not for profits these days but when your closest competition is Value Village and your prices match or exceed VV's, that's a red flag to me. Our most recent visit was definitely our most disappointing one. I found a number of interesting looking games, two of which had multiple price stickers. These two were both card games and when I brought these to the attention of an employee I was told that the higher of the marked prices were the most recent. Each of those card games was priced at $10, which to me was ludicrous. On the other hand, large boxed games like Monopoly were less than that. Clothing was also more expensive than I'm used to in this shop and so I found very little of interest. The selection and quality varies widely as you might expect, so you never know what you're going to find. Plenty of parking out front and the staff were friendly enough.

The only "return" option is actually a strict exchange (no credit issued) that needs to either meet or exceed the amount of original purchase within 14 days. Lets say I buy 4 pairs of pants that I cannot try on in store, at $12.99 a piece and none of them fit, thats $52 worth of thrift store merchandise that I need to purchase, in order to return the used pants that i had no option to try on before buying. This policy also leads to people trying on clothes in the aisle because of course they would.. and ultimately this creates an unprofessional environment and personally I feel disrespected as a customer. I hope Value Village considers restoring the dignity of their customers by either offering a dressing room or changing their return policy in the future. Thanks.

They have everything and I mean EVERYTHING - the place is pretty jam packed and decision fatigue is real here. But once you get the lay of the land, figure out where and when things are kept, and realize that even the cool stuff on their walls and displays is for sale, it's hard to walk in here without buying at least one or two things. I like to start in the back, at the 50% off rack, then work my way towards the higher priced items in front. Yes, things are a bit pricier than you average consignment shop here. But you get what you pay for, as most of their items are high quality, recognizable brands, and I rarely find anything flawed or dirty. They also have an impressive selection of accessories, including designer bags and lovely costume jewelry.
