When I'm in town this is a must stop for me. They seem to always have a new selection of items whenever I stop in. The prices a good, better than anything in the Seattle area. Parking isn't the greatest but worth the walk. The staff is helpful and the gentlemen downstairs are hilarious. Stop in but don't take all the good stuff. read more

The store itself is very nice, and they have tons of cool antiques, vintage clothing, and various merchandise to look through. However that being said, a few member of their staff are literally just so rude it makes me never want to return because of how unpleasant they have been. And not only have I experienced this behavior, but I've also just seen the way they speak to other customers who are only just asking basic questions about items or just general information and are met with condescending and just flat out rude responses-acting so annoyed and surprised that someone would dare to speak to them or god forbid ask them to do their job. Once again, I love searching through the items the store has to offer, and it is quite an impressive array. However some of the employees could seriously use some help with learning some basic customer service skills and maybe pull out whatever is stuck so far up their butt. read more

A great place to stop for random junk that you likely don't need. I end up stopping in when I need to waste a little time. There's a large variety of newish, old, and antique items including jewelry, clothes, housewares, toys, books, etc. Vendors are able to rent space and bring their random items in, which allows for a good variety. The building is quite large and has another store in the lower level. They are separate businesses, so be sure to pay on the floor you're wandering. read more

This is a great antique mall and huge and I would give it a 5 star however we visited it for the first time a year ago and haven't seen much turnover since then a year later. You should be able to find something! May be a bit too much Goodwill junk intermixed with antiques here and there. read more

I will have to agree with Jenne as this place being one of the best antique stores I've been to. I wouldn't call it a mall since it's just a large store with two floors, but it does have mall in the name. There are a ton of great items reasonably priced, but since I live in Alaska and have to transport stuff home I usually stick to small things that I can fit in a suitcase. I purchased an old whiskey bottle in the shape of the trans-Alaska Pipeline that was made in 1975. It was empty or I'm sure it would have been way more than $12. I also purchased an old atlas jar that was filled with marbles as a decorative piece for my place. I love this place and wish we had more options in Anchorage instead of the dreary crap people leave behind when they move out of Alaska, or some contemporary antique store that has new pieces made to look old. Great selection of vintage clothing, quilts, toys, furniture, house goods, records, posters etc i purchased a bunch of posters for our homeschooling room and vintage clothing for myself and little baby boy. Located off the waterfront on Holly Street, Penny Lane is definately worth a stop. Its a mashup of all the kind of stuff a good thrift shop/antique store should be. There isnt any rhyme or reason for what gos where and it it adds to tbe hunting experience..... THE GOOD, lots of neat stuff that you didnt know you wanted yet. THE BAD, some of the vendors are pretty proud of some of their stuff. There isnt a level spot in the store and I have trouble with that..... I keep coming back because it's an antique mall with everything you could ever want. All the spots are laid out well and the prices are reasonable. From little antique and oddities to the bigger items. Such friendly staff don't be afraid to leave items at the front as they pile up. Mediocre antique store. Nothing special to find. Nothing in great shape. Not sure how CD-ROM software gets considered antique. Only good thing was a section really hidden in the back corner (would not have seen it except for a customer leaving it) with old prints. A few nice paintings tucked away in other places in the back. Real turnoff was the staff. Staff was standing around at the front counter talking to each other. If they leave the counter to go into the back they rush by you looking away like they are afraid to talk to you. There is a separate store downstairs and they at least had a couple of staff out who asked if people needed assistance. read more

I just left my favorite antique shop in Bellingham and will not be returning until after covid passes or a new owner purchases the store. Too bad, one of the best MCM dealers sells really nice things as a vendor. I wish she had a website. What happened? I was waiting in a line to purchase my items and there was no social distancing happening. I asked if a few younger people could please give 6 ft. distance (which is law right now). The owner (Matt) rolled his eyes and made a snide remark after I asked for some space as I waited in a very cramped checkout area. He was obviously bothered that I wanted 6 ft (which in many instances here near checkout was impossible). The owners have not updated any of their checkout space or space in general like most places have in B'ham (i.e. makers with 6 ft. signs). I asked him why he would make such a sound and he got angry and stated that "this is just getting outrageous." I was shocked, but had already paid and was waiting for my glasses to be wrapped. The college age young people around me looked surprised by his response towards me. I said I probably shouldn't shop here if basic guidelines seemed "outrageous" to the owner. He said "good, now you can leave and don't come back!" Okay, and I hope other folks in B'ham can now be more aware that this is not a covid concerned space. read more

Omgoodness I hit the jackpot!! I just wish this store was located in San Diego(my hometown)It's never to early to buy Christmas presents and at the right price...this is one antique store not trying to make u go broke. They have a ton I mean a ton of items from our childhoods. I'm going back tomorrow at a time not so close to closing time so I can really reallllllllyyyy look at stuff. My son even found vintage 1960/1970 comic books for like 10 or 12$. This place is really nostalgic and the customer service is great the girl that rings u up is super sweet. The store is HUGE, but having visited many, many times I keep seeing the same stock sitting. Why? Overpriced merchandise. I would have given it 4 stars for size and variety but all 6 or 7 times I have visited over the past 12 months the same woman has been at the checkout and she is SO conceited and rude that I decided that my last trip would be my last trip. Above Aladdin's Antiques and Records is another antique store with less emphasis on vinyl, although they do have it, and I've found some cool things here. I consider it a 2-in-1, if I visit one store, I always visit the other. read more

I loved most of my experience here! I really loved exploring and there were a lot of choices! Everything was great but the service. I tried to smile and joke and got nothing in response. Really cool store but were treated extremely poorly and aggressively when someone I was with stepped out of the store while still holding something they hadn't paid for. It was completely on accident and we were immediately stormed with no chance to give an explanation and my friend wasn't even given an option to pay for the item and had his photo taken and a photo of his ID taken with no opportunity to even explain ourselves or apologize. Again, this was completely on accident we are all brand new to Bellingham and were just checking out the shops around. She told him he was never allowed back "EVER" or she would call the police. I understand that they probably have to work really hard to prevent theft in a store this big but the reaction was completely off putting and shook us up and I dont think any of us will be back for sometime. Great selection, fair pricing, very beautiful and well maintained displays (they have a BEAUTIFUL Instagram too). The staff has always been really lovely.
