I saw a sponsored ad on Instagram for this and immediately sent it to my friends. 5 of us booked a tub for a Sunday afternoon in July. Patricia and Chris were super welcoming and accommodating. The pre-trip lounge was swanky. My group was concerned about the tub water being too hot on a hot day... but Patricia assured us they take this into account and strive to make the temperature perfect - and she was right! The temp was truly perfect. We had so much fun cruising up and down the willamette listening to our playlist on the tub's Bluetooth speaker. Definitely a 10/10 experience! We were a group of 6 and had such a great time. The staff were super friendly and welcoming as soon as we came into the shop to check in. They gave us a run down of rules and things to expect and everything was said very thoroughly. The whole process was so smooth from checking us in and walking us into the dock. We had such a great time in the hot tub with our drinks, snacks, and our music connected to the boat's speaker. We will definitely do this again and recommend it to all our friends! I would definitely suggest getting to the shop to check in at least 20 minutes before your booked time (as stated in booking details) since other people in our party came late and we didn't get to have the full 2 hours but that was our fault. :) read more

We chartered a Saturday evening cruise and it was simply perfection! The boats are easy to drive, roomy, and super clean. There is plenty of space to store towels, bevs, and even a dry box to keep your phones safe during the trip. I have never had so much fun on the Willamette River! Holy smokes! Yacht Tubs is where it's at. We had so much fun. Clear expectations, a welcoming staff, and a fun time. We had a blast on our Yacht Tub! The employees were super nice and helpful. We added eucalyptus (+$18) to the tub and brought food/drinks to snack on for our 2 hour float. Boy did that water stay HOT! Maneuvering the boat is simple - careful on days with more current! We will absolutely do this again when we come back to Portland. My husband, friend, teenage son, and I booked a Yacht Tub on the last night of our 2 week Oregon vacation and the experience was a clear highlight of the vacation! Our booking was for 6-8pm on a Wednesday night in August. We arrived about 20mins early, as requested. There was ample parking nearby, reasonably priced. The Yacht Tub Club was easy to find - it was clean, well-equipped, and comfy. Allie greeted us and gave us a run-down of what to expect, and then gave us time to change and lock up our belongings. We brought a small cooler of drinks and a paper bag full of snacks - Allie gave us a soft cooler for the snacks since the paper bags tend to get wet and break (yep - we weren't thinking!). At the dock, Sean greeted us, helped us onto the boat, helped us connect our phone to the Bluetooth speaker, and gave my husband clear and easy instructions on how to control the boat. Allie and Sean gathered our coverups in an IKEA bag and our shoes in a bucket and loaded them into the dry storage area of the boat, along with our beverages and snacks. There was also a small dry box on the boat for phone storage with easy access (for taking photos and changing the music). Then we were off! We cruised down to Broadway Bridge, enjoying the unique view of Portland. Unfortunately, the steering went out when we got to Broadway Bridge and we were unable to navigate back. We called Allie at the number that was clearly provided on a laminated piece of paper. The first thing Allie asked was "Do we feel safe/are we in a safe location?" She shared that Sean would be down to help us ASAP and tow us if needed. Sean arrived and towed us back to the dock area - he was very professional and friendly, we enjoyed talking with him. When we arrived to the dock area, he gave us the option to drop anchor or tie to the dock to enjoy the rest of our 2hr time. Despite the minor hiccup, we still enjoyed our full 2hrs thanks to Allie and Sean being extremely professional, accommodating, and friendly. We highly recommend this experience and hope to do it again the next time we are in Portland! read more

We truly had a great time and would try this again someday for sure! The only issue was that our boat would not respond to the controls at all and would only turn left in circles no matter what we tried. E still enjoyed it and stayed close to the dock, but eventually we did have to call to get towed back in by the owner. They were very kind and responsive and getting towed back was easy, just wish the boat had worked so we could have explored the river a bit more. read more

SO. MUCH. FUN. One of the goofiest things I have done lately - went with 5 of my girlfriends on a gorgeously sunny day in February. From the minute we stepped into the office along the western RiverPlace above the Willamette, we were warmly greeted, well taken care of, and encouraged to have a great time. The boat is VERY easy to steer and the water is perfect. There's a place to stow your drinks and snacks and a great music set up. There was nothing we lacked! Alllmost the most hilarious part was walking to the boat....in our swimsuits and bathrobes. Lots of head swiveling going on. You know how sometimes really fun things that you sign liability waivers for can be run by people who are little too focused on the possible downsides and they kill the vibe? Not the case here! It felt like the only other people who were enjoying themselves as much as we were, were the two people who worked there. That says a lot about the company. Try it! read more

Alcohol is allowed, but not sold here - so BYOB (no glass). The boat controls took me a bit to get used to, but that was the only challenge. This place is a complete scam, beware. They offer no insurance on the boats you use and don't tell you the condition of them. Literally being charged for damage to the boat when we didn't even do anything besides follow their instructions. The girl Ally said she had only worked their for 3 months and it was rare that this happened but she's seen it happen 3 times? sounds fishy. On top of it they were joking over the walkie talkie saying they would t charge us if we tipped well? I will be spreading the word over social media and my friends to NEVER waste their money here. read more

We texted them multiple times while we were out on the boat asking if anything was wrong because all of a sudden the boat started going 2 mph, and they never responded. Even when we got off the boat they didn't say anything. And then finally when we got to the cash register they told us about the additional $109 for "breaking the propeller".
