Wanted to do something spontaneous and fun while our family was in town. Called at 10 am when they opened ( about 10 different times ) until a woman picked up. She was really nice and answered all my questions. Our rental was for 12:30 and we left with ample time. The website address let us to a "resort style living complex" We drove around for 20 minutes looking for a sign for X-Treme Rentals as well as called AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN 20 times to get clarification on where this place was. To get to these rentals? You have to go through the living complex, past the pools on site and down the narrowest ramp. The older gentleman who helped us had ZERO customer service. He was rude, condescending and un-accommodating. No one told me on the phone that we'd be doing 15 minutes of paperwork before our rental. Add that, to the fact that we were only late because the directions weren't clear and NO ONE ended up answering there phone for help - and we were all pissed. I explained my frustration and the person helping us was dismissive and didn't care nor was he apologetic for any miscommunication and the fact that it one phone call was answered. We didn't get to actually use them till 12:45 - 15 minutes of our 1 hour rental gone. Also, when deposits are taken as collateral - I've never had the money actually taken out of my account - just a hold. I know am out 1,000 ( for 2 jet skis ) until they refund my money. UPDATE: Charged our card FOR FULL AMOUNT. Long and short of it: So disappointed! Overview: - Sent a confirmation email. - Charged our card. - Confirmed the day before over text. - Did not deliver the boat. - Condescendingly said he had never spoken with me. Story: Last Friday, I called X-treme Rentals to book a ski boat for our work outing in Washington. First off, I could NOT get ahold of them on the phone for the life of me. Every time I called, I got a voicemail box for "Luxury Limousines." Finally, I was told that the owner, Rick, would reach out with more information on how to transport a boat to the park in Washington. A little bit later, I received a call from Rick. He told me that he didn't mind dropping the boat off. He sent me an email confirmation of the cost. See attached photo. Fast forward to this past Wednesday (two days ago). I sent Rick a text asking him if there was anything else I needed to do to confirm the reservation for our event the next day (Thursday). See attached photo. He RESPONDED and said no. It sounded like everything was settled. Thursday rolls around. The time came for the boat to be at the park. No boat. I called Rick and he claimed he didn't remember who I was. He had "no text from that number the day before." We had "no confirmation that they would deliver a boat." He was condescending and unbelievably rude. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND a single component of this "business." They rented us faulty equipment which could've led to an injury had we not noticed before putting it on the water. RENTING THROUGH THIS COMPANY IS NOT WORTH IT! The employees and owner are unresponsive and quite honestly shady with transactions. This company is definitely overpriced for a boat that barely stayed together on the river and an inner tube that could've taken someone underwater. We have them a deposit to rent a pontoon boat pre-Covid and due to bad weather we canceled. They told us they would keep $100 but we could use this for a future rental. I have tried several times to to call them leaving messages to call me back to make sure we still have a credit coming. Nothing. No return calls. Rented a pontoon boat, good condition, the guy who helps was nice... but the owner is not a good business person, seems like a common thread. Terrible communication, and charged me $250 for a lost anchor (which was grabbed by the current so hard, I had no choice but to let go).. it is a $50 anchor with $15 worth of rope. Totally out of line... and zero response. I unfortunately already had booked a jetski for a later date, wanted to cancel based off the bad experience.. cancelling is impossible, and based off of the other people I am concerned I will lose more money if I reschedule.. highly suggest not using this company. We have rented boats 2x with X-treme, and both times we had a terrific customer experience. Our rental experience yesterday was pitch-perfect. The two employees were eager to help us haul our mass of supplies down to the boat. They carefully walked us through the rental agreements and waivers etc. and had ready answers to my questions. They helped us load the boat, and even helped us settle in with a myriad of helpful acts like unloading our beverage cooler into the built-in coolers below the seats. Their aim was to get us settled and on the water so we could enjoy as much time in the boat as possible. The company takes safety seriously and it was clear that the employees knew they played important role in our having a safe day. After the safety briefing we were off. After a great day we gassed up at Donaldson's Marine about a mile upriver. ( Do leave time for the refueling process at rhe end of your day. About 20-30 minutes to fuel, 10-15 back to the home marina). Back at X-treme's facility the employees made docking easy, a huge plus for an inexperienced operator like me. Again the helped us unload the boat, and helped shuttle our gear up to our car. These folks did a terrific job. Because of them we had a terrific, relaxing day celebrating a special occasion. Worst customer service ever. I booked a reservation over a month ago on 6/18/18, to take a jetski to a family reunion at Lake Merwin. Rick offered to meet me the night before 7/26/18 to pick it up, or deliver it for an extra $100. The 2 day rental would be a Friday and Saturday, with me returning it Saturday evening. It took me 3 days to contact Rick. I was told twice by his employee Robert that Rick was in court and he would call me back. I never received a call back from Rick. I finally got a hold of him at 7pm today (7/25/18). He was extremely rude, confused, and kept making excuses of how busy he has been all week with a court case. After giving my name, the dates, and details 3 times - Rick finally told me I could come at 7:30 or 8pm, Thursday 7/26/18. He told me to call back in 30 minutes, so he could talk with Robert about meeting me. I expressed how frustrated I was, how I am trying to pack, get the final items in my RV trailer, and go to the grocery store. I told Rick, "It would be nice to have some level of customer service provided, and have you call me back". Rick stayed he would "make this easy for both of us, and cancel the reservation with a full refund.".... so here I am, hung up on by the "owner", with no jetski and 3 dozen people (family members) camping 4 nights. I booked online and all we had to do was sign some agreements, get some basic education and off we went. He even told us how to approach the gas station. Can't wait to do it again. My posse of 12 golfing ladies wanted to do an outside event and we decided on a pontoon rental. We brought appetizers and libations and had the pontoon for 3 hours and it was one of the most fun things we did as a group. We are planning to do it again this summer as it needs to be repeated. I wish I could leave 0 starts as we paid $700 and received nothing. The worst customer experience I have ever had. We could never get ahold of them. Followed the cancellation policy and then they claimed we didn't? Due to the fact they have two numbers listed and the one on their website isn't the right one for their business. We emailed and called multiple times and then they called us back yelling at us on the phone because it was a busy weekend for them and they have a boat now not in use. Even though we gave proper notification days in advance. All in all- they made us pay for the whole day and then said we could get a credit. Never got credit and never could get ahold of them again. Even tried physically stopping by their business and it is literally non-existent. Please follow the reviews and not book with this business. read more

Where to start: 1. Booked a jet ski for 2hrs with friends doing the same. 2. Elected to rent a boat instead for 4 hrs. 3. Was not issued a refund on our first reservation and required to pay for the new one. 4. Issued me a "credit" to use a jet ski for 2 hrs, and every time I ask and try to redeem the play dumb, take my number, promise a call back, and it never comes!! Highly recommend to avoid this place at all costs!! The equipment and machines are shabby, broken, and will probably try to charge you if they haven't noted the prior damages. Doug and Nathan took great care of us! we originally made an appointment to celebrate my roommate getting a job. We had to cancel the original appointment last minute because we got stuck in traffic. Nathan worked with us to find a time to reschedule, and made sure that we got our full hour on the jet skis, even though we showed up to our appointment late! Pretty disappointed with our experience over all for the following reasons: 1. Price: SK rentals $185-210/4 hrs, Xtreme rentals $200/4 hrs + sales tax (for some reason despite the physical location being in OR). So Xtreme rentals comes in more expensive with the inclusion of tax. 2. Jetskis. I know this is subjective however, I much preferred the SeaDoo's at SK due to ease of engaging reverse (separate trigger on the left handlebar) vs a clumsy handle to pull on the seat with the Xtreme rental craft (Yamaha Waverunners). The overall condition on the watercraft was poor with multiple cracks in the fiberglass bodywork. While I know these are rental craft, the Jetski's I rented from SK rentals were in overall better condition. If it matters to you, the Yamaha's are noticeably slower: my top speed at 47 mph on the Yamaha compared to SK's SeaDoos at 55, they are both governed but those were the top speeds I achieved. 3. Fuel: The jetski I rented from Xtreme rentals initially showed a full tank. However, by the time I got past the interstate bridge I was already missing 1-2 bars from my fuel gauge while the other jetskis in my party were not. I know its unavoidable on Xtreme rentals part, but perhaps they can find a more accurate way to gauge fuel level. For instance SK rentals upon return used a dipstick type device to assess the fuel level which I feel is more consistent and fair. Plus the fuel surcharge for SK rentals were not nearly as atrocious as Xtreme rentals. Furthermore, after my experience (read below), I would not trust Xtreme rentals to accurately bill me for the actual fuel added (how would I verify the amount post hoc). SK rentals told me at the time of the return how much fuel needed to be added via their measuring device, which I could witness first hand. 4. Overall experience: I was part of the group of four whose reviews you will see. Unfortunately we had the dilemma of deciding if we were going to return the Jetski's without a full tank and pay the $20 fee plus $6 per gallon or return the Jetski's late. We decided to save Xtreme rentals the hassle of fueling up 4 Jetski's and get their Jetski's taken care of. Unfortunately there was an unforeseen delay at Davidson Fuel (even the employees apologized for the delay) which resulted in our group being ~45 min late. We explained the situation to Austin who was reporting to his boss (Dave?) hoping he would be sympathetic. There were no other groups waiting for our Jetski's to return so Xtreme rentals did not lose any customers due to our tardiness (this was confirmed early in the day by Austin who mentioned 2 other Jetski rentals going out after us but they had spare jetski's). I tipped Austin a twenty for the inconvenience of waiting 45 min for us. We all thought everything was cool until I get en email stating an additional $75 charge has been added. As I am typing this I ask myself "would I rent from a business that values wringing their customers out for as much money as possible versus good customer care, communication, and establishing repeat customers?". Apparently $75 dollars is more important than establishing a loyal customer and referral base. If you made it to this point and was wondering why 2 instead of 1 star. Well, the additional star is for Austin who helped us out with the rentals. He was a friendly, affable guy and got us setup pretty quickly. Once you're out on the water it doesn't matter where you rent from; you're going to have a great time. But for our next planned boat and jetski rental we will be going with another company. read more

I was contacted on Thursday with a poor excuse about how the boat was double booked and the other reservation was for 6/14 & 6/15. At $680 per day it is pretty obvious that someone inquired to rent the boat and the owner decided to take the extra money instead of honoring my reservation. read more

We rented two jet skis for an hour, and had a fabulous time. The customer service was great - they were easy to work with. Also the jet skis worked well, were easy to use, and we didn't need to stop to fuel them up (included in the rental cost) so we got to have fun on the skis for our entire rental time. read more

Terrible, wave runners not there when booked & paid online....3 weeks later & no refund....ruined our day in Portland

My friends and I rented skis for 4 hours. We quickly realized they were governed at around 45 mph, which is slower than we expected. We arrived to the nearest gas station before our 4 hour time window was over, but there was an extremely long line. We opted to fill our tanks and return the skis late, rather than create an inconvenience for the employees by returning them near empty. We also knew that there wasn't high demand for the jet skis on our particular day, so we figured we weren't keeping the skis from other potential renters at 3pm. To our surprise, we each were hit with a $75 late fee the next day. None of us will be renting here again. We'll go back to SK rentals in the future, since we've had no problems with them and the skis are faster. read more

My friend rented a Jetski (Yamaha) for us for four hours. I'd never ridden before and she had just been a passenger previously. When I arrived, I walked through the building past the pools and down a normal sized boat ramp to the docks. It was easy to find the person in charge of renting, who was helpful in getting us licensed for the day (no extra charge), told us where to refuel and how, shared tips on operating the Jetski and suggestions of where to go as well as what parts of the river are currently low. The Jetski was great fun. I will say that at a full tank, sometimes the angle of the Jetski will make the tank read two bars low, but this is a minor issue as I refilled just a mile east at Donaldson's (normal gas prices). The Jetski was governed at about 45mph, but that wasn't an issue for us, it might be for someone who wants an 'extreme' experience or who feels the need to go much faster. We didn't have any issues with reservations. Do be aware that there is paperwork to fill out (just as if you are renting a car), so arrive a bit early. It took us well under 20 minutes. Some of the other reviews that are lower seem valid, and some seem like whiners. I suspect the truth lies somewhere in between. read more
