A lot of restaurants have been cutting corners and sacrificing quality to turn a quick buck, but not here. Detroit 75 is representing their city well. I'm not sure if they're the 3rd best food truck in the country as currently rated, but it's the best I've tried in years. 4.56 stars.

I'm gonna start with the egg rolls, they were by far the best part. Absolutely fantastic flavor and the #75 sauce made it even better. The chicken tenders were good; but the fries were not that great. Maybe piling the tenders on top made them soggy but we ate it within minutes of receiving it. The house ranch made them better. The Atwater chicken has a lot of potential, the garlic cilantro aioli needed some salt or something, you can taste it has good body just lacked punch. So the chicken sandwich was just ok. Service: Amazing, my brother made good recommendations and they were pretty quick about getting the order ready. Always appreciate a kind face that doesn't need to rush you as you ask questions. Ambiance: You can get expensive gas while you wait for your food. I'm sure it's an awesome spot when the weather is warm. It's definitely a spot to come back to. We enjoyed our meal.

My wife and I have been running errands and wanted to try something new for supper and found this place on yelp. When we arrived it seemed a little quiet, but the hostess/waitress quickly appeared and showed us to a table. From there everything went smoothly. I opted for a plate of enchiladas, and found them to be very well prepared and seasoned. The salsa had that wonderful tomato forward texture to it that I enjoy very much. The room is small, and it's clear that they get most of their business on carryout. That being said I think if you showed up with a somewhat larger party they would be glad to take care of you. They certainly took good care of us.

Being that I'm on this side of town for a few days, I figured it was finally time to check it out. The location's much bigger with more seating than the Rochester Hills one. Nicely decorated with ample seating, you order at the counter and they run the food out to you. Not sure if they have waitresses or not, but that's how they were running it when I was there. I asked if they had Birria tacos and the man behind the counter said they do, just not on the menu. I ordered the taco dinner with shredded beef, rice, beans and a glass of water. I got served chips and dip which was okay, but the salsa was a bit runny for my liking. The "hot" salsa was good, and wasn't overpowering. Eventually, my food came out and it was a huge portion! I was impressed with all three tacos, rice and beans. It was only $13 on the menu, so I was happy with how much food I was served. The beef was a little on the dry side but still fairly good. Rice and beans were decent, but the music was a bit on the louder side. I docked a star for the meat being a bit dry and louder music considering it wasn't really necessary. The man who rang me up was super nice and friendly and also went through the menu with me since I had a few questions before ordering. Overall, a decent meal for the price and I'd return in the future.

Tried the Texas Twinkie breakfast burrito during brunch (asked for it without the BBQ sauce)…read more I ordered online and it did take about an hour, which wasn't provided as an estimate until after submitting my order. They said it was due to the grill being backed up, but to their credit, it was ready right when I arrived and tasted fresh. The burrito itself was really solid. The grilled cheese crust on the outside was a nice touch, but what stood out even more was the underside--it had this flaky, crispy texture that made every bite satisfying. Flavor-wise, the bacon definitely carried the dish with a great smoky taste, and you'd occasionally get a nice kick from the jalapeño. The eggs were there, but I didn't notice many had brown potatoes. The few that were in there had that slightly chewy/hard/gummy texture you get from like next-day reheated hash browns, so I'm not sure what was going on there. Fresh, crispy potatoes or even their fresh fries would have taken this to the next level. Overall though, really good burrito with great texture and strong smoky flavor--just a couple tweaks away from being excellent! Also got 5 wings to try, with Carolina Gold sauce. They were great!
