Food is okay and well priced. I think the lady working the front on 1/5/2020 wasn't the most pleasing to talk with. I placed an order and felt very rushed. She was also yelling to someone in the back that she needed help and you can tell she was very frustrated. It was awkward as a customer to hear. Overall, food is okay. Got lunch here for the office, called in my order. The guy who answered the phone was very nice and patient with a large order. When I picked up my food everything was already in the bag including 6 white sauces! The food was much better than other japanese places as well, portions are huge! read more

Doing 4 stars, only because I haven't tried the sushi yet, and the mushroom soup was OK. I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi with the fried rice, and my fiancé got the chicken bowl. The hibachi plate had enough food for 3 people and was under $15 so that itself was a steal (so much so I may get just that with extra chicken next time to feed us all) The veggies were cooked well, not too soft and not too hard. The shrimp was nice and flavorful, and not over/under cooked. I'm not one for ordering seafood that isn't at the beach, but I had a craving for it so I tried it out. I'm extremely glad I did. It was all seasoned really well too and the white sauce they have is amazing! Chicken bowl was a good lunch size, if not a dinner size if you eat portions correctly. Worth the price as well. Pros: - Good price for quality/quantity of food - Didn't charge for extra sauce - Good Customer Service - Nice lighting (we had carry out, but if I didn't have my toddler we probably would've ate in - doesn't feel like your typical carry out joint) Cons: - Took 15 minutes to get food (only a con if you're in a hurry, I went over to the neighborhood Wal-Mart, after ordering, for a few small groceries so the wait wasn't an issue for me) - Mushroom soup wasn't as flavorful as other places I've tried, but it was still tasty All in all, if you like hibachi and live nearby definitely give this place a chance. This is one restaurant I really hope survives in Hope Mills, because I'm over the basic row of fast food places. read more

I go here often and the food is good but the cashier at the front desk that always dresses in sweatpants with the glasses is extremely rude!!! Her attitude is horrible and the way she treats to customers is the reason that my friends and I will not be back. A child could do a better job. read more

Pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of food. Stopped in for a quick bite on my lunch break, the chicken bowl came out within 5-10 mins. Lost a star for the tea; it had a very strange aftertaste. Almost like Peak tea, but definitely a strange tasting tea. read more

My family and I stopped here for dinner on our way through town. Pretty standard as far as express Japanese food goes. The woman working the counter was friendly and funny. The food was pretty good and they gave you a huge amount. The only thing I wish is that they had actual dishes for people who chose to eat in. read more

The sushi was NOT that good. Honestly the only good thing in the whole place was the blue tree, very cool.

The inside is very small but very nice. The blue tree was pretty awesome. The young guy at the counter was nice while taking my order. I order the filet and chicken plate. I thought it was nice that it came with salad or soup. I got the soup. The order was done very quickly. I did notice one lady eating her food and her facial expression said that she wasn't very pleased with her food. The man she was with picked over both of their plates as if he was very happy with it either. I got home and began eating my food. It was not good at all!! The soup had a stale taste. The rice was mushy as if it was cooked way too long. The filet and chicken didn't have any salt, pepper, soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. It was completely plain! The filet didn't even have any taste to it at all. I tried adding soy sauce but it just wasn't salvageable. Their white sauce is gross as well. It tastes like it's made with miracle whip. Blah! I threw pretty much all of my food away. I will not be going back to the place and I don't recommend it at all. read more
