A small ramen shop that not only had amazing ramen, but the highest level customer service. They don't have an overwhelmingly complex menu with dozens of options. You can tell they specialize in ramen or udon. I got the karage ramen with spicy miso broth. Wasn't oily, or heavy, but it wasn't as spicy as I thought. The ramen wasn't too squishy, but I did think the karage pieces were slightly too big. However, fresh chicken pieces and fried very well. The customer service surprised me. We watched the manager or owner, not sure who he was but take great interest in caring for his customers. He came up often to ask how we are doing and even saw him help an elder lady take her orders to her car because she couldn't carry everything. The food was excellent but the service was just poor. I understand they were a little busy but just the quality of service was not great at all. One of the servers was nice but pretty much forgot bringing us everything, we had to request drink refills numerous of times, they had zero clean forks and the other server brought the passion fruit drinks and the mango tea that look Identical and just dropped it at our table without letting us know which drink was which. It just was really annoying. I'm sure they were doing their best with the staff they had but that's your time to make your service even better and communicate with your guest. We visited for the first time and was utterly surprised by the atmosphere and service. our waiter was phenomenal. You can tell that he really enjoys his job. He assisted us with menu knowledge, portion sizes and kid-friendly options. Had a great time dining in here. The restaurant can seat maybe 8-10 tables and also has a bar seating area as well. It's clean and the design of it was really nice. I enjoyed the atmosphere and simplicity of it. Food: The tonkotsu ramen was really good, the broth could have been a little bit better but it was still enjoyable. Pork belly was cooked through and ramen was not over cooked. I love it when the ramen doesn't come out soggy. The donburi bowl was even better! I'd recommend their pork belly donburi as must try! I also ordered a Thai tea, it was not too sweet but great addition to the meal. The service was phenomenal, greeted when we first walked in and throughout our time in the restaurant we were well taken care of by the servers to ensure everything was going good. My noodle came with some of it still clamp together, its precooked but the one i got wasn't heated enough hence felt just a bit more harder/chewy. The runny yolk and charsiu is very good. My shoyu broth is okay, asked me if i want spicy and i said yes but i was expecting chili paste. its chili oil instead. Huge difference as the oil will be on top of the broth as chili paste will blend into the broth For me at 14'ish per bowl, i still go to my fav spot Ramen Tsubaki (and they offer extra noodle like typical ramen house in japan just for extra 2usd!!! ) great value and ramen noodle for me is the best in Fayetteville so far. We ordered crab sunomono and some gyozas dumplings as a starter and boy, it was a great refreshing appetizers. The gyozas with that mouth watering dipping sauce is amazing. The main dish I ordered was the Katsu don added some bean sprouts and edamame beans. Which was a dollar extra. Also we got beef curry plate. are very good and big portions. First let me say this place is freaking fantastic. The atmosphere when you walk in was super inviting and the individuals who work there are very welcoming and friendly. The friend I was with ordered the shrimp tempura curry... the gyoza was fantastic. Flavorful and the ponzu sauce was great. My ramen was top notch! Everything was perfectly cooked. The fried onions on top nice and crispy, pork was tender and fell apart in the bowl, the broth I could drink on its own. My friend loved her curry and wanted to lick her plate to get all the curry sauce! Service was amazing. They were all so attentive and nice. Easily answered questions and never felt like we were bothering or sitting too long. The place is on the smaller side but plenty of space and you can sit at the ramen bar if you want instead of a table.
