I ordered a Mother's Day arrangement for a dear friend of ours. She has known me since 1967 - 1968, we were neighbors on North Jackson Street. My delivery date was scheduled for Mothers Day, May 11th, 2025. Unfortunately, no one in the shop caught the delivery date and delivered it a day or so after my order date of May 2nd. Whhaaaa! I received a call (I believe from Jamie or Katie, name escapes me now) nonetheless, they insisted on sending a "complimentary" similar arrangement ON Mother's Day. Now this is what I call the "EPITOME" of Customer Service. The complimentary arrangement arrived to my recipient/friend on Mother's Day and it was spectacular. Just as good as my ordered, but early delivered, arrangement. Larsen Florist bends over backwards to make things right when mistakes happen, which are far and few between. In my opinion, Larsen Florist is the best in the business. Hmmm, and they have been in business for over 150 years now -- that fact alone, speaks volumes. Living over 1700+ miles away from my hometown, I will choose no one else for floral arrangements delivered or otherwise. Larsen Florist is wonderful. Thank you for your continued commerce is my missed hometown of Waukegan. I just love you, your customer service and your beautiful flowers.

The woman I spoke to was condescending and just outright rude. Not everyone knows everything about flowers! She asked me if I am "on the web" and to bring in pictures of exactly what I want. Pardon me for wanting something unique and creative. I thought I'd bring in pictures once I knew what was in season or not, I didn't want to make their lives difficult.
