shrimp, broccoli, and rice in a styrofoam container

Decent fast food stop for standard Chinese take-out. Nothing exceptional, just your usual Chinese-American food, but they do provide friendly service. I've had their chicken with broccoli over rice, shrimp with broccoli over rice, beef with broccoli over rice (apparently I like broccoli), hot and sour soup, and various noodles, and they've all been consistently good. No complaints

Although this place is technically in Queens it is not far from where I usually go shopping for stuff, especially since this is near the closest Rite-Aid and Duane Reade drug stores. So after I dropped into Rite-Aid for some allergy medication late this afternoon, my mother calls to tell me to pick up dinner for myself. Since I was just finished in the Rite-Aid I stopped in here since I haven't been in here since 2006 9when I moved to DC). I ordered one shrimp egg roll and a small (pint) chicken with broccoli. The order came up in 5 minutes. Most Chinese fast food places in the area do not charge sales tax. However this one does.

Love their food! I have never been disappointed. Their spicy chicken fried rice and chicken wings is bomb!

Saturday lunch in Richmond Hill, Queens call upon chicken steamed dumplings for $7.00. I always…read morehave a predilection for Chinese steam dumplings as I can eat it all day for lunch and dinner including brunch. There were a total of ten (10) pieces which is generous size as most Chinese takeout cafes provide the standard eight (8) pieces for shrinkage resulting from inflationary pressures and the uphill battle to sustain increased operational costs. It was accompanied with soy sauce as condiment. The dumplings were fresh and average. Customer service is average. Sales receipt is provided upon request and is handwritten the old school way. There is one large oversized takeout menu for grabs which the associate blatantly upfront stated: "the prices will be change and this menu is going to be outdated." Well, at least I can review the menu for the food options offered - not noting the price. The interior ambiance dark, dingy and very dated to 1980s era. Sometimes, I even make the trip all the way from Staten Island to come here [yes, because I have nothing better to do :) ] Their food can be a bit greasy but I figured I only live once. And honestly, who eats Chinese if isn't on their cheat day while wearing sweats? I love their chicken and broccoli. It is my favorite thing to order from them. While, their chicken lo mien is good, it tastes like the other standard Chinese food take out places. Seriously, their chicken is soft and almost melts in your mouth. The broccoli is cooked to perfection, it is neither too soft or stiff. The staff is very nice and attentive. I have been ordering here for years and even after moving -- 8 years later they still remember my voice and order.
