The restaurant and the food itself are actually really good. The meals are tasty, fresh, and arrive in good condition, so I don't have any complaints about the kitchen or the quality of the food. However, the delivery experience has been very uncomfortable. On my last order, I only had $13 left in my bank account and paid $11 for the food. When the delivery driver arrived, he immediately demanded a tip. I explained that I didn't have cash, but he insisted that I send him a tip through Zelle. He stood there and refused to leave until I did it. He literally watched me open my banking app, saw that I only had $2 left in my account, and still waited while I sent those last $2 as a tip. He even checked to make sure the payment went through before leaving. I want to be clear that I do tip when I can, because I understand that delivery drivers work hard. But sometimes money is tight and people are just trying to afford food. Being pressured and essentially forced to tip is extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. read more

Perhaps it was my fault for trying a Thai dish at a Chinese restaurant, but my boyfriend was in the mood for some Chinese and I was not, so I ordered some Pad Thai. It was the worst rendition of Pad Thai that I had ever had. I got served a plate of plain rice noodles with 6 of the tiniest boiled shrimp, a dusting of crushed peanuts and a half a lemon. Not wedges of lemon...a half. Aren't they supposed to stir fry the noodles in some pad thai sauce or something? Maybe the cooks were high and forgot. I mixed between 2-3 stars. Mr. Wonton is usually my go to neighborhood Chinese for CERTAIN dishes but... they don't take cards over the phone. This became an issue for me so I started ordering through yelp. Through yelp you pay extra for the food, charged for delivery and another fee which was ok but when I spent 19.71 and asked where was my free soda she said I had to spend 20.00.. FYI i order all the time and on the menu it's says spend over 15 get free soda. It sounds petty but it's the principal to me, I'm willing to spend a little extra, I order from there a lot and been a long time customer and always give between 15-20% tip. Fast, free delivery, and got a ton of food for around $11 plus tip. Curry shrimp lunch special is huge and the shrimp are big and fresh tasting. Only minor complaint is the wonton soup; it was ok, but had no pork and didn't come with any crispy noodles. Still a good lunch (and probably dinner too).
