I had been searching for a good Chinese take-out for quite some time. Yang's had everything I was looking for--white meat chicken, good fried rice, quick service and an added plus, a drive thru. Not impressed at all. Had Chinese food a while back and remember enough that I've never wanted it again. Tried a sub today and it was ok but nothing great. New York sub with meats, onions,oil and a little lettuce. They also microwaved it which just doesn't sit well with me. It was cold in the middle with chewy microwave ends. The meats seemed to be decent quality but I will probably not try this place again for a long while. Food was quick and the people working were nice enough. read more

First of all, I think the most important thing I can write here is that I really enjoy this place. I am satisfied with the food, the service is great and it's conveniently located to where I spend a lot of my time. That out of the way, I think it's also important to define what Yang's is and is not. Don't go to Yang's expecting it to compare with many of the other delis and sandwhich shops in town, however, do expect them to blow the pants off any of the other fast-food chains you might otherwise go to for lunch. If I have the time to drive around the city and to fill a particular craving, I won't go to Yang's, but if I want want good, quick food, Yang's is great. I enjoy their gyros, wings and cheesesteak. I'm a Louisiana native and while their muffuletta isn't very authentic, it is still a very good sandwhich - call it muffuletta inspired - at a good price. read more

Yang's (Mediterranean) Deli... LOL. It isn't high asian cuisine folks I love this place. I just wish it were closer to my house. Never had anything from there that wasn't delicious. I've never had the pizza or the chinese offerings, only the sandwiches and muffeletas. Be aware, that there don't seem to be a lot of people eating there in the evenings. This place is great! I haven't eaten anything here that I don't like. It's close to work so it's simple to call them & tell them what I need, then I drive to the window to pick up. This place has always been a Drive In tradition for me I go here before seeing a double or triple feature down the road @ the summer drive in. everytime I've come here I've been happy with whatever I ordered from his pizza when he once had it on the menu to he many other variety of sandwiches to the many Chinese style foods he offers on the menu from General So's chicken to his Gyro's and rubens. Yangs is very smart to not to offer refills on his soda's and other stuff but his tea and believe me once ya had his tea you could care less soda is not refillable I love his iced tea better then any other places around I could fill a blue barrel of it put it on a trailor have one of those small plastic flexable clear pipes that are used on pool waterslides and drink a blue barrel full of it sitting in my backseat or on trailor talk about a big gulp. other then that when it comes to Deli style sandwiches I'd give Yangs beyond ***** don't get the soda no free refills and ya can get soda anywhere his Ice Tea is where it's at read more

Just absolutely gross. Their Gyro is so basic. If you want a good Gyro, go to Petra Cafe. The deli sub I ordered was on super white bread, made with very cheap chopped up deli meat. I couldn't even finish it. To top it off there was a black hair in the red dish they served it on. read more

It doesn't matter if you get Chinese, wings, or a sandwich, everything is great. Portions are usually too large. Don't expect the ambiance of PF Chang's. It is great food at a great price. I have been going to Yang's every since Chuck, the original owner was in charged, and now it is owned by a previous worker that used to work for Chuck, him and his family are all co-owners of it. Very kind and caring people, definitely go here, the food is really good. Yangs started off as a sandwich shop, but recently they have added Chinese to the meun, now I agreed the Chinese that is served here isn't like the Chinese that you would get an actual Chinese buffet, but it still decently good. read more

They recently just did their place over, and it looks great! A great Berclair eating spot, close to the highway, and good portion sizes. The variety on the menu is GREAT if you have a large group who can't make up their minds on where to go, or picky eaters. This places defines ad hoc. There are handwritten signs everywhere, attached to whatever happens to be in proximity, such as the "sweet tea" sign taped to the power cord of the sweet tea machine. It's the kind of place where you overhear an employee muttering "f***ing n****r" after they returned some food and were out the door. However, you aren't here for that. You're here for a cheap sandwich that doesn't suck, and that's exactly what you'll get. I was in search of a place that does Gyro's around my workplace, and they serve it up, pretty cheap, relatively quick, and without a whole lot of fuss.
