My engagement and wedding rings were designed and bought from Yanina & Co in 2004, I walked in today, July 19, 2024 to get them resized.... The person working there (Mrs. Miranda) still remembered my first name and maiden name!!! Incredible! She is wonderful! They resized my rings more than 1 1/2 rings sizes bigger for only $80 each. They did it on the premises and adjusted it to my finger as I waited. Hartgers in Wyckoff, NJ was going to charge me $350 per ring !!! Hartgers would have to keep my rings and send it out (guess their guy was on vacation). Yanina&Co is the best, literally! They cleaned up and fixed up my rings as standard procedure! I was floored by the hospitality, the standard of service at this beautiful store. I've purchased a very simple but stunning necklace in the store well over 10 years ago. I've been wearing the necklace on a regular basis & it has broken quite a number of times & had it fixed (differed) at local jewelry stores. The breakage was not due to the quality of the workmanship but to my own fault as it's extremely delicate and I should not have showered & slept in it. I get compliments on the necklace every single day I've worn it. I decided to make the trip to NJ from NY to see if they can fix it in a way it would no longer break. Not only did they fix it on the spot but they also refused payment for this service, which was not their fault whatsoever! Obviously they stand behind their products, no questions asked. I was recommended to Yanina and Co by family as they have been going to them for 20 years. I have seen rings, necklaces and earrings given as Christmas presents and they have been nothing but gorgeous, sparkling and unique. EXPERIENCE GETTING A PIECE MADE: I had several pieces from my family that I wanted to get remade so I brought a hodgepodge of rings into them to be assessed, not knowing if anything would even be in my budget. I worked with Gina and explained the situation, and she was super helpful and made me feel completely comfortable with the process. We decided to take the diamond from one of my rings and place it in a necklace, we chose the chain and she explained that they would make a custom bezel for it and how it would look. It was going to be tiny because I couldn't afford to add more diamonds to it but Gina still got me very excited about it. It cost around $200 for me to do this and they were able to turn it around for me within a week because I'm from out of town and family have been customers for a long time but the average time would be 4-6 weeks which I was prepared for. When I picked the necklace up it was everything I wanted and I'm excited to wear this every day. STORE IN GENERAL: Once I finished with my piece of course I wandered around, reminding myself to stop drooling. They have about 15 cases that are organized very well by type of piece and none are overfilled so you are able to look at each piece individually. They honestly have something in there for every type of taste, from simple and elegant diamond necklaces to multicolored statement pieces for the most elegant of black tie events. read more

Not happy with Yanina...or her service. After being recommended by a friend, my husband and I went to have some custom pieces made. My husband wanted a wedding band made using diamonds from a ring he had from his grandmother. A design was recommended and produced. Within one month a stone fell out of the band. The store said he must be wearing it when he works out....not true...but they said they would replace the stone this ONE time but that would be it. The band was designed and made BY THEM. I asked them to do whatever needed to be done to prevent further loss of any stones. Well....within a few weeks another stone fell out!! I didn't call again because I was told previously not to bother. Losing stones is bad enough, but when they have great sentimental value....it is even worse. After 15 years of patronage, I bought a pair of diamond earrings from Yanina. A few months later, I noticed a crack in one of the stones. Yanina's brother told me that I must have broken the diamond (!) and will have to pay thousands of dollars to replace it. He and Yanina also told me that I should have insured the stone to get the insurance company to pay the bill. I then sent the stone to the Gemological Institute of America. Here is what GIA wrote back to me: "A foreign material has been artificially introduced into surface reaching fractures, which precludes quality analysis and origin of color determination." To translate, Yanina rewarded my long-standing loyalty by pushing a cracked stone on me and refusing to replace it at no cost to me. Truly, buyer beware! read more
