I have ordered online from Hallmark and shipped to home or picked up orders there, so I assumed that Hallmark and the Paper Store are one and the same. Not the case. Today, I picked up an order but upon opening immediately in the car, I found that one product was loose in the box and broken in 3 pieces. One other item was missing altogether. Two items were in good order, just poorly boxed which is unusual for Hallmark but it is their busy season. I had the pre-paid order detail and after going back and forth with Paper Store Manager and Hallmark Manager (on-site), i was told they couldn't help me with a refund or exchange because they aren't Hallmark. I had no idea. It was not a good customer service experience but I've never had a problem there before, just the opposite. The one time I did I was basically told we can't help you and there's nothing we can do. You have to deal with Hallmark even though they carry the same products in the store. I was told I could purchase them from them though but not an exchange. Just want to share if you pick up an order there and you have a problem they can't help with it. It's just a pickup place. We got a coupon and shopping bag...then! She came around to the other side of the counter handed us our bag and said have a nice evening! The deal of the day was buy 2 get 2 free. I had 1 large one and 3 small ones. I only picked the large one because they didn't carry that fragrance in a smaller one, otherwise I would have chosen all small ones. The cashier said, "why don't you get get another large one instead? It'll be the same price." I was confused, and asked why. She said "because they're buy 2 get 2." I said yes, I'm getting two small ones for free. She said right. I said I'm paying for a big one and a small one. She said right. I said I don't want to pay for two bigs ones. The light bulb went off and she said "Oh! Of course. You must work in retail." [I don't - I'm just on a budget and can do math] Um. K. During the transaction, she asked me for my email, and I figured sure, I'll probably get coupons. I spelled it for her, and she stared directly into my eyes while she typed it. It was SO CREEPY. Being able to type without looking at the keyboard is not some impressive super power. I get it. You can type. Look at your screen, or look ANYWHERE other than creepy staring intently into my eyes. So I did not have a "bad" experience but I sure had a weird one and I'm not gonna be shopping at this location any time soon. You can get Yankees lots of places so I'll just be going somewhere else.

My eyes landed on some chapstick and I constantly need lip balm at work from the dry air in the lab. After smelling the unique scents, I went with the classically calming lavender!
