Just to let others know. I was about 100 miles from home in Connecticut, when on a back road, my clutch slipped, and I was stranded with a floppy clutch . I called the insurance company, and the road service people got me a flatbed sent right out. We pushed to try and get to the Harley dealership in Bristol Connecticut before they closed at 6:00. We arrived at 5:55 p.m., and the Service Leader and Service Manager (Rich Thibeault) were standing in the parking lot waiting for us. Before the bike was even off the truck, Rich was diagnosing the problem, while asking for details as to what happened. He nodded, as I explained, and when I was done, he said, "we'll do what we can." As soon as the bike was off the truck, 4 mechanics were surrounding it to see what they thought. All were in agreement as to the cause. It seems the factory isn't properly tightening a nut in the tranny and it loosens in the first thousand miles. I don't know the exact details but these guys sure did. They were right on it, and within 10 minutes or so, Rich was driving the bike out of the garage. Thus appears to be a common problem for these guys, so I assume so.e of you other newer Road Glide owners should know. I am back safe in my home tonight because of a really great group of people. ive purchased 2 softtails in the last 4 years from yankee harley ,, trust me i shopped around and came back to my best deal again to yankee,, my first softail i traded in my yamaha 1300 tourer again shopped around came back my best trade,,ive had service and tires mounted on both yamaha and softail, no problems and infact best price for tires and mount packages ive found,, and to answer the gentleman who says bikes are outside overnight,, totally wrong every single bike is inside at night, new bikes are brought out in morning and brought back in at nite so they can stock more bikes for customers convenience,, i never had to have them locate either of my bikes the color and model i needed was right there,, but they own another dealership in souyh hampton mass they can draw from , i do my homework before i sign the dotted line,, say what you like about yankee but to me it rocks, scotty read more

We've been visiting since 2009 when we bought our Heritage but never liked the way the sales staff operated hence bought our bike at a different dealership but we always bought everything else here because the rest of the staff, service included were exceptional. Today, however, it was different. There is a new owner and GM and you can see how that has made a difference in sales. Let me start by saying that I am a shop owner myself, and I spend a lot of money on Harley parts. Up until last year I refused to step foot in this place, the last two owners were total sh*t bags in my book. When I heard they had new owners again, I figured that I would go and introduce myself and see how they felt about work working together. I sat down with Mike told him what I do, and offered my assistance in any way I could. I can honestly say, he is one of them nicest most sincere guys I have ever met down there. With that being said, I recently ordered a 2019 FLTR from Yankee, it was in 3wks from the order date just as I was told. After goin to every dealer in ct to try to get a bike and getting the run around from everybody I found myself at Yankee told them what I wanted and boom they did everything they could to get me that bike and they did not only that but William One of the guys there has walked me thru everything and has contacted me thru the whole process even when he didn't have to sent me updates and pics of my bike as it was being upgraded and worked on. He actually treated me so well that I sent three of my friends down there in 2 weeks and all of them Bought bikes and we are all extremely happy with them I will not go anywhere else, this is the place to go for all your harley needs and more great service great dudes read more

As a 50 year Harley Davidson rider, I've dealt with many dealers. None come close to my experience at Yankee. The no-bull purchase of their bikes was, by far, the best I've ever experienced. They offered market valued for my trade-in, and didn't inflate the cost of the new bike and didn't try and upsell me or sell me accessories I didn't need or hit me with outrageous paperwork fees. Excellent customer service. Picked up my trade, delivered the new bike exactly on time etc. Highly recommend. read more

Yankee Harley is made up of a group of the most undereducated, unintelligent, people in Connecticut. Not to insult the intellect of the residents of Ct, which seem to be highly educated. But step into Yankee and its a whole new world. Terrible customer service, sales people like vultures and ignorant parts and service people. Definitely don't get your bike repaired here. They didn't connect my pressurized fuel line correctly when it was in for repair and it came out when making a turn. I went down and bruised my hip, scraped my elbow, and I'm having trouble with my rotator cuff as a result. They're refusing to fix the bike because I had driven 200 or so miles. You'll regret doing business with Yankee Harley Davidson. read more

Doug, John and Bob in service are all exemplary! Even Glenn and gang at the parts counter always exceed my expectations! I never feel like I've been taken advantage of. They are professional, polite, and respectful. I would not go anywhere else in the state for anything to do with my Harley Davidson. I've been elsewhere and I know where not to go.
