Ok. We happened to be I the area and had a craving for pizza. We ended up at Yanni's. Not amazing, not bad, just kind of is. My son and I split a meat lover's pizza. Crust, ok. Boring in flavor, but it held the stuff. Sauce? Neutral but tasted like sauce. Cheese? It melted and behaved like cheese but tasted void. Meats? They were there and uninspiring. Basically, a collection of mediocre efforts but the total was a pizza that we just kept eating. We were in agreement: it wasn't great, or even particularly good, but it just wasn't bad either. It's a cute little pizza place tucked in Hillsborough next to a Dunkin' Donuts and close to Franklin Pierce Lake. We stopped in after a lake day and it's a small place but has comfy and accommodating seating. They had a variety of drinks and even some larger bottles which is rare to see in pizza places nowadays. There was a football game playing and a cute little bar area to watch the game. They have a lot of fake (could be real?) plants around which gave it a homey vibe. Disappointed they didn't have any GF options, I settled for the Chicken Kabob salad with ranch. My boyfriend got a large pepperoni pizza. Pizza came out pretty fast. Salad came out pretty good for a salad- I was craving pizza so it didn't really satisfy me. The chicken was full of flavor and tender and my boyfriend said the pizza was amazing. So 10/10 on the pizza but I wish they made had gluten free or even cauliflower crust options. read more

Poor customer service. The counter staff are impolite and dismissive. I watched them start yelling at an older gentleman in front of me when he couldn't hear their mumbling. I placed an order to go for a steakbomb with lettuce, tomato, pickle and provolone cheese. I got sandwich with NO lettuce, NO tomato, No pickles, with American cheese and so salty it made my wife sick! I got home and ate part of it, left half in the wrapping. I went to tell the owner on my way out of town with the receipt, and she said I ate some of it, she would do NOTHING for me. I told her my wife got sick, "Not my problem". Another pizza place nearby was understaffed & had very long wait, so tried Yanni's, It was a very hot evening, the door was open , no screen door. Pizza just not very tasty, skimpy toppings. Most IMPORTANT to me, not a very clean restaurant. Plant by front window, messy & visibly dirty. Table not clean. guess that's why I only saw a couple of customers pick up orders. My parents and I stopped here to get some pizza a week ago. We had just moved to the area so this was the first time we had been there. We each ordered two slices of pizza and then went to find a seat in the dining room while she warmed them up. It's a nice cozy little restaurant really good variety of food to choose from. They had pizza and sandwiches and some pasta dishes too along with other items. They even have baklava. It is the kind of place where you order your food, pick out your drinks from the cooler, and grab your chips if you want them. You pay at the counter and then you find a seat or take it home. We were a little surprised when she brought out the entire pizza for the three of us considering the pizza was 20in. That is when we found out the pizza slices here are huge! Not only were they huge, but they were very good. We will definitely be coming back again soon. read more

This is the perfect place for you just got pizza from Yannis in Hillsborough NH for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the disgusting pieces of trash in my pizza. I had my 1 yr and 4 month old also munching on their leftover trash pizza! That would've been a fun and expensive trip to the hospital! Totally recommend if you are Oscar the Grouch and trash (metal and/or plastic) pizza is your thing . If not then this probably isn't the healthiest option for your baby or yourself. First time customer tonight. I ordered a small Pizza Market Special, received the Vegetarian instead. The person eating it said it was just "ok" and was upset that it wasn't what she wanted. Next on my order was a small (12")Hamburger w/cheese grilled sub. The ground beef was tasteless, and absolutely bland from no seasonings. Also it was very heavy on the mustard. Next on the order was a small (12") Steak Bomb, thankfully the person who ordered it said it was decent and was happy with her sandwich. Unfortunately that's $29 I won't see again. read more

In the food waste land that is Hillsborough New Hampshire Yanni's Pizza is no exception. I had a meatball sub that was extremely dry and flavorless the meatballs were overcooked and had hard crusty patches on them probably from sitting in the warming tray all day. Hardly any sauce on it at all I ordered provolone cheese and when I got it home there was no cheese on it. Not very friendly at all I think the woman that runs this place is from Grease and has a thick accent that is hard to understand she becomes irritated and angry when you ask her to repeat herself. I tried to eat a sandwich from Yanni's this weekend. By "tried", I mean I could barely get it down, but dammit, I was hungry! Anyway, I dreamed up my order based on the items listed in their menu, and ordered a small "veggie" with ONLY sun-dried tomato, mushrooms and cheese - toasted. With that I ordered 3 other sandwiches that were "stock" on the menu, two of which were heated. Nice and easy, right? Eh..no. The woman (who was very nice but with a thick accent) refused me the sun-dried tomatoes, "we don't have that," she said "how about just plain tomato?" I asked "ok" she replied "heated?" "yes, please..." I didn't even ask why the menu was incorrect...We grudgingly carried on with the phone call and I looked forward to my lunch. 15 minutes later, we picked up the sandwich order. $26 later (for 4 small sandwiches!) we went home to eat. None of the sandwiches were heated, and they were assembled messily and thoughtlessly. The quality of ingredients was lacking severely, if not entirely! The tomatoes tasted, well, like a refrigerator that needs to be cleaned. The mushrooms were stale-tasting. The bread was the best part, if you can call it that. Thinking of going to Yanni's? If only I had a cell signal to read the Yelp reviews, I could have avoided this very mediocre pizza joint. The menu is pretty extensive. I ordered a vegetable pizza. It took about 15 minutes, which was fine. The problem was that it was soupy- like wet and dripping. Probably another 2 minutes in the oven would have fixed that. I would expect a pizza place could have done it right. In addition the single layer cheap paper plates could not hold this pizza soup, and I tore right through the single plate I was given. Yanni should have stuck to making music that put people to sleep. Not a fan of really anything they do but they are one of the only places that delivers pizza in Hillsborough. It turns out the link in Google for pizza near Hillsboro NH takes you to a Yanni's in Deerfield NH about an hour away. When I showed up Friday for my takeout pizza they were very understanding and cranked out a great Margherita pizza for me in about 10 minutes. I will be back to try them again. read more

We usually go to Pizza Peddler in Peterborough but I was in Hillsborough and decided to grab a pizza at Yanni's to try it. Overall not very good. The place is not much to look at inside and the woman working the counter was not very pleasant. Not rude per se but didn't give you a warm feeling by any means. The pizza itself was not very good. Bland, we had to add salt. I have had worse pizza but this is the worst compared to Pizza Peddler in Peterborough and Rick and Diane's in Antrim.Avoid this place if you can. Taco Beyondo right up the street is some of the best food in the state- go there and get a taco instead. read more

My work orders from there sometimes twice a week. I'm not sure why but they do & I refuse to order with them from now on. They have yet been able to get orders right. Every time we order they continue to make the orders wrong. NO TOMATO & NO ONION means the customer ordering does NOT want tomato or onion on their food. So if you are planning to eat there, don't bother ordering the way you want it. Just ask them what they want on YOUR sub because that's how are going to make it. You know, maybe I should try ordering in Greek so they might understand. Anyways, I'm done with them. The best pizza in Hillsboro. The pizzas are very large, and have a thin crust. The side items (french fries, mozzarella sticks, etc) are good and generously portioned. My only complaint is that it seems when you order extra cheese, you don't get anything extra, but you still pay quite a bit extra. read more

We went to this horrific "pizza/sub" shop last night 1/30/17 to get a couple of steak and cheese subs as well as an order of onion rings and mozzarella sticks. The young woman at the register decided that I asked for onion rings after Jeff order the mozz sticks that we didn't want them. We waited over 15 minutes for this order, we got it finally and drove home. Upon opening the bags we had no mozz sticks... when I called to find out why the young woman who waited on us so "oh well you ordered onion rings" just assuming that we didn't want the other. Too bad she assumed. The food was horrible small sub 12" of bread and about 8" or 3 oz of meat. Will never go there again. read more

Slow and Overpriced. I think they closed and cleaned shop and then delivered my Pizza because it showed up over an hour later and cold. The only redeeming quality is that they do deliver, so unless you are lazy (which may be why you want Pizza in the first place) I recommend that you drive to any one of the other Pizza joints in Hillsboro or even Henniker. read more
