We ordered spanakopita as an appetizer, and the Greek feast was all so delicious. The cheesecake was also incredibly rich in taste. Service was phenomenal. Nate was our waiter. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

A Greek restaurant in Canyon County! The restaurant is a clean, well maintained facility with comfortable seating and plenty of room. No blaring sports bar music; quiet with white tablecloths tastefully adorned for a fine dining experience, dress code optional. Service is personal, knowledgeable, and friendly. There is a good selection of Greek and Italian entrees and lots of tasty appetizers to choose from. We ordered the fried calamari and it was delicious, tender, lightly breaded, but not oily or dark. It came with Tzatziki (yogurt based) sauce and the kitchen accommodated our request for a marinara sauce as well for a small charge. For entrees we ordered the Souvlaki (skewered seasoned shrimp and lamb). It was served with more Tzatziki sauce and came with a Greek salad (bell pepper, red onion, green olives, cucumber, feta cheese) with a light coating of vinegrette. I liked the taste, and the quality of the ingredients was superior but the texture may be too chunky for some. Other sides were a half lemony potato and seasoned rice. The grilled lamb had a slight char and tasted good. It was cooked medium well (no choice was offered) but was not overdone. The shrimp was coated with Greek seasoning. The only complaint we have from a culinary point of view, is that the taste of lemon was prevalent in every component except the calamari and lamb. Prices are moderately expensive but there are smaller and less expensive lunch portions available all day. But check this place out; we have an ethnic Greek restaurant in Nampa.

Great and good and service. My wife and I always enjoy dinner here. The lamb or beef souvlaki is great. Highly recommend this place.

However, we had a double date planned and Kosta's was chosen for us. One of the best choices ever. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in; friendly greeting within seconds of walking in, calming colors of blue and white adorn every wall with charming tablecloths on each table, and cute decor. Service was immediate with a carafe of water and a huge smile. I loved the vibe! Ordered a German Hefeweizen that came cold and frothy. Next came the Greek salad with the most juicy, crisp tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers, then heavily sprinkled with feta cheese, a pinch of capers, and a side of the best Greek dressing I've ever tasted. I was originally taken aback that there was no lettuce, but real Greek salad doesn't have lettuce! I had no idea. Hubby and I shared the Broiler Mix from the appetizer menu so we could sample multiple items. The Broiler mix has 2 chicken skewers, 2 beef skewers, 2 Kefta patties, 2 chorizo, 2 pitas, fries, tomato wedges and a healthy dollop of tzatziki. The pita tasted homemade; it was soft, thick without being too think and didn't taste chalky. The skewers were exceptionally cooked...tender, flavorful pieces of chicken and beef. The kefta (lamb & beef) patties had a nice texture, which was enhanced with the herbaceous tzatziki sauce. The only disappointment was the chorizo as it was overcooked and dry. It was easy to overlook as everything else was a shining star. We would go back in a heartbeat....totally made me want to explore more Greek food there!

With so many of us we had difficulty finding enough chairs/tables to go around, and wound up having to borrow a couple of taller stools from nearby. Many of us ordered a sandwich, cup of soup, and a drink and the price was pretty reasonable for the quality. I do wish the sandwiches were ready quicker as it took a fair amount of time for all 6 of our orders to be ready, but that also means that they were made freshly. Seemed to be fairly busy during lunch which was also a good sign. The French dip sandwich was good and the au jus made it delicious. Chicken noodle soup was also fairly good. I would be happy to go here again, just would go with a smaller group. This would allow me to more easily get a table as well as not having to wait so long for everyone's food.

Never bothered me much. Some of the best delis shared space with a gas station. There was a subway around the corner from our family house the kids loved growing up. It was individually owned so it was really good and never busy since in a gas station. This was a really nice location. They had specials up everywhere. There were cold sandwiches premade up in a case (we could have grabbed a bunch of those and moved with our day) all of the fresh ones were warm sandwiches which I love. Warm sandwiches mean they need dressings. I despise a fry sandwich. It's sandwich 101 good bread, good ingredients, and don't skimp on dressings! Everything smelled really good and it all looks great but it's just isn't dressed enough.

We finished our walk and made our way to the restaurant. This will be our 6th year having lunch here. Trying to keep our traditions alive. As a courtesy, we called the day before to let management know that they will be expecting a party of 20. This joint charges 30 bucks per person for reservations as a deposit. 30 bucks?!? It's quite humorous really, 30 dollar deposit is more than a majority of their meals they charge. The manager on duty last year told us to call to let them know for a heads up but not necessarily make a reservation. And of course that manager doesn't work there anymore. The manager I spoke with was a complete joke. "Saturday is our busiest day". We'll, if it's your busiest day than why aren't you properly staffed? "We can't just serve you in 2 seconds". Never have I asked to be served in 2 seconds. What kind of management team do you have running this joint? Clearly unprofessional clowns. We showed up at opening. Clearly I wasn't taken seriously since the hostess had no clue about our large party coming. No tables were set up. "You should have came at 11:30". I didn't know that we had to accommodate to the manager and his timing. He set up our tables and didn't even bother with us the whole time we were there. Food was good. I had the salmon. I had asked for my salmon to be overly cooked. With my new kidney, I can't have anything like fish and beef rare. My fish was not cooked the way I asked and had to be sent back. I expressed to the server if needed out more than well done. So honestly, I don't think the cook took my request seriously. Last year eating at the restaurant was a crap show. This year is a bigger crap show. So many better restaurants in town that don't have this ridiculous reservation fee and yet this joint does. Management here is on the same tier as a trash can. Honestly, after this last visit, we might consider going to another joint to start a new tradition. My family and our money is worth more than the disrespect management gave us.
