I travel full time, coast to coast, north to south, east to west, on and off road, throughout the U.S. in a 2005 Pacifica. My car requires consistent maintenance due to the wear and tear of extreme use. I happened across Dream Auto five years ago when I was outfitting my vehicle for full time travel. They removed all but the driver's seat to accommodate the interior, camper-like build. They also performed a few engine repairs. There were some wiring repairs they couldn't make, but they correctly diagnosed the problem, which I had fixed at another shop. While visiting family in Connecticut I returned to Dream Auto to have my vehicle checked out for some whining noises it was making. I always get a second opinion when major repairs are required, which was the case this time. The Dream Auto mechanics correctly diagnosed drive shaft, sway bar, and shocks issues, which they repaired. I ordered the parts through Amazon, which saved me about a thousand dollars. Dream Auto doesn't do wheel alignments, which I needed after the drive shaft was installed. So I had that done at another shop. Following that, I heard another unfamiliar noise. I returned to Dream Auto where they diagnosed wheel bearing and axle damage, confirmed once again with a second opinion. I ordered the parts, which I had delivered to the shop, and Dream Auto performed the labor. Now my old car drives like she's just off the assembly line. I couldn't be more pleased with her performance. The owner/manager, Antonio, and his brother, a top notch mechanic, one of at least two others, provide a family-like atmosphere, excellent communication, and quality diagnostics and repairs. Whenever I'm in Connecticut, Dream Auto is where I go for the best of the best in car repairs.

My buying experience was ok, but the rest has been less than positive…read more 1. It was promised to me at the time of purchase that an owner's manual for the car was ordered. A week or so later received a text from the salesman saying that he hadn't received it yet. I've had the car 3 months now. Still no owner's manual. 2. Before I purchased the car, I took it for a test drive. The test drive went great until I took a corner and the rear end shuddered. The car is AWD, thus concerned about the transfer case. I told the salesman if they got that issue resolved that I would buy the car. I was told the problem had been taken care of - just a matter of an "oil change" for the AWD. I came back and took the car for another test drive and bought the car. Now, the first time I took it for the drive, they came to me. I live in Branford but work in Farmington, so they met me in Glastonbury with the car for the test drive. When I took it for the second drive, it was on the day I was going to buy it, so I just drove it around the dealership. No issues. By the time I got it home, it started doing the shuddering again. Figured maybe give it a couple days for the oil to work its way into the gearing. Still didn't work. I drive ~100 miles a day just commuting to/from work. I took the car to my mechanic (who I've had since ~2005) who just took it for a quick test drive and confirmed that it either needed an "oil change" for the AWD, or there was a bigger issue with the transfer case. When the salesman had texted me notifying me that they had not yet received the owner's manual for the car, I notified him that the issue still existed for the shuddering. NO RESPONSE. About a week ago I had emailed Ellis about both issues, and have gotten NO RESPONSE. Mind you, when I tried to negotiate the price of the vehicle, they made me feel as though they were doing me a favor with the price it was at already. They had the car on their lot for almost a year (it shows how long it's been listed online), so who was doing who the favor? I literally feel as though this dealership just wanted this inventory off their lot worse than a bad rash and do not want to follow up with the concerns or issues of mine. Shame, too, because I tend to buy a lot of cars between myself and my 2 adult daughters. Oh, and my 5 siblings, and all of their children.

The event was your job Is your credit and zero money down? No payment for ninety days. I'm made appointment meet with a salesperson. Told them that I was there for the event. They informed me that there was no event currentlygoingon like that. So I showed them the advertisement. The sales manager confirmed that they were having the event. So I completed my application. I was told to call back in an hour for the result. The person who submitted my application called me and informed me that I was approved but I had to put down four thousand dollars. I told her I was there for the event. Your job is your credit and zero money's down. She informed me that somebody would be calling me back to discuss further. The sales manager called me and left a message. The following day, I received a call from another salesperson. Who then informed me that I was approved? But now I needed to put down thirty five hundred i again informed him about the event? The job is your credit 0 money down. I waited till monday, no call from the dealership. So I called them three time to speak with the sales manager i was informed that he was busy. Waited for a call back nobody from the dealership. Ever called me back to discuss the terms. It's amazing to me that you advertise one thing and do something totally different. How can you get away with that?
