This Estimate documented the need for the following replacements: (1) the oil pressure switch, thermostat housing, and power steering pump. On 4/10/2019, Rich replaced the oil pressure switch and thermostat housing. Immediately upon return of the Mustang, the oil-pressure gauge began to intermittently shift from E to F and the dashboard oil-pressure icon illuminated as well. On 4/15/19, the Mustang was returned to Rich's, to remedy the issues of the gauge shift and icon illumination. Bethany Silvia informed me that the problem remained and the condition of the Mustang was my responsibility. On 5/10/19, my wife was driving home, during which the Mustang began a "rat-tat-tat" sound that gained volume. She was less than a mile from Rich's and managed to drive there safely. On 5/14/19, I was informed by Rich that there was a problem with the Mustang "deep in the engine." I then picked up the car from Rich's and drove the Mustang across the street to Karns Automotive Sales & Service, for a second opinion. On 5/15/19, Dan Karns called and indicated the cause of the loud engine noise was the fact that there was no oil in the engine and no reading on the dip stick. Dan added five quarts of oil. The internal noise persists, and the car cannot be driven. A new engine is needed.

How amazing to discover Bill's Auto. Bill's Auto did not hesitate to find a battery and then have it delivered to their garage and promptly replaced the battery. It was almost closing time for their business but they never even mentioned that. We left Bill's Auto with a relaxed feeling after a very stressful day!!

Then within 4 days the interlock completely turned off because it lost power from all the wires being disconnected. I was stuck in the middle of the road and had to pay to get my car towed back to the shop. The shop blamed it on the interlock company saying the devices are old but it's so obviously the way they installed it!! I'll insert a photo of the wires and how dirty they left my brand new car. They couldn't even place a paper mat to keep my mat clean while they installed it? The owner Mark will dodge you if you have any problems. When I went to get the wires fixed, he wouldn't come talk to me for 30 minutes. He gave me his personal cell, and still doesn't answer my questions.

I walked into D&D today for the first time and asked him if he could program the origianal factory default values for the transmission (the fix I saw on a you tube video). He knew exactly what I was asking for, got his high end scan tool and had it done, including a test drive, in 15 minutes. My shift problem is now fixed and the transmission also seems to shift better between all six speeds. The mechanic who posted my answer on you tube, received many thank you comments, mostly from other mechanics, who wasn't aware of this option. I would recommend to go see Dave at D&D for any transmission issue. BTW: my car is 2013 Camry SE, 2.5 L, six speed A/T, 117k
