Located just steps away from Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way, the Yardarm Village Inn is truly a gem! My husband and l were fortunate to have the opportunity to spend  a few days there from June 19th to the 21st. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. There was a sitting room, bedroom and bathroom with a spacious shower. We really enjoyed our breakfast on the front porch - delicious blueberry muffins, coffee, fruit and yogurt. On our last morning we  were treated to two scrumptious chocolate chip cookies for our ride home. There's no need to worry about packing wine and snacks since the country store at the inn has wine, beer, soft drinks, cheese and crackers at very reasonable prices.  Bev and Scott are experienced and gracious hosts who made our stay so special! They really know how to make their guests feel at home! We're already looking forward to our next stay! read more

Bev and Scott Drury were delightful hosts at this beautiful and convenient B&B. We had a great room and a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked great. We loved the great location because we could just park the car while we were in town and walk wherever we need to go. Marginal Way was only a short distance, as was Perkins Cove. Barnacle Billy's (must eat there) was just around the corner. My only critique (and why I didn't give a 5) was that I was disappointed in the muffins we had heard so much about. Both of us remarked afterwards that they were kind of gooey and not up to what we'd expect to find in a quality establishment. Also, in today's food savvy environment, it might be nice to have a protein option, even if they were just boiled eggs. But, those are really just matters of personal preference. We can wholeheartedly recommend this B&B. read more

A delightful old house at the quiet end of town, about a mile from the centre of Ogunquit. Our room, though quite small, was very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom might present a challenge to anyone of above average girth, but we were fine. Being an old place, the walls are a bit thin, so we could hear the conversation going on in an adjoining room, but we weren't in Maine to hang around in bedrooms. The start of the Marginal Way coastal walk is a couple of hundred yards up the road, with about a 20 minute walk back down Shore Road once completed. Breakfast is fruit and home baked muffins, the latter prepared to order by our very pleasant and welcoming host. There are several very presentable restaurants in easy walking distance and I would imagine at the height of the season, being a mile out of town is quite a good thing! read more

We really enjoyed our stay at this Inn. For those who enjoy historic B & B's, you will appreciate this Inn. We would suggest if staying for more than a few nights you consider one of their suites. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. We also enjoyed our harbor tour on the owner's sailboat. There is a wine shop on the premises, which makes it really nice to enjoy a glass of wine on the great front porch. This property is within walking distance to Perkins Cove. Given the fact that parking in the Cove is very limited (and expensive), a definite plus. Also there is a trolley close to the Inn that will bring you into the town of Ogunquit where there are some unique shops. The only downside to this property is that the breakfast has a very limited menu, which is fine for a few days, but gets old after that. read more

What a beautiful, romantic, and memorable getaway! The Yardarm Village Inn was the perfect bed and breakfast for our trip to the seaside of Maine. It is right off the Marginal Way, which is a gorgeous walkway along the ocean that takes you from the beach to Perkins Cove where you can shop, dine, and enjoy the views of the ocean. The inn-keepers were incredible! They treat you like an old friend, answer questions warmly with a smile, and are armed with a wealth of information about the area. The Inn also includes a Wine and Cheese Shop that had a great variety of wine (some even local!), beer, snacks, jewelry, and other little Maine treats! Last but not least, the breakfast featured hands-down, the best blueberry muffins we have ever had. Enormous and baked fresh every morning by Scott, innkeeper and muffin man! This was an amazing vacation and a wonderful Inn. We will definitely return for years to come! read more

Location-well located on a quiet street not far from the Marginal way walk and Perkins Cove. Small rooms and small bathrooms so that may be an issue depending on your stature or mobility. The room was quiet-comfortable and had a hot shower! Scott was a very friendly host and served up good hot coffee and fresh muffins in the morning. A worthy consideration and a pleasant escape from the corporate cookie cutter choices that seem to be invading even the smaller places. read more

I loved staying here and found the stay to be exactly what we wanted. My mom and I visited in June on a girls trip and enjoyed the hospitality. The blueberry muffin smell greeted us in the morning before we got out of bed. We enjoyed having breakfast in the yard and wine and cheese on the porch. Thank you for a phenomenal stay! We truly enjoyed ourselves at the Yardarm Village Inn. Very friendly people, quiet environment, easy access -within walking distance to everything. We enjoyed our day walks to Perking Cove and our evening walks to downtown (where all the restaurants are). Besides the prime location, we found the grounds and rooms to Yardarm Village Inn very cute and cozy. The room had a country style feel which we loved. We enjoyed the front porch and the fire pit was a great touch to just unwind with a nice bottle of wine. Did I mention they had a variety of wine and cheese store? Deliciousness. I stumbled across the Yardarm Village Inn while searching for a place to stay for the Columbus Day weekend, what a good find. When my girlfriend and I arrived we informed Scott and Bev that the purpose of our visit was to fill up on as much lobster as safely possible. Immediately Scott gave us a run down of some the restaurants that were with in walking distance from the Inn, including the Perkins Cove Lobster Shack (great little place, ended up eating there twice, outstanding chowder). Bev was also helpful in giving us some ideas of other places around the Southern Maine Area. I will have no problem with recommending the Yardarm Village Inn to anyone. Bev and Scott were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay there. Scott makes some awesome and huge scratch blueberry muffins and and was very helpful showing us the way around Kennebunkport, complete with a map with our route marked for us. The room was very quaint, comfortable and adequate, but very small. It was a long, but beautiful trip through a garden complete with waterfall to get our luggage up the steps from our parking place. The whole area surrounding the B&B was beautiful and quaint, as we expected a small town in Maine to be. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone, as it was very reasonable and they had a small little store attached to the first floor. We found some cute souvenirs of our time there and it was very close to the beach and also, Pres. George H.W. Bush's summer home. Good memories! read more

Wish we spent more time at this charming Inn. From the warm welcome, the fabulous wine and cheese shop to the delicious homemade blueberry muffins for breakfast....it was hard to leave. The Inn is lovely, character everywhere you look and plenty of comfortable outdoor areas to enjoy the ambiance and the delightful breeze and salt air. Everything was perfect while staying at Yardam, owned and run by Bev and Scott Drury. Our first trip to Ogunquit was enhanced by staying here, a quick walk into town, steps away from Perkins Cove. The bed was comfy, room was clean, bathroom newly renovated, and the wine/beer/cheese shop in the B&B was very convenient. My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend while I was working a wedding in York and we had a great time. Scott and Bev are not only lovely/super friendly people but are so hospitable and make sure you have everything you need. Make sure you try the blueberry muffins!! DELISH. Short walk to shops and restaurants and Ogunquit Beach. The only thing that was a little tough was that we had the room right near the porch/first floor so we were woken up by others staying at the Inn around 7am. I had a wonderful stay at the Yardarm Village Inn for the 4th of the July weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the place and location. There are several outdoor sitting areas so you could have some personal space for a happy hour. Bev and Scott are incredibly hospitible. Having breakfast on the front porch was a big hit. The wine and cheese shop is really nice and they have some other items like jewelry and dishes for sale. It was great not being tied to the car and Perkin's Cove is only a few minutes away by food. If you're up for a little more walking, you can walk Marginal Way and go into town. I would stay here again and already recommended it to a friend. read more

My wife and I have stayed here twice. The first time was for a quick, weekend getaway for our anniversary and the second time was for our annual summer trip to Ogunquit. Both stays were very pleasant, and we look forward to making this our regular spot in southern Maine. For the first trip, we started planning a little last-minute, and the Yardarm has a policy of minimum 2-night stays. When we emailed to ask about reserving one night, they were very understanding, and told us that if we waited until a couple weeks before the date, depending on booking, they could probably bend the rules a little for us, which they did. Of course, in the future I won't want to stay unless I can stay for at least two nights! When we made the reservation, I had mentioned that it was our anniversary, and when we checked in there was a nice little treat waiting for us in the room. The rooms are cozy and clean, and the whole place has a great, classic New England inn feel to it. The Yardarm is very convenient to Perkins Cove, and not too far a walk from Ogunquit center and the beach. On the other hand, if you just feel like lounging, there is a gorgeous and spacious porch with plenty of rocking chairs, a side yard with gardens (and a new fire pit, I understand) and even some comfy chairs in the living room with some games and books to keep you occupied. For our most recent trip, we stayed three nights and took advantage of Scott's (the innkeeper) sailing charters. We went out for two hours on the Goose, a lovely 26' catboat and had a perfect late-morning cruise, getting back just in time for lunch. We also took advantage of the complimentary muffins and fruit for breakfast, and some of the best coffee I've ever had. Just completed my third stay at Yardarm Village Inn. It was again a wonderful experience. Scott and Bev tend to your every need by serving up an amazing breakfast, giving recommendations for where to go and making you as comfortable as possible. This was my significant others first visit here and he loved it. The Inn is walking distance from numerous restaurants and shops. We could have filled a few days with things to do in Ogunquit. Oh so nice! The Yardarm is a short walk from lovely restaurants, the Marginal Way, and some charming gift shops (in fact, there is a small shop on the premises). The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, and VERY comfortable - we slept like babies on their comfy beds. LOVED this Inn and Innkeepeers! We were newcomers to the area, and made to feel right at home. Suites are spacious, single rooms are a bit smaller. The Inn was quaintly decorated, quiet, very clean, painted yearly, and beautiful gardens. Perfect location to walk in the evenings, lobster everywhere, and fresh blueberry muffins every morning!
