Sweetest little plant shop in downtown owned by Franklin natives. They've been around for 26 years and they carry a pretty solid variety of plants, pots, books, watering cans, and other accessories. I had been searching for a moss pole at all the local nurseries with no luck and finally found one here. We recently attended a terrarium building workshop and had a blast learning more about plants and hanging with other plant fanatics. Such a unique and rad experience. This is a spot that you just have to pop into if you're on Main Street to see what new goodies they have in store. The owners are lovely people! Support local!

When shopping in Franklin, Yarrow Acres is a MUST VISIT. It has the charm of a local plant store with the selection of a big nursery. Each time I have visited, I've been amazed by their healthy plants and fully stocked shelves. They also have plant accessories, pots, and gifts for all with a green thumb. (I'll have to get a plant dad shirt the next time i come!) The prices are a little high; however, with a location like downtown Franklin, that is to be expected. P.s. the new neon sign is perfect for pictures!

Such an amazing spot for all different types of house and outdoor plants. They also have great gifts, clothing and accessories. Very friendly people working and an amazing variety of plant babies for all types of plant parents.

Rooted from Yarrow Acres is the cutest plant shop in downtown Franklin! I stumbled upon this place randomly during my quest for plant shops in the Nashville area, and OMG it is so darling & precious! I am obsessed with their rotating selection of indoor plants, plant books, cute pots, and plant trinkets you didn't know you wanted! The staff is unbelievably kind & some of them will even fan-girl over plants with you if you happen to engage in conversation. Y'all need to visit if you haven't already done so! 10/10 would recommend.

BPF tags. "Hand crafted" "uniquely different" "one of a kind"

Writing this review of a local store pains me as I like to support local when I can and I have been to this store prior for gifts, etc. However, I will no longer take my business there and will caution those that I know not to waste their money there either. Story is...my husband purchased a flannel button down shirt at Yarrow Acres from a company called Back Porch Flannels (BPF). This store consigns with BPF. After I had opened the gift, I tried it on, it did not quite fit well, a little tight in certain areas and looser in others. I also noticed that there were tags cut off (sloppily) inside the shirt. The BPF iron-on patch was placed in the shirt crookedly. All of this I thought was odd and decided I would bring it back. My husband thought it was strange as well. I would like to note, and I am including pictures, that the tag indicates "hand created," "uniquely different," "one of a kind," and "vintage inspired." The tag also indicates "our cozy flannels." My husband told me he thought at the time that this BPF company created their own flannels and that he was helping to support a local company. As you will read, it turns out these descriptors were a misrepresentation of the actual goods being sold. A couple of weeks later, I walked in the store to return/exchange/etc. I walked up to the counter, the girl behind it literally looking down at her phone, making me wait for a bit until she decided she would look up.....no "I'm sorry" or smile. I told her my story, she said exchanges for another shirt only and so I looked through the other shirts to see if I could find another one. I noticed that many of the flannel shirts being sold were from companies that mass-produce clothing, such as Hollister and others. Many of the shirts also look worn, pilled, etc. One shirt even had the size tag still on it that indicated Large 12/14 (Made in India) yet the shirt size on the BPF tag stated Small. I showed the girls at the counter that there were Hollister shirts and tags cut out but they told me they couldn't help and gave me a business card to contact the owner. I walked out unsatisfied and amazed that they were selling shirts for a company that relabels mass-produced flannel shirts with the BPF tags. Did I also mention that they are selling these used shirts which look like they came from a thrift store for $38?! I was able to email the owner Sheri via Facebook Messenger. She called back quickly. When I tell you that from the first Hello to the last Goodbye, Sheri was completely on the defense, which when I called her out on later in the conversation, she admitted she was on the defense. She said she was on the defense because of the way I wrote my message on Messenger. The sharp, defensive tone in her voice made me feel like I was immediately in the wrong. But if a customer is not happy with a product, is it not the role and responsibility of the owner to make things right?? Or at the very least listen, not take a defensive stand and state "I'm sorry" in a tone that indicates some kind of understanding... Sheri told me that they have consigned with this company for 7 years, that I was the first one to complain and that she was defensive because she believed in the company's goods. I explained that I felt that the company misrepresented the items sold to make it appear as if they were creating these flannel shirts. She disagreed. She stated that this company, and apparently other companies do this as well, purchase large lots of shirts, then wash them, fix holes in them and resell them with the BPF logo on them. She was amazed that I wouldn't know this, as if this was common knowledge. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but when a company is putting their name on something that they did NOT in fact create, they should write a little blurb about their business practices on a tag in order for the customer to at least know what they are purchasing. As the conversation continued, Sheri asked ME "What do you want?" Ummmmmm, who is the owner here? Who is in charge? Obviously, I wasn't going to be getting a refund. I honestly did not know what to say because she was asking me what I wanted when what I wanted they could not grant. She should have offered me, without a disgusting defensive tone, what THEY could do for me...the customer! I told my husband about the exchange after I hung up the phone. He agreed, felt like the products were misrepresented, and wanted either a refund or store credit. I contacted her via Messenger again, asking for one of those options but this time received both an away message and no response. Needless to say, the owner and the customer service is not JUST lacking but downright horrendous. BUYER BEWARE. Bottom line: if you want to receive a bad attitude and get ripped off, I highly suggest shopping here. Otherwise, there are so many great places to shop in Franklin where the service is so much better and customer-oriented.

Exceptional Service!!! I emailed the store asking if they could help me create a unique gift for a family member in Franklin who was celebrating a milestone in her cancer journey. When the store opened, Sheri called me, listened to what I was wanting to do, and both described and texted me photos of possible options. With just a little extra attention and effort on their part, I was able to create a meaningful, personal gift AND have it delivered. I didn't know until later that I had been talking with the owner, Sheri Gramer. Sheri, thank you for making this possible. Can't wait to stop in to the store again on my next visit to Franklin.

Yarrow Acres could, I guess, be categorized as a garden supply store for people with small fancy gardens, and not much experience The most practical thing I saw were the zinc ID tags for your garden. But even then, if you plant carrots, and when they sprout you can't identify them as carrots, well then you have problems. Interestingly, they also have a decent selection of artificial flowers. I guess that is in case the ones you plant don't grow.

I moved to Franklin from Yert Wyoming 28 years ago. It wasn't until I walked into Yarrow Acres this morning that I finally felt at home.

Absolutely Outstanding Local Nursery For Every Season!…read more Riverbend Nurseries in Franklin is hands-down the best place to buy plants, trees, and shrubs in the Williamson County area. As a longtime customer, I've been shopping here for years, and they never disappoint. The selection is massive -- everything from beautiful perennials and vibrant annuals to healthy trees, shrubs, vegetables, and hard-to-find varieties that you won't see at the big-box stores. They grow so much right on-site, so you know the plants are fresh, strong, and perfectly suited for Middle Tennessee's climate and Zone 7 / 7b conditions. What really sets them apart is the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They're genuinely helpful, take the time to answer questions, offer great planting advice, and even helped me with landscaping ideas that made my yard look amazing. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and size of the plants you get. Whether you're a serious gardener, a weekend warrior, or just starting out, Riverbend Nurseries feels like a true local treasure. Family-owned and operated since 1990, it's clear they care deeply about what they do. If you're anywhere near Franklin or Thompson's Station, do yourself a favor and stop by. You'll leave with healthy plants and great ideas -- and you'll probably be back again soon, just like me!

I live for April when I finally get to start my pepper plants and adore the heat of July and August when okra is popping off my plant like crazy. This year, I decided I wanted to maybe try a fall/winter veggie or two. Went to Home Depot (actually went to 3 Home Depot's!) and they had maybe 3 lettuces to choose from all of which were wilty and oh so sad looking. Don't get me wrong - HD rocks at spring veggie starters, just not fall ones I learned. Called around to a few garden centers in my area and Moore was actually the last one I called. Wish it were the first. Vicky who answered the phone was smiling (I could tell in her voice), kind, friendly and so helpful! She even went to check to give me an exact list of all the veggie starters they had in stock. Tons, btw! Carrot, kale, turnips, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, beets, other leafy greens and some fall herbs. I ended up stopping by about an hour after I called. The place is AMAZING! Great selection of garden decor, soil and gardening tools, along with furniture for outdoors and I believe any plant or tree you could possibly think of to plant. I was there early so not tons of customers yet but about 10 workers. All in masks. All chatting with one slither and laughing (they clearly love their job and who they work with). All asked me if I needed assistance. In the end as I surveyed by fall veggie options, I came to the sad realization that living in an apartment with a balcony/container garden, fall veggies aren't for me. They need so much more space to grow and it wouldn't suit my space well. But once I buy a house in the next few years and get my giant dream garden going - this will be my one stop shop.
