He is ruled by tradition, fear, and conservatism and he will refuse everything to a patient in order to keep himself comfortable. I think he is trained but he has no vision and will leave his patients suffering and wanting but he will feel comfortable and cozy. Also, his staff prescribes and bills my prescriptions in the most expensive way possible, even though I have asked multiple times for the prescriptions to be written for 90 days. They just ignore me and it has cost me an additional $100s in the last six months. They don't seem to care because they continue to fail to write for 90 days.

The Ophthalmologist at Kaiser has run out of options for me so I wanted to discuss whether this is more than just dry eyes, as this condition is starting to dictate my life rather than be something that can be managed. When I went into specifics about what had changed and how bad it was, he indicated that I had blood work TWO YEARS AGO and nothing was wrong then. I said I want new blood work and asked if there were other conditions that could cause this other than Sjogren's since I have a family history of this but with the labs two years ago didn't have specific markers. His response was "I don't know, sorry". Not I don't know but we can broaden the test to see if there are other indicators in your blood. So I had to ask to specifically ensure the tests would include thyroid, inflammation markers, etc. He said sorry a few times and said I'm just being honest with you....being honest that you are putting no effort in to consider what might be happening other than just my eyes....he told me to go back to the Ophthalmologist even though I already told him what they are doing is not helping and I am concerned it's a bigger issue. I ended the call in complete frustration and tears as things are very challenging right now and I am getting zero help.
