For most items, you can rent the day before and return the day after, and almost anything about your order can be changed up until 48 hours before the event. We just didn't feel like we had the time and energy we needed to plan on our own on top of working and living our busy lives... Enter Joelle! We were totally blown away after our very first consultation meeting by how organized and professional she was, not to mention how bubbly and upbeat. She's been planning weddings for over 4 years, and has a thorough understanding of the wedding industry, and great connections and knowledge of local vendors and venues. I decided to try it because they have a great website and it seemed like they would do a lot with the kids - and I am happy to share that it was our best birthday party so far! I am sure all the kids will remember it forever. My daughter turned 6 and wanted the Little Mermaid. She came on time and was in character from the second she stepped through the door to the moment she left. The activities were fun and engaged all the kids for her entire 90 minute stay. Plus she could sing! Like, really well! The cost was worth every moment. The kids got mini makeovers, face paint, nail polish, they coloured pictures, did a craft, played a fun game (with a prize for everyone), had a dance party, princess lessons, a coronation party, sang songs, read a book, took pictures and Ariel even stayed to sing Happy Birthday. We also paid an extra $15 for 10 treat bags (which I couldn't have put together for so cheap) and they were filled with good stuff! I would use enchanted princess parties again and I would recommend them to everyone! The quality of the costume and makeup was better than I expected and I was constantly impressed with how "in character" our princess was. And how well she knew her role!! It was fabulous. Oh, and I didn't have to do anything to help out either, the princess and her helper did it all!! Thank you enchanted princess parties!

There's a lot you can use to distract yourself from a particularly heavy snowstorm :-) The classes have been well planned and leave you with a nice artifact to commemorate your new (or growing) skill. The teachers personalities vary, so not all students will click with all teachers, but the centre seems pretty responsive in allowing switching between classes.

For a Sunday morning, they had a room with art class, children's programming on computers, and then the Antique room where the cooking class was. The class had about 9 students and there were tables and chairs set up. When it was time to cook, the kitchen got a bit crowded with 2 stoves and people standing around the middle counter space. We had to maneuver around others to find cooking utensils and bowls. But all the cupboards and drawers are labelled so it wasn't too difficult to find what you're looking for. The knives were sharp and they have lots of cutting boards. There are also lots of pans and some deep ones to hold lots of food. We cooked, ate, and then cleaned up. They even had containers for those that wanted to take some leftovers home. The venue is convenient with parking and also accessible by walking or transit. It's an older building as the washrooms are dated but everything was clean and in working order. I would come back and take a class here again.
