As we did not have a lot of time to set up after the funeral service and with no instructions making the coffee was a disaster. No lines for amount of water or coffee. When I returned the coffee and hot water urns, we were told the instructions were taped on the bottom of the box . My name was taped over the instructions so we had no idea they were there. Why not put the instructions on the top, near the top or inside the box or unit. Why hide it under my name?

There was a registration table in the lobby area. The lobby looks clean, and modern. The lamps were funky and there were several couches and a TV. They also have a TV with the airplane departures on it. Outside of the meeting room, they set up a coffee/tea area. It was a cramped with eveyone getting their drink. They ran out of hot water, but one of the participants let the staff know and they were to get more. The room was set up with chairs on each side and an aisle to walk down. There were coat racks at the back which was nice. The chairs were set up a little too close together so we moved them out as there was still room for people to walk by at the ends. The temperature of the room was comfortable and there was counter space on the side if needed. The washrooms are about 5 stalls that are unisex. There's one handicap stall and the others are a little tight for space inside. For meetings, I could see there would be a line up to use the facilities. There's a White Spot on site so convenient if you don't want to go out. There's free parking too. Seems like a decent hotel and looks clean and modern.

The weight machine seemed a little tangled up during my visit, but they have dumb bells and a bench which worked well enough. Two small gripes (1) the bathrooms do not have exhaust fans (this surprised me since it was a new building), and (2) the thermostat is in fahrenheit only. I know the hotel was likely designed in the US, but we speak Celcius here!
