Hubby ate the chorizo and eggs and was approaching the yogurt and fruit bowl.

Mike the Manager came by our table and was so personable and he has a great place here! Had the Dutch Baby with blueberries and hubby had the chorizo and eggs with fruit bowl w/ yogurt. Delicious and their waitstaff are hopping! Great food and great service here in Amarillo. Come and get your breakfast here!

Food was really tasty but the overall time it took to get our food seemed to take almost an hour even though we ordered right away from sitting down. The biscuits and gravy stole the show compared to everything else.

OH!--The Dutch Baby is SO good. Monty Hall just called and said, "THE PRICE IS RIGHT!" Y'all are missing it if you keep driving through Amarillo without stopping to treat yourself to an amazing Brunch treat!

Very fast service! I got a kids meal which was one pancake, one egg, and one piece of bacon. If you get a normal pancake they're HUGE. The pancake wasn't anything special but it was good! I have never been asked how I want my bacon cooked, but they asked and then cooked it to perfection! So I was very pleased there.

Weekend morning breakfast here is a must. The servers are always friendly, courteous, and patient. Feels like eating breakfast at home. The food is always made fresh and comes to the table hot ands delicious.

    Enjoyed the pancakes and coffee.

We are from Phoenix and traveling through Texas back from our visit to New Orleans. If you want to visit an old Texas diner, mostly frequently by the locals, this is your place. Good food, friendly service, good prices. It's a very busy place! We arrived at 8:15 AM on Wednesday and we were able to get a table, but it was pretty full. The ladies are friendly, but no nonsense! They are all hustling to take and deliver orders. We asked Dawn how she was doing and she kind of smiled and said I have absolutely no clue. They ordered the Dutch baby, sausage and eggs, and buttermilk pancakes. I didn't love the Dutch baby, it tasted kind of salty. But the pancakes were a solid choice, along with the eggs and sausage. We are kind of coffee snobs and not fans of diner coffee. We like a nice medium roast, which is hard to find. This coffee was actually pretty good! Once you're done, leave a nice tip for the ladies on the table and take your ticket up to the cashier to check out.

It's delicious home cooking! We eat here all the time. I wish they would have the Pancake Station menu in the evenings.

The Eggs Benedict was a large green chili biscuit cut into 4 pieces, toasted, w/ fried egg on top, topped with Hollanise sauce and candied Jalapeno bacon. A little spice but not too much. The French toast was 2 large slices of Brioche bread, soaked in cream & a hint of cinnamon grilled on a flattop grill. Served w/ maple syrup, eggs & (bacon). It was the lightest FT I ever had. Coffee was a nice, medium blend. Service was good and quick. There's a patio outside if you get there before the temps hit 99°, otherwise there are 2 and 4 top tables inside. Lunch is Served also.

Very tasty and well proportioned. Secondly, I'd say off the breakfast menu the biscuits and jalapeño bacon. I opted for a few eggs and a sausage patty for the review of course. For a local yokel establishment it was great for lunch and alright for breakfast. A bit high on the breakfast at $24.00. And to boot they were going to throw a glass of milk out that a patron did not want and I said I'd take it vs throwing it away lol still charged me the $4 for a glass of milk that was about to go down the drain.

Open for breakfast and lunch, Bagel Place at first glance just felt like your regular deli, but they are loaded up with tons of bagels. From your traditional bagels like Everything, Blueberry, and Cinnamon Raisin to unique ones like French Toast, Snickerdoodle, and Sun-Dried Tomato, they all looked exceptional. Inside, the atmosphere is your classic deli. You would think they're slinging Reuben bagels the way it looks inside. Their menu had plenty of sandwich options, but I was eying their current lunch special, which was made up of oven-roasted chicken, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, roasted red peppers, and ranch dressing. I got it on their everything bagel. For just over $13, it came with chips and a drink as well. It was only a short wait until our food was brought to our table. The sandwich was truly delectable. They do such a great job balancing all the different items in their sandwich, making nothing feel overdone or letting the ranch overpower the rest of it and turn the whole thing too saucy. Their bagels are really the star of the show here because they have so much flavor and are cooked perfectly. The everything bagel was seasoned exactly how you would hope, which made it an especially enjoyable sandwich. As for the staff, they were pretty on top of it and made the whole experience as seamless as possible. Bagel Place is the place. A perfect lunch. RIYL: Bagels and Places

I figured out why- they left off every spice that has taste. No garlic, no onion, no salt - just sesame l, poppy and a couple of sunflower seeds. Not everything. Cream cheese is tasteless. Also, they stop serving breakfast sandwiches at 11. Finally, they don't even make the bagel w cream cheese for you. They put the bagel in bag with a little cup of cream cheese. Understand I grew up in NY, so have a different baseline. This was just disappointing. But! People were friendly. Seems like a place for locals.
